It’s true – you WILL kiss a lot of frogs before you find Prince Charming, and you’ll fall in love with a few too. If you’re anything like us (or Taylor Swift), there are five distinct types of guys you will somehow become obsessed with before eventually finding ‘the one’, and here they are:

The popular guy
As much as we may deny it, that popular guy in school, or college, or work has romanced us countless times – In our dreams. Taylor Swift actually got him in the form of Harry Styles, but it wasn’t long before she found out that dating Mr. Popular wasn’t all it was cracked up to be. We still wish we’d gotten the chance though….

The stoner
Everyone loves a stoner, until they realise that smelling like smoke all the time isn’t actually cool. And sitting in their darkened bedroom every night because they haven’t got any money isn’t fun. It’s time to move on to…

The musician
Are you a sucker for a guy with a guitar? Yeah, us too. Until we realised that every girl fancies him, and he’s quite fond of the attention too. Also, the fifth time he asks you for a lend of a tenner, it gets kind of old.

The bad boy
We blame Grease. Sandy D made us all believe that we could transform any bad boy into a hopeless romantic who would fall in love with us once we strutted our stuff in a pair of leather pants. Sadly, more often than not, this isn’t the case. While dating this guy may be fun for a while, you’ll soon grow tired of his excuses (and bailing him out of jail). Lesson learnt.  

The ‘timing was wrong’ guy
The most heart-breaking of all. This guy seems perfect – except for the fact that he has a one way ticket to Australia, leaving in a month. Or a girlfriend. Or some other reason which stops him from being ‘The One’. Don’t worry though, what’s meant to be will be, and once you get through all these guys, you will be well equipped to spot ‘The One’ when you see him!

Who knew pranking dogs would be so amazingly funny?

This video of dogs being pranked in the park is possibly the best thing ever!

Using a stuffed puppet dog and a very yummy looking bone, the dog’s are lured over only to be scared to within an inch of their lives.

In fact, the only dog who doesn’t bat an eyelid is a little puppy – all of the others are terrified!

We do feel a little bad for them, but hey, they all got the bone in the end!

Former star of Downton Abbey, Jessica Brown Findlay, is the latest famous face to fall victim to the hacking scandal.

The scandal has been unfolding since Sunday, with nude photos and videos of over 100 celebrities being hacked from iCloud and leaked to the public.

The FBI are currently looking into the incident, which has seen nude photos of Jennifer Lawrence and many more celebrities having their private photos shared online.

It is now alleged that numerous sex tapes featuring Jessica have been leaked online, with her spokesperson saying that there will be no statement made as it is a “criminal investigation.”

Other celebrities such as Ariana Grande and Victoria Justice have denied that the photos online are them, with Ariana tweeting: "to every1 going on about my "nudes" & my "m&g prices" neither are real! my lil ass is a lot cuter than that lmao & tour details r comin soon."

Kelly Brook also denied that any photos leaked online would be real, tweeting: "The only nude photos you'll ever see of me are the ones that I "Leak" and the ones that my head are superimposed on! FYI."

Carrie Underwood has announced that she and her husband, Mike Fisher, are expecting their first baby.

The singer, who rose to fame on talent show American Idol back in 2005, revealed the exciting news on her Twitter account with an adorable photo.

Showing her two cute dogs, Ace and Penny, wearing little jumpers that read “I’m going to be a big brother” and “I’m going to be a big sister”, Carrie wrote: “In honor of “Labour” Day…Ace & Penny would like to make an announcement. Their parents couldn’t be happier!”

Carrie and Mike, a hockey player for the Nashville Predators, have been together since 2008 and were married in 2010.

Well, if that’s not the sweetest announcement we’ve ever seen, we don’t know what is!

Congratulations to the happy parent-to-be on this exciting news!

Well, it’s about time men got the chance to appreciate all the effort we go to when getting ready for a night out! This video shows men trying make-up for the first time – including plucking and waxing – and as one man so elegantly puts it, “it's a huge pain in the ass”.

Well, he got that right! While these men are wearing full on lady make-up, word on the street is that some men are actually fond of a bit of discreet cover up too. There’s even a whole website made to sell make-up to men.

While we enjoyed watching these guys get a make-over, we’re not sure how we’d feel if they kept it up every day!

If you’re not exactly Nigella Lawson in the kitchen department, you’ve probably turned to the humble Rice Krispie bun at least once in your life as a stress-free recipe. Hey, there’s no oven involved but it’s still baking – kind of.

Instagrammer Jessica Siskin has taken Rice Krispie treats to the next level with her amazing, colourful and tasty artwork. Jessica, who used to work in the fashion industry, has now built a full time job out of her cereal creations, and receives several orders each day for personalised designs.

Or even magazine covers – we love this Harper’s Bazaar inspired cake!

The New York-based “baker” said the idea came out of her total lack of culinary talent. When asked to bring dessert to a friend’s party, she decided on a colourful Rice Krispie design. “I honestly don’t know how to make anything else,” she said.

Well, if we were artistic enough to make something as elaborate as this Snickers-inspired treat, we definitely wouldn’t be complaining!

Dermot and Dave have made their move from 98fm to Today FM, so we knew there’d be a few funny ads coming out to tell everyone to tune in – however, Twitter was NOT happy when they saw this one:

People felt the ad, which showed their faces in a bra, was sexist, and they had no qualms about letting the duo know how they felt:

Some people, however, thought it was all a bit of an over-reaction:

A spokesperson for Today FM has also defended the ad, and explained that it's all just a bit of fun: "It’s not meant to be taken so seriously. The ‘Double D’ is obviously a play on a bra cup size and the ‘double d’ that is Dermot and Dave. I think when people tune into Dermot and Dave today, they’ll appreciate that the lads don’t take themselves too seriously either."

