So we all remember the phenomenon that was the vajazzle, right?

Women were glueing tiny little diamond-like stones to their vaginas, for aesthetic purposes (we're not messing!)

Anyway, after the vajazzle came and went, we met 'Passion dust', and we thought we had reached peak vagina – but we hadn't.

Recently, we stumbled upon a cosmetic brand called The Perfect V, and yep, it is a full range of beauty products for your lady parts.

The Perfect V have a wide range of products designed specifically for your vagina – including a HIGHLIGHTER (ugh!)

Anyway, some of their products make sense, like the gentle wash or even the moisturiser – but the illuminator is something I cannot abide by.

Listen, in my personal opinion, none of us need to be sprinkling glitter on our vaginas, but if you choose to do so, I suppose you should know the facts.

The Shades of V illuminator is a luminizer for your vagina (yes, really), that is designed to "highlight, soften and illuminate."

Wow.

According to the website it is a "special highlighting cream with skincare benefits."

Here are some of the 'benefits' it promises to exude:

1. Luminous iridescent colour to add some extra prettiness to the V.

2. Renews and improves the skin, making it appear more youthful and fresh.

3. Brightens and minimises the appearance of skin imperfections.

4. Quick to dry, leaving a luminous glow to the skin.

5. Vitamin E evens skin tone and prevents dark spots

6. Elderflower soothes skin and luminizes the skin

7. Vitamin E anti-oxidant that conditions the skin

Eh, we'll be keeping our highlighter firmly on our faces, thanks.

Festival season is upon us, and there is one essential we just can't live without, for the sake of both practicality and out festival OOTD.

Bum bags are extremely handy for festivals, and it seems the fashion world is catching on.

The likes of Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner have both been seen rocking designer fanny packs in recent weeks, but we've spotted one that has simply blown our minds.

GUCCI

The world of Instagram is currently obsessed with Gucci, and whether you're a fan of the double G belt or the Marmont bag, the trend is here to stay.

The Gucci Belt Bag is a stylised twist on the Marmont, and while it was available in leather this summer, the designer label has just dropped a velvet edition for the new season.

While we may not be able to casually order one online in time for Electric Picnic (mostly because of the €1000,00 price tag) we do love to lust after them on Insta.

Haven't spotted it on a blogger yet? Prepare to get acquainted with the Gucci bum bag:

Famous YouTuber Trisha Paytas left the Celebrity Big Brother house last night voluntarily in a surprise move.

Hours later, the content creator was online, and upoloaded a video entitled Why I Regret Leaving Celebrity Big Brother.

However soon after, Trisha uploaded another video in which her opinions had clearly changed.

Trish was appalled by the 'fake ass people' in the house.

She alsoaccused fellow house mate Paul of body shaming.

'Basically body-shaming me. Saying I walk and I have my ass hanging out and I walk around with my legs showing.'

'Meanwhile, Chad does it and every single girl does bikinis but because he looks at me and I have all this body hanging out he's like disgusted by it.'

She also took a swipe at ex Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding, and insinuated that she has 'inside information' on her.

She also accused Celebrity Big Brother of catering towards Sarah through 'shady' manoeuvres.

Trish also took to Twitter to threaten the show with further exposure.

Trish claims to have a big secret about CBB that 'they won't keep silent.'

She also made multiple digs at the level of fame, or lack thereof, that the current contestants have.

Trisha will appear on tonight's episode of CBB, so we have one more chance to watch one of the most explosive housemates in recent CBB history.

Ah American Appparel, the haunt for hipsters hunting for the perfect Instagrammable tennis skirt or foil-like shell jacket.

AA held a very special place in the fashion world with it's commitment to quality and distinguishable look, and when the company decided to close down all of its IRL stores, we were devastated.

However, the brand is back with a new online presence, so if there has been a high-quality hoodie or velvet scrunchie-shaped hole in your life for the past few months, never fear.

The online site is up and running flawlessly, but things are a little different than before.

Rather than tonnes of sale items in time sensitive prints or textures, the brand has completely stripped back production to the minimal basics.

The site, in clear white, minimalist print, now reads: 'Globally sourced, ethically made, sweatshop free. That's American Apparel,' so the brand manifesto is still the same.

A post shared by @lysabtd on

However, the products have been pared back to two categories – The Basics, which include simple, day-to-day, block coloured separates like The Easy Jean and cotton bodysuits, and The Icons.

The Icons shop includes AA's most iconic pieces, from the most photographed, like their high cut swimsuit. to the most recognisable, like their knee high socks.

Not all of the items are back in stock yet, (the site officially re-launches on August 14) but we are pleased to have the brand back in our lives.

Legally Blonde is an iconic noughties film, and frankly, we'd be lost without the bend and snap.

Elle Woods is one of our favourite movie characters ever, and her quirky and hidden intelligence make us love her even more.

One thing in particular that fascinated us about Reese Witherspoon's portrayal of Elle was the amazingly funky wardrobe Elle possessed.

Well, clearly Reese was a fan of the Legally Blonde wardrobe too, as she kept quite a few pieces from the movie,

Taking to Snapchat, Reese showed off her LB wardrobe to fans, and ever tried on a few of the items, 16 years later.

