Congrats! Big Bang Theory’s Jim Parsons marries partner of 14 years
Big Bang Theory's Jim Parsons, AKA Sheldon Cooper, married long-tern partner, Todd Spiewak, over the weekend.
According to Page Six, the happy couple tied the knot at New York's Rainbow Room restaurants on Saturday night.
The low-key couple have been together for 14 years, however, their relationship was only made public in 2010.
Since then, the actor hasn't been shy about declaring his love for his partner.
Just last year, he dedicated an Instagram post to his now-husband, calling him ''the best thing that ever happened to me, no contest.''
The couple's decision to tie the knot may come as a bit of a surprise considering Jim previously revealed he wasn't that interested in the tradition.
Appearing on The View in 2014, the sitcom star said: “You know, what’s very funny to me, I’m 42 now, and so much of my adult life, that wasn’t really a possibility or whatever and I have grown more interested in the idea and certainly supportive of the notion.''
“If my getting married would help the notion in general, even that might be enough to make me want to do it. My personal interest in that has never been that high.”
Nevertheless, congratulations are in order for the newly weds!
