Unless you have been living under an internet-repellant rock, you will have seen the viral video of the Irish family attempting to get a bat out of their kitchen.

The video was posted to Facebook on Tuesday and has millions of views, as well as being widely covered by Irish and international press.

Derry, Tadhg and Maurine Fleming cemented themselves into the viral hall of fame with their antics in the video.

In the video, the family battle with a very frantic bat as it flies around their kitchen being a general nuisance.

Tadhg's ongoing commentary culminates as Derry attempts to catch the bat with a towel and the family dog Basil pees on the kitchen floor. Typical.

Now, the family are extending their 15 minutes of internet fame by being interviewed by iconic American presented and comedian Jimmy Kimmel on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Jimmy invited the Fleming family, from county Kerry, onto the show to chat about their newfound viral fame, and they have a few more anecdotes up their sleeve.

'It's absolutely crazy' said Tadhg, of the reaction the public has had to the video.

The bar allows customers to bring their own alcohol to the saloon, to be synthesised into a series of unique and innovative cocktails by their team of mixologists.

It's always pretty tempting to fall headfirst into a bottomless brunch at the weekend, and if afternoon hangovers are losing their appeal, we have a sensational, thought still slightly boozy replacement to your usual mimosa.

Rosé  popsicles are here to take over as a fun alternative to cocktails, these tasty iced treats are seriously addictive.

And dare we say, apart from the rosé part, they are *PRETTY* healthy.

Strawberry rosé popsicles

For 6 popsicles

  • 120ml coconut milk
  • 120ml rosé wine
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 450g strawberries

Place 300g strawberries in a medium saucepan and cook over low heat for about 10 minutes, mashing regularly with a spoon.

Meanwhile, blend the remaining strawberries with coconut milk, rosé, maple syrup and vanilla.

Alternatively spoon the strawberry mixture with the coconut mixture in a popsicle mold and freeze overnight.

Cheers!

It's officially Friday (thank the Lord) and after a hard week of work there is nothing we'd like to do more than curl up on the couch with some confectionery treats.

The only thing that could make chilling with some tea cakes any better is the potential addition of a cuddly puppy to warm our frozen hearts.

A new event is on the horizon that means relaxing with doggos and delicious doughnuts doesn't have to be designated to a Friday evening.

Combining two of the best things on earth, Dogs Trust are asking people all over the country to dust off their aprons and host a Pupcake Day bake sale in aid of the animal welfare charity.

Every single euro raised will go towards the life saving work of Dogs Trust.

Pupcake Day officially takes place on October 6th, but you can hold your bake sale any day in October, be at work or in your local community.

'Holding a bake sale is a great way to get people together at home or in your workplace, while also raising money for a worthy cause,' said TV3's Catherine Leyden.

'Dogs love baked treats too, there are some gorgeous dog friendly recipes included in the downloadable Pupcake pack from Dogs Trust, so why not include human and doggy treats in your bake sale?”

BRB, gotta grab some baking mix and a Bichon Frise.

Ever since Girls Aloud burst onto the music scene back in 2002, speculation has been rife about the girls' dynamic.

As is the case with most girl groups, the relationship that existed between the five women was subject to intense scrutiny, with the press and public only too eager to pit them against one another.

And as the years progressed, there was no denying that some members formed closer bonds than others – something the girls readily brushed off when questioned about it in interviews.

However, it looks like recent developments have re-ignited interest in the group's dynamic.

With Nicola Roberts making barbed comments over Sarah Harding's appearance on Celebrity Big Brother to Sarah's suggestion that Cheryl knows how to play the press and public, fans of the band are only dying to get an insight into what really went on behind the scenes.

And now that the dust has settled and the women have essentially moved on with their lives, it looks like Nadine Coyle is happy to open up about the animosity which festered within the group at times.

While speaking on The Sun's Bizarre Life podcast, the Derry-native implied that it all came down to whose voice was heard most often.

"I'm not a victim, it's not that," Nadine insisted as she reflected on her time with the uber-successful band. "It just happened that I always got more vocals than everybody else."

Nadine admitted that the frequency with which she featured on the band's tracks ultimately contributed to a sense of ill will.

"So in terms of people wanting their voice heard, that wasn't happening and it made people very, very bitter. They didn't like that," she admitted.

And now we know…

Mexico was hit by an earthquake last night which has claimed the lives of two people.

The 8.1-magnitude earthquake occurred off the coast of southern Mexico.

The quake was so strong that it reportedly caused buildings to sway as panicked residents fled.

The earthquake has caused a tsunami warning to be placed in effect.

'Off the west coast of Mexico is what's called the subduction zone, the Pacific Plate is moving under the Mexican peninsula,' Lucy Jones, a seismologist in California who works with the US Geological Survey told Breaking News.

'It's a very flat fault, so it's a place that has big earthquakes relatively often because of that.'

'There's likely to be a small tsunami going to the south-west.'

If there's one thing James Corden does better than any other chatshow host on the planet, it's the musical numbers.

Whether it's Carpool Karaoke or impromptu singalongs, the British star is an absolute pro when it comes to showcasing his vocal range.

And yet despite this indisputable talent, Liam Payne decided to challenge James to a riff-off on a recent episode of The Late Late Show.

After hearing that James had dared suggest that boy bands were better than solo stars, the former One DIrection member chose to lay down the gauntlet, and James accepted.

From Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC to Wham and Hanson, these two really go for it, and to be fair, they nail it.

Ladies, we'll let the two lads take it from here…