From the fluffy bunny slippers to Elle's date night dress, we got seriously nostalgic.

Twitter user Alison screengrabbed the iconic snaps and shared them to Twitter, where they have now been liked almost 40,000 times.

We now hav a hankering to spend our Saturday binge watching the Legally Blonde flicks…

So, at this stage we have all seen that picture of Rihanna looking sexy AF in her festival outfit, posing up a storm and working her angles.

Wearing a teal wig, diamond bra, and a plethora of feathers, Queen Ri has frankly never looked better.

After she broke the internet by slaying in that picture, and other image surfaced on the web, and haters took the opportunity to diss Riri for it.

A post shared by badgalriri (@badgalriri) on

The image shows Rihanna looking unposed and comfortable, adjusting her outfit.

The picture could be deemed by some to be unflattering, but this is Rihanna we're talking about, she always slays.

The snap was uploaded in a side-by-side with the image Rihanna shared to her own Instagram, with a tweet reading 'Rihanna played us.'

Okay, so we all know our best poses, and not everyone looks fab when caught off guard and poorly angled (the unexpected opening of the selfie cam anyone?), but Rihanna was being body shamed by this Twitter user, as he insinuated that Rihanna was attempting to trick people into thinking she was hot by uploading a flattering picture of herself.

Twitter was having absolutely none of his body shaming nonsense, and took to the response section in their droves to defend the singer.

Here are a few of our favourite responses:

Cash continues to be the most popular method of financial transaction, but an upward trend in contactless payments shows that cash may not be on top for long.

Cash represented 44 per cent of all transactional payments made by consumers in 2016, according to UK Finance.

Less than 4 per cent of business transactions were made in cash.

According to the data, contactless cards are becoming more and more popular, especially with millennials.

Over the next ten years, the number of cash payments is set to decline by 43 per cent.

Currently, 10 per cent of  25 to 34-year-olds make one or none cash payments each month.

'It is clear that over the past few years we have witnessed a significant shift away from cash use in this country with contactless cards undoubtedly causing a decrease in the use of notes and coins,' Adrian Buckle, chief economist at UK Finance told Breaking News.

'However we don’t believe that the UK is on the verge of becoming cashless, as some reports have claimed.'

'People will always want to choose the payment methods that best suits them and, for the foreseeable future, in lots of cases that will continue to be cash.'

A new documentary is set to air on RTE Radio One, which recants all of the historic details of forty years of underage disco, Wezz.

Whether you deem it famous or infamous, the disco at the Old Wesley Rugby Club in Donnybrook, Dublin became a cult pastime for many young Dubliners.

Wezz was much like any teenage disco up and down the country, and with the descriptions of makeup disasters, shifting rituals and illicit drinking, we're sure that while this documentary focuses solely on Wezz, it will be relatable for any Irish person who attended an underage disco throughout secondary school.

Love Letter to Wezz recalls the anecdotes of the discos from the 80s up until its closure in 2015.

With gems littering the reminiscent documentary like 'the boys wore so much hair gel "you could break a piece off"' and descriptions of the pre GHD days when hair ironing was a necessity, we're already dying to hear the full radio piece.

It includes interviews with attendees from different time frames, and the differences in anecdotes are startling.

From Maniac 2000 montages to the 'drunk room' (we all know the one) the doc seriously takes us back.

The documentary will air on RTE Radio One at 1pm today, or you can listen to it here.

The UN Committee Against Torture has called on the Irish Government to conduct a thorough investigation into the Magdelene Laundries.

It has criticised the government for not looking into the numerous allegations of abuse within mother and baby homes.

'The committee is concerned at reports that the State party has not undertaken sufficient efforts to uncover all available evidence of abuses held by private institutions, nor taken adequate steps to ensure that victims are able to access information that could support their claims,' reads the advice, according to The Journal.

They also advised that every allegation of abuse at all mother and baby homes be investigated, rather than just a few of them.

The government was criticised for its failure to compensate victims and prosecute abusers.

'In order for the State to avoid criticism that they are being uncooperative or maybe trying to hide something, they should just be up-front and find that information, obtain that information and release that information,' said Solicitor Fiona Fox.

'This issue won't go away.'

The UN originally recommended an investigation six years ago.

Anais Gallagher is following in the footsteps of many celebrity offspring by carving out a career for herself as a model.

The stunning 17-year-old is currently fronting a vintage-inspired campaign for Reebok, and the 90s vibe of the entire thing is giving us major nostalgia.

A post shared by Anaïs Gallagher (@gallagher_anais) on

'Im so excited to be fronting the new Reebok campaign,' she told Vogue

'I've always loved Classics and have grown up wearing the brand throughout secondary school, so to be in the new apparel campaign is a dream for me.'

The campaign is shot with a grainy, Instagram filter vibe, in which Anais shows off a series of head-to-toe Reebok looks.

Speaking of Instagram, if you're not following Anais already, we highly recommend.

'I find that quite a lot with fashion, I always tend to draw towards menswear, rather than women’s style,' she told Vogue, touching on her personal style.

'I find it frustrating that I can’t find sportswear in men’s sizes.'
