So what does the Tiger Dublin Fringe Festival and Niall Breslin aka Bressie have in common?

The ever popular Fringe Festival has been dominating our streets and theatres in Dublin for the past couple of weeks so we thought we’d better check out one of these productions! The Belle Bottoms is a musical comedy featuring two sassy ladies and their hilarious outlook on what it was like growing up in the 1970’s.

Our Entertainment Reporter Niamh Geaney got chatting to Bressie on his involvement and also to the Musical Director Liam Bates who in the past has worked with the likes of Bryan Adams and Bon Jovi!

As we had Bressie on hand we thought we’d try get him to tell us who is going to fill Dolores’s coaching seat on the Voice, what are these production company rumours we’ve been hearing and if he plans to delve into acting a bit more!

Niamh went along to see the show after and she says if you’re a fan of disco and laughter, it’s for you! The Belle Bottoms is on in the Smock Alley Theatre until Saturday the 20th of September and is also making a spin to Spiegeltent in Wexford from the 29th to the 31st of October.

If you have missed any of this week’s shows, then fear not, the catch-up will be on its way to you shortly! Enjoy

We all have them, we complain and moan about them… But we still don’t ‘hide’ them.

1. The Bragger
This is the friend who is posting about all of their material items. Example: “New Car!” “New Phone!” “New Hair!” Also posts exotic holiday snaps when the rest of us are stuck in work or college, and the only beach we will see is the one on our desktop wallpaper.

Bitch I'm Fabulous

2. The Selfie Queen
This person is CONSTANTLY posting pictures of themself, although you’re pretty sure you know what they look like already.

3. The Joker
Everyone has a few of these; the ones who post random hilarious statements that you have definitely pondered in your own head before but have never been ballsy enough to say aloud…

4. The Music Buff
This person usually falls into the indie or hipster category and posts a yYouTubelink for some new, hip, under recognised band on a daily basis and just KNOWS you haven't heard of them.

5. The Duck Face
Usually girls, this is the one who is always posting pictures of them out on the town, glammed up to the max, pulling the most perfected duck face you have ever seen.

6. The Hangover Fiend
This is the kind of people who post statuses about how “unbelievably dyyyyin” they are, or who are tagged in photos looking worse for wear after a heavy night of boozing.

7. The Foodie
This is the person who uploads photos of the meal they’re about to eat/have just eaten. So. Annoying. And it makes us have uncontrollable cravings… Foooooooood, nom. At least they're inspiration though.

8. The Promoter
That guy who invites you to every event under the sun, knowing that you have no intention, nor will you ever have, of going to the “Ladies Poker Night” or the “Sexy Strippers” club evening.

9. The Hypocrite
This is the friend who posts really positive, uplifting quotes, or links inspirational stories, but you know that in person they are pessimistic, down trodden and miserable. Also the people who make cruel, unnecessary comments one week, then post a status about how that-thing-they-said-last-week is a pet peeve of theirs.

10. The Moaner
Constantly taking to Facebook to post about what a bad day they’re having, or to write about pointless things none of us care about, such as “Waiting for the bus in the rain :(” Shut up please.

We all know those classic fashion rules like "blue and green should never be seen" and "always remove one accessory before leaving the house" but what if we just ignored them? Here are the fashion rules it's time to ditch!

1. Wearing White All Year Round
Some people even might think that white on white should never be seen but looking at past seasons it’s a big trend and one you should bend. The crisp and clean look doesn’t have to be kept for the summer though; wearing white in winter can look just as fresh especially when everyone else has transitioned into dark autumn colours! This is one trend that will make you look great and stand out from the crowd.

2. Mixing Your Jewellery
You will probably have heard your granny say once or twice that you shouldn’t wear your silver necklace with your gold watch and so on but this is definitely a rule you should break. Mix up whatever you have in your jewellery box and team them all together for a really chic and retro look.

3. Putting Black and Navy Together
These dark colours together will give a great toned effect to your outfit and make you look super slick. Navy heels with an all black outfit will spice it up a bit and turn your look from Penneys to Prada.

4. Putting Black and Brown Together
This is another rule that we don’t understand. Black and brown are neutral colours which mean they can be themed with any colour including themselves! Take into example an all black outfit; pairing it with a brown bag and leopard print scarf will make you look the bees knees.

5. Shoes and Bags Must Always Match
No, no and no. This seems to be one of them cardinal rules that was passed down from generation to generation. It might have been all the rage in the 50’s but definitely not today. The colour palates for your wardrobe can range immensely so don’t be afraid to go out with red shoes and a blue bag! Once your shoes and bag match your outfit you’re good to go; they don’t have to match each other.

6. Never Wear Red if You’re a Red Head
In some ways this rule can be broken and in others it can’t. Of course a red head can wear red but be sure to pick the right shade that doesn’t conflict with your hair or your skin tone. This rule can actually go for all hair colours and skin tones as you need the right balance of shades to make an outfit work.

La Belle Mama is an Award Winning Irish Beauty and Lifestyle Blog by Dee Doherty.  Having always been a fan of online Beauty Gurus, she decided to set up a blog of her own whilst on maternity leave.  What started as a way of keeping herself busy, turned into a passion which she says has taken her on a journey of learning, building self-confidence and making new friends…and that journey continues! We caught up with Dee to get all the best advice, check out what she had to tell us!

What is your best budget beauty buy?
Hands down, Collection Cosmetics' Lasting Perfection Concealer.  It's a cult classic at this stage, but if you do not have this already – you need it in your life!  My Mom uses it now too.  It doesn't matter your age or skin type – it's just PERFECTION…that lasts 😉

What is your top make-up tip?
Oh gosh! ONE top make-up tip?  That's a hard one!  I'm going to give my tip to create the illusion of fuller lips!  For the upper lip, dab a little bit of highlighter on your Cupid's Bow.  For the bottom lip, use a brown waterproof eyeliner and draw a tiny line just under the middle of the lip – this creates a "shadow" which immediately plumps the lip!  Then use gloss rather than a matte lippy!  Mmmwah!