Cee Lo Green has avoided being charged with rape after the court found that there wasn’t enough evidence to convict him.

A woman had alleged that the singer gave her ecstasy without her consent during dinner, and when she woke up in his bed the next morning, she wasn’t sure what had happened the night before.

Green’s lawyers argued that the two had ‘consensual relations’, and due to the lack of evidence, Green walked away with only three years’ probation and 45 days of community service instead of a jail sentence.

However, Cee Lo wasn’t happy with being able to sleep in his own bed instead of bunking with another prisoner that night. Instead, he decided to voice his opinions on Twitter, and as we all know, Twitter and angry celebrities do not mix.

Hmmm…whatever did or didn't happen, we thought he'd know better than to tweet about such a sensitive subject. If being accused of rape didn't hurt his reputation, these tweets ought to do the trick instead.

Ever woken up on a Saturday and started frantically getting ready for work? Or answered your phone thinking the alarm clock was an incoming call? If so, you’re one of 15% of people who have experienced “sleep drunkenness.”

This strange condition, also known as “confusion arousal” is described as a feeling of disorientation upon waking. New studies conducted by the Stanford University School of Medicine found that not only is sleep drunkenness quite common, almost 1 in 10 people actually experience it once a week or more.

In most cases the incidents were fairly harmless – participants recalled waking up in a hotel and having no idea where they were, or being unable to find the bathroom in their own home.

Some of those surveyed, however, revealed that they’d become violent when woke suddenly, punching or hitting their partners. Researchers believe that this is due to the “startle reflex” which is triggered when we are abruptly awoken by an alarm or a noise in the room. Our bodies are put on high alert so that we can protect ourselves if needed – and action comes before reason. Scary!

Common causes of sleep drunkenness are not getting enough sleep – less than 6 hours per night on a regular basis – or indeed getting TOO much sleep – more than 9 hours per night. But if you experience extreme confusion upon waking more than once a week, it could be a sign of a sleep disorder, so do consult a doctor!

Angelina Jolie’s wedding dress has been revealed, and we’re not quite sure what to make of it.

She and Brad Pitt are known for their big family, and they’re always going on about how much they love their kids, so we guess it was fitting that they had a part to play in their wedding. But would you let your child doodle all over your dress, as if it was a sheet of paper rather than an antique lace and silk dress made by Atelier Versace master tailor Luigi Massi?

Ok so they didn’t doodle ON the dress, Luigi Massi sewed the designs on based on their kids’ drawings, but it had the same effect. We suppose when you’re Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie you can get away with his kind of thing – and it is quite sentimental. 

Apparently the kids also helped write their parents vows, and Maddox, 13, and Pax, 10, walked their mum down the aisle. Zahara, 9, and Vivenne, 6, were flower girls snd Shiloh, 8, and Knox, 6, were the ring bearers for their parents' wedding. So it really was a family affair.

Is sentimentality more important than style on your wedding day? It’s up to the bride we suppose, and even though Angelina may look like she made a pit stop at Sesame Street on her way to the wedding, she still looks pretty amazing!

Preparations for Lauren Conrad’s wedding next month are coming along nicely it seems – she revealed some gorgeous pictures of her bridal shower yesterday.

LC held the party at her house and guests were apparently asked to bring a personal recipe on a card as their gift.

The star of The Hills was the picture of bridal elegance in a white lace dress and a simple headband. Friend Allison Norton posted this picture of herself posing with Lauren, with the caption “best bridal shower for the best bride.”


Lauren, who got engaged to fiancé William Tell last year, revealed a couple of the decoration details on her own Instagram account today. She shared a picture of the stunning cream and gold place settings along with a cute personalised napkin reading “Almost Mrs. Tell”. Aaaaw!


Although the star has been keeping quiet about her wedding dress plans, she recently launched her own line of wedding wear and plans to use the designs for her own bridesmaids. Handy!

Sometimes it is necessary to be a little bit, well, rude and sarcastic. There are some of life's moment that just require it. End of. 

1. Any Time You Happen To Be Around Your Siblings

Siblings provided the perfect platform for you to practice your sarcasm on as you were growing up. You see, your siblings are one of a very select few people that no matter how many times you insult them, will always forgive and forget, making them ideal testing candidates.

2. When Receiving Exam Results

“Oh did you do well?” everyone will inquire, to which you should answer, “oh yeah, amazingly.” Either they’ll believe you and you’ll now be a semi genius in their eyes, or they’ll understand that you’re being totally sarcastic and will back off. You’ll win either way.

3. When Your Parents Are Asking Where Your Life Is Going

The wilder and more vivid your answer the better. Really go to town on it and shock them. Something along the lines of quitting college, joining a circus and moving to Argentina should do it.

4. When People Appear To Have Lost Their Manners

Nothing infuriates us more than holding a door open for someone who breezes on through as though you’re there firstly to serve them. The same goes for rude customers. You’re actually SO WELCOME.

5. To Undercut Your Sworn Enemy

It can be hard to think of good comeback on the spot, so if one comes to you at the time, by all means indulge. 

6. When Someone Asks You An Awkward Personal Question

Generally relating to the state of your love life and nine times out of ten, asked by an older family member. There’s no way out of this trap other than to blast them with sarcasm from every which angle and then charge. Because they’re old (no offence) they won’t really understand.  Whatever keeps them happy.

7. At Any Period Before 9am

Oh good morning. Great morning, in fact. Could all of the shiny, happy morning people out there just take a running jump and then feck off because mornings are not good for anyone and if you try and talk to me we will have no choice but to be very sarcastic to you. Apologies in advance.

8. At Airport Security

It's the actual worst.
