Anyone who watched RTÉ of a Sunday afternoon as a kid will remember Seventh Heaven as the ultimate sign that the weekend was coming to a close.

Moral Christian values, family scandal, teenage angst – the Camdens taught us a lot.

That's why we were only delighted to find out that the cast had a giant reunion last night… they're still best pals!

Beverley Mitchell posted a picture of the group dinner to her WhoSay account earlier today:

Though she kept quiet about the reason for the reunion, we're guessing it could be a little celebration for Bev's recently announced second pregnancy.

The caption read "Something truly amazing happened last night and my heart is overflowing! Love these peeps more than I can ever explain! we were just missing Mack!"

Mack, of course, being Mackenzie Rosman, who played the adorable Ruthie – though now she's more at home doing Maxim photoshoots:

Forget Ruthie, though – where on earth was Happy?!

In case you're not feeling teary enough right now, here's a little blast from the past. Altogether now…"where can you goooo, when the world don't treat you right?"

It’s great to be ambitious and creative and all those things, but we really think it’s about time Bono just stuck to the music. When will he just leave the politics to the politicians, and the films to the film makers?!

The U2 frontman is penning a script with none other than Liam Neeson. Apparently they’ve been working on it for the last six years, so we’re very interested to see what they’ve come up with in all that time.

The film will be set in Ireland in the 1970s and focuses on the showbands around that time – so we can see where Bono comes in, what with the music and all that.

We wonder if his big fat check of €100million from Apple will speed things along too?! Time will tell!

It has been reported that Avril Lavigne and her husband, Chad Kroeger have called it quits.

The surprising allegations come not long after rumours began to circulate when Avril was seen without her wedding ring on a recent night out.

However, while that didn’t confirm anything – surely many women do the same – it has since been said that the two have split.

To add fuel to fire, the singer has also deleted an image of herself and her husband from July where he presented her with a 17-carat diamond ring for their anniversary.

The couple were married in the South of France in July 2013 after becoming engaged in August of 2012.

Avril was also previously married to Sum 41 frontman, Deryck Whibley and although they divorced in 2009, the two remain close friends.

Ah, the romantic comedy. Like them or loathe them, they’ve taught us quite a few lessons about love and life, for example:

If you hate him at first, you probably love him really
You know that really annoying guy in your office? The one you absolutely hate? Well, he actually loves you. And you will love him too! Just wait.

The bad boy is just waiting to be tamed by a nice girl
All a bad boy needs to tame him is a nice girl. As soon as you come along, he’ll be a changed man! We promise. Just look at what Belle did for Beast!

If the popular guy acts like he likes you, it’s probably a bet
But don’t worry, all you have to do is…

Take off your glasses and you’ll be transformed!
Oh my God! Who IS that girl? As soon as you take off your glasses, or take down your ponytail, all the guys will want you. And then the bet won't matter, he'll want you anyway!

It’s possible to drive a car and stare at your passenger
Not a romantic comedy exclusive, but who knew it was possible to stare at your passenger and not crash into a tree? Amazing stuff!

There are some traits that guys have that make you automatically tick them off your list. Here are some of them:

1. He's too cocky
Girls like a guy who is confident, not cocky. Arrogance can be used as a guise for humour if stated in a sarcastic demeanour and it’s crystal clear that you aren’t being serious.

2. Overcompensation
Okay so they seem like a great guy, until they start name dropping and boasting about how great they are. Next!

3. He doesn't like a "chase"
You have to work for this now come on!

4. He's a better friend
You place him in your friend-zoned list – bummer but he needs to step it up.

5. He only cares about sex
And he's not subtle about it.

6. He lacks confidence
He's sweet and cute and good-looking but if only HE knew that!

7. He's TOO nice
We're not saying we like a bad boy, but if we are being really mean then he shouldn't be the one apologising…

There is no two ways about it – this is disgusting.

A young man, presumably a student, was taking part in the Iron Stomach today when he decided he was out and attempted to walk off stage.

Unfortunately for the poor lad, he tumbled into the spit pit (at least that's what it looks like) and has to be helped out.

Don't watch this eating lunch.

Jennifer Lawrence has understandably been keeping a low profile since the 4chan photo leak, but we love the classy way she chose to make her comeback.

This new video, as part of J-Law's campaign for Dior, shows the actress talking about power and what it means to her. "A powerful woman is someone who exudes confidence…and also knows how to get what she wants," says Jen.

The photos are also just stunning, showing off Jennifer's natural beauty.

Looking good J-Law!

We know that money can’t buy style, but can it buy beauty? After reading about these super expensive beauty products, we’d love to give them a try (if we won the lotto, obviously), though we’re not convinced they’d be any better than our highstreet brands… If only we could afford to find out for sure!

Azature Black Diamond Nail Polish

$250,000 (about €192,951)

The thought of forking out a quarter of a million dollars for a bottle of nail polish gave us heart palpitations. It costs so much because it’s made of black diamonds apparently. Hmmm… we’ll stick with the glitter, thanks!

La Prairie Skin Caviar Concealer Foundation

$195 (€150)

While this IS meant to be great foundation, unless it actually airbrushes our face, we won’t be shelling out for it anytime soon. Plus, experts say there’s no benefit to putting caviar on your face, because you can’t absorb nutrients through the skin. Just eat it instead!

Creme de la Mer

$150 (€115) per ounce

This stuff has a secret ‘miracle broth’ that’s meant to work wonders, but experts say that the reason people notice the effects of Crème de la Mer is because they make sure to use it every night since they’ve spent so much money on it. Also, they probably rub it in gently, rather than tugging and pulling at the skin like you might usually do.

Kanebo Sensai Collection, The Lipstick

$55 (€42.50)

Apparently the formula of this lipstick is based on Japan’s Koishimaru silk, but is that enough to convince you to part with that amount of money? We’d probably just end up losing it anyway – THEN how would we feel?

Jean Patou Joy Baccarat Pure Parfum

$1,500 (€1157)

This perfume is made by a flower that only grows for two weeks each year in Jean Patou’s fields. Over 10,000 blooms go into each bottle, so we can understand why this perfume is so expensive.
