Nadine Coyle has recalled the moment she heard about Girls Aloud bandmate, Cheryl’s wedding to Jean Bernard Fernandez Versini.

The former pop star, who is in the UK for performances in Lord of the Dance, spoke of her surprise at the news, saying: “I didn’t even know. I had a friend tell me and I thought it was to the boyfriend that I had met a while back and I was like, ‘Oh my God’ but then it’s this new guy.”

Hmm, is that a catty tone we detect Nadine?!

We know Cheryl's wedding was certainly a surprise given they had not been going out very long – but should a former bandmate really be pointing that out?!

Nadine continued on to tell Attitude magazine that Cheryl obviously is very happy: “If you meet somebody and think, ‘I’m going to get married’, you must be having a ball.”

Cheryl and Jean-Bernard were married on the 7 July last in the Caribbean after dating for three months.

The mum-of-one also sent Cheryl a message of congratulations upon hearing about the marriage, urging The X Factor judge to join the "baby club."

Nadine has made no secret of the fact that she isn’t very close to the other girls anymore, even saying she doubted any of them would see her performances…

Hmm, we think she’ll be glad to get back to LA somehow!

It's been hard to say goodbye to summer, but there are some reasons we are very happy to see the back of it…like these!

1. College Time

For those of us lucky enough to be heading back to college, it's the best time of the year! Until one week in and you're starving, all your clothes are dirty and you're broke. But it's all in the anticipation!

2. Less Socialising

Whatever it is about summer, it tends to bring out our inner disco drinking divas. We come down with serious case of FOMO if we’re not perched in a beer garden, cider in hand, every single weekend. Winter then, paves the way for less drinking, more nights in catching up on Netflix and a general sense of letting our livers rest up.

3. Everywhere Smells Better

The ever lingering smell of sweat is replaced with a smell of hot chocolate, cool breezes, log fires and joy.

4. Fun Non-Festival Events

Festivals are great and all, but once the summer is over you’ll probably be glad to see the back of them for a while. Sure, what’s not to like about all day drinking, camping in a leaky tenet and eating enough burgers to sink a ship, but it’s good to try something new which is why, come the close of summer, Halloween and Oktoberfest are where it’s at. No portable toilets, no muck, no wellies, just pure, unadulterated joy.

5. Less Personal Prep

With summer comes shaving, tanning, waxing, polishing, buffing and boring times all round. Alas, not so much when it’s all over. The end of summer spells the end of personal grooming and personal pride too, on some level. Layer on the woolen goods because there’s a yeti hiding underneath this jumper.

6. Public Transport Is More Bearable

Public transport during the summer is really some mild form of torture. Sweat, tight spaces, late schedules, angry people and windows that won’t open all combine to make for a very uncomfortable commute indeed. Now, getting on to a warm bus is somewhat of a comfort instead of a curse. For the most part.

7. Better Food

Goodbye boring salads and hello fantastic comforting winter food, we’ve really missed you. After all a few extra pounds in the winter equals insulation, meaning there’s no better time to treat yourself to that tempting little treat that you’ve no doubt got your eye on…

8. More Excuses To Curl Up On The Couch

When the weather’s great outside, you might feel guilty for swapping that run for a run of the Kardashians and a nest of blankets, but now there’s no such guilt factor. Stock up on blankets, socks and great films because it’s getting chilly out there and we’re going nowhere.

9. A Fresh Start

September is ingrained in our minds as being a fresh start, a new beginning and the start of another year, perhaps more so than January. Think about it, you spend roughly 18 years of your life starting anew every September so now is as good a time as any to rid yourself of any past mistakes, any regrets and above all, to try and achieve anything that you want after a lazy or unproductive summer. Go out there and get it.

Why is it that when we’re getting off an airplane, we look about ten times worse than we did when we got on it, but the cabin crew still look the same?

We decided that if they can manage to maintain their look throughout a four hour flight, then we need to find out what they’re doing so that we can apply it to our everyday routine. So, we caught up with Suzanne Donaghy, a member of cabin crew, to ask her how on earth they do it.

“I tend to use MAC products,” Suzanne explains, “such as the studio fix foundation and their bronzing powder. I like to go a shade darker than my normal foundation tone so that the uniform and the cabin lights doesn't make you look washed out”.