Most girls have a much-loved lipstick – what's yours?
I actually DON'T love lipstick!  I prefer glosses, but my fave lip product is Soap & Glory's Mother Pucker in "Nudist".  I carry it with me everywhere.  It's a perfect nude and just makes my lips look pretty!

What was your very first perfume and what are you currently wearing?
My first perfume was "Les Belles de Ricci" by Nina Ricci!  (I'm really showing my age here, haha!)  As for what I'm wearing now, it's coming back into the colder weather, so I've switched back to my winter favourite, Paco Rabanne's "Lady Million".  This perfume also holds a sentimental value for me, but you'll have to read the blog to find that one out 😉

You're only allowed use three make-up products for the rest of your life – what are they?
Jeez!  How mean is this question?

#1 Concealer – because you can use it to cover a multitude of sins – blemishes, redness and just create the most beautiful version of your natural self.

#2 Mascara – because, well, we all love mascara!

#3 Blush – because it can just give your skin that "pick me up" that it needs.  You look happier, healthier and prettier!  (Even when you feel like poop)

Check out La Belle Mama for even more tips and tricks, or follow Dee on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter!

When the colder weather hits it can be easy to revert to blacks, greys and other muted colours. This season though we're determined not to let the darker evenings get us down, which is why we are big fans of Oasis' fun and colourful A/W 2014 collection.

As well as some gorgeous luxe wool and fur pieces, there are amazing jewel and candy-toned shoes and dresses to brighten up your autumn wardrobe.

A backpack is an essential for your A/W wardrobe and we have serious lust for this black leather one. Whether you wear it schoolgirl-style on your back, or carry it low by the top handle, it's a look that's functional but feminine.

We can never say no to a good graphic print and these dogtooth and tartan numbers don't disappoint. Make a bold statement in a head-to-toe design, or liven up your look with one key piece.

Time to get shopping!

Rob Kardashian has been somewhat off the radar as of late following his abandonment of his sister Kim’s wedding in Italy in May.

However, he did cause consternation in July when he tweeted about having a son that no one knew about: “Happy I got my son with me for the 4th tomorrow!! Can’t wait to watch the fireworks with my little man!”

He then retracted the whole secret son debacle tweeting: “Those who know me know I play and I do NOT have a son. Y’all got my mama emailing me asking if I have a son lol goodness hahaha. GOODnight.”

The entire incident was then forgotten…until now.

Rob has come out and tweeted that he has a son AGAIN!

The reality TV star tweeted: “I’m about to go pick up my son from the port and can’t wait to watch a great movie with him,, suggestions anyone??? He’s 6.”

However, this time Rob didn’t acknowledge that he was joking, but simply removed the tweet later.

So, what is going on?!

Either Rob has a son he is dying to tell everyone about but is being held back or he just really needs to change his Twitter password.

When 17-year-old Becky Connery found texts from another girl on her boyfriend’s phone, she knew something had to be done about it. So she got in touch with the girl he’d been texting, and together they found his THIRD girlfriend through Facebook.

The three girls then decided to confront Charlie, their cheating boyfriend, as he got off his plane at Luton airport – we WISH we could have been there, but at least one of the girls Becky shared a snap of the moment on Instagram:

Becky spoke to reporters after to explain what happened:

“I just wanted to see his face when all three of us were in the same place.

“He came out and froze. We started calling him a cheat and a liar really loudly. He didn’t have anything to say.”

When Charlie called in sick to work the next day, Becky defended her actions saying:

We know it’s not nice to publicly humiliate anyone – but we find it very hard to have any sympathy for Charlie considering what he’d been up to. Go girls!

Mel B has found herself in the middle of a rather embarrassing situation as her family call her out on a lie she allegedly told on The X Factor.

The former Spice Girl told contestant Kayleigh Manners she was from an area of Leeds known as Harehills – an area described by Kayleigh as having a “bad name.”

However, things have just got a little awkward and confusing as Mel B’s mum has come out and said: “Melanie was brought up in Harehills? Well, that’s news to is. It’s always been Kirkstall, the other side of town.”

Things got even worse when her sister, Danielle, said: “That’s what happens when you forget your roots. I might start saying I grew up in Buckingham Palace.”

Ouch!

Mel B previously acknowledged that she didn’t grow up in Harehills during a 2009 documentary called 7 Days On The Breadline in which she says: “Despite the fact I grew up in Leeds and grew up on another council estate in the city, I was shocked at the level of deprivation and the absence of hope I found when I went back to Harehills.”

Mel B and her family have been on the outs since 2008 as they blame her husband Stephen for putting a wedge between the star and her family.

Somehow, we’re not sure her family speaking out is going to do anything to heal the rift between them.

If your make-up bag has been looking a bit dull lately, and you feel like it could do with a pop of colour (on a budget, of course), then these great products form the Wet n’ Wild range could be just what you’re looking for.

They’ve only been in Ireland since January, but they seem to be a big hit already, which is why we’ll definitely be giving their limited edition nail varnishes a go. The creative naming of the different shades have us sold already – how could you resist a good pun like ‘I red a good book’, or something as sweet as ‘Candy-licious’?!

Their ‘Color Icon Eyeshadow Trio’ range are good value too as you get three different colours at a great price – but they’re limited edition so don’t hang around if you want to give them a try!

Their prices range from €3.99 to €4.49, which means you’ll be able to afford a little treat on almost any budget if you pop into Dunnes Stores or selected Penneys all over Ireland.

We’ll definitely be giving them a go!