Ah, so that’s why we instantly feel ten times pastier than usual as soon as we step on the plane. And there we were thinking it was just the fear of being the palest person on the beach kicking in early!

Suzanne also says that eye make-up is a really important part of the cabin crew look: “I love the first Naked eye shadow pallet by Urban Decay because of the variety of shades that you can mix and match.”

Before you get down to doing that though, you need to look after the base. Suzanne explains: “A good base primer such as Smashbox or Two Faced helps to keep my make-up in place while flying long hours. It also helps my foundation to glide on and look even.”

The next piece of advice Suzanne offers may put an end to your airport bevvies, as she says the key to looking good is to keep hydrated: “Water is essential for the role of cabin crew. You would be surprised with how dehydrated you get from working up in the sky. I also use Nuxe Oil for my body, face and hair. It rehydrates the skin and also smells delicious…like summer holidays!”

Last but not least – the lips. We love a bit of colour on our lips, but sometimes wonder why we bother when it disappears within an hour. However, Suzanne says the lipstick she uses is pretty stubborn – in a good way: “Maybelline 12hr stay is great for keeping that fresh look colour on my lips. It's stubborn to get off and the end of the working day, but does a fantastic job with minimal application.”

Sounds good to us!

Everyone knows and loves the “Cup” song – especially when done by Anna Kendrick!

However, when Miss New York, Kira Kazantsev, decided doing cups to Pharrell Williams' Happy was a good idea, the world disagreed. A lot.

When Kira went on to win the Miss America competition things just got even worse, and people can be really harsh!

Even Anna had a say on the whole thing, although she was nice about it…

Things then took an even more embarrassing turn when the caption underneath Kira, which was supposed to relate a fun fact about her read: "Loves anything Jane Austin."

Do you think they meant Jane Austen? Twitter thinks so…

A recent Instagram snap shared by Kylie Jenner has caused serious friction amongst her fans.

The photo show a very full-lipped Kylie posing for the camera and has fuelled rumours she has had lip fillers.

Up until now many had speculated that Kylie has had work done, but it seems to be the story on everyone’s lips (sorry) as of late.

Many social media users have been talking about the change in Kylie's appearence.

There does certainly appear to be a massive difference in Kylie’s pout since she a younger teen, however many of her fans say that the pout is down to some very clever make-up tricks.

If her new lippy look isn't down to fillers then we NEED to know her technique!

Hopefully Kylie didn’t feel the need to change her face, as she has always been a gorgeous girl but if she feels happier and confident in herself now then that’s ok too!

Let’s just hope she doesn’t change too much, after all she is still only 17!

We’ve always loved Kirsten Dunst’s style, and it turns out it’s not just her wardrobe that oozes vintage class and elegance. Her home does too, and it’s up for rent! At a whopping $12,500 a month….

That studio flat in Ranelagh isn’t looking so extravagant now, is it?!

If you were lucky enough to be able to afford to have Kirsten as your landlord, you’d find yourself with a view of the Hudson River, a large library and sitting room, a brand new kitchen and a master suite. Oh, and your neighbours would be Casey Affleck and director Gus Van Sant. Sound good?

You can rent the apartment furnished with Kirsten's vintage furniture, or you can have her stuff removed. After forking out for the first month's rent, we think we'd be holding onto the furniture!

Kirsten spent $3.09 million on the place back in 2007, as she wanted a break from Los Angeles after a stint in rehab. We don’t know why she’s putting it up for rent seven years later, but what we do know is that whoever gets it is one lucky tenant!

Clothing company, Urban Outfitters are facing massive backlash over a jumper they have on sale.

The jumper features the crest for Kent State University and has speckles of blood on the front.

Tragically, four unarmed students were killed during a protest against the Cambodian Campaign in 1970 at the university in what became known as the Kent State shootings.

People have been expressing their anger about the distasteful jumper on Twitter, with many in disbelief that Urban Outfitters actually saw fit to release such a garment.

A search for the jumper on the clothing company's website now says that the jumper has sold out, somehow we think it may just have been pulled. Or at least we hope so.

The company has since released an apology for the offending jumper.
