Last month, Anna Faris and Chris Pratt devastated fans across the globe when they announced their split on social media.

The beloved Hollywood couple had been married for eight years and are parents to four-year-old son, Jack.

At the time of the announcement, Anna and Chris asked that their privacy be respected and the pair have remained tight-lipped about the situation ever since.

“Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward,” the joint statement read.

However, Anna is expected to reveal some intimate details about her marriages to both Ben Indra and Chris Pratt in her upcoming biography, Unqualified.

"I feel really, really nervous because it feels really intimate," she said on this week's episode of her podcast, Anna Faris Is Unqualified.

"I’m excited and I … you know, when I first got the book deal I thought, 'Oh, what a great adventure.' Now that it's getting closer, I feel, in a sense, that I got to always hide behind characters, and now this is me and it feels a little scary."

According to the actress, the book will document her life from the “quiet kid with headgear” to the “actress in LA,” and cover all the difficulties she faced during that transition.

"It’s just my experiences," she told her listeners.

The highly anticipated book, which Anna describes as half a memoir, half an advice book also contains a passage written by Chris before the split, and is due for release this October.

We can't wait to get our hands on a copy!

Other than family, there are two men who have always been there for us when we needed them the most – Ben and Jerry.

Whether you've had a long day at work, are going through a bad break-up, or let's face it, are just in the mood to eat a entire tub of Phish Food in one sitting, the ice cream entrepreneurs have never let us down – and now it's time for vegan and lactose intolerant consumers to get in on the action.

Earlier this year, news that Ben and Jerry's would soon bring its non-dairy ice-cream to Irish shores caused a bit of a frenzy online, and although no official release that had been revealed, people were gearing up to try the new mystery flavours.

Well, today the wait finally over, as the ice cream brand have announced that the new line-up is set to hit Irish supermarkets later this month.

Gone are the days when your non-dairy friends would drool with envy over every sweet spoonful of  ice cream you shovel into your face, because they're about to get three mouth-watering flavours of their very own, including:

  • Peanut Butter & Cookies: Vanilla non-dairy ice cream with chocolate sandwich cookies and crunchy peanut butter swirls.

  • Chocolate Fudge Brownies: Chocolate non-dairy ice cream with fudge brownies.

  • Chunkey Monkey: Banana non-dairy ice cream with chocolate chunks and walnuts.

What's more, Ben and Jerry's new flavours are the first ever non-dairy Fairtrade-certified ice cream in Ireland. It's win-win!

“Our fans dared us to go dairy-less… and we did! Creating non-dairy ice cream that meets the funky and chunky expectations of Ben & Jerry’s fans was quite a challenge,” says Ben & Jerry’s Flavour Guru, Andrea Ball.

“But we’re delighted to confirm the long wait is nearly over! Spoons at the ready to dig in…”

The non-dairy flavours will be available from late September 2017, with an RRP of €7.45.

Since the birth of the hugely controversial 'heroin chic' look, which was seen on catwalks all over the world in the 90s, the fashion industry has faced intense criticism over the supposed glamourisation of eating disorders.

For more than 20 years, campaigners have urged major brands to take cognisanse of their influence on impressionable young men and women, and actively discouraged agencies from hiring models with a distinctly emaciated look.

And while some small changes have been made, including France's decision to outlaw the use of skeletal models in the country's fashion industry, critics insist more needs to be doing to look after both the models, and the individuals who aspire to be them.

Taking heed of the criticism, two French fashion groups, Kering and LVMH, have signed a charter which bans the use of models below a British size 6, European size 32 and US size 0.

The groups, which are home to Christian Dior, Gucci, Givenchy and Yves Saint Laurent, have confirmed that the stipulations laid out in the charter will be met during castings.

Commenting on the move, François-Henri Pinault, chairman and chief executive of Kering said: "We hope to inspire the entire industry to follow suit, thus making a real difference in the working conditions of fashion models industry-wide."

"Respecting the dignity of every man and woman is at the heart of both group’s values," read a release on behalf of both groups.

"Having always cared for the well-being of models, LVMH and Kering feel that they have a specific responsibility, as leaders in the industry, to go one step further with their brands."

Further to this, the charter has pledged to care for the wellbeing of their models by providing nutritional advice and psychological support.

If rumours are to be believed, Tom Cruise reportedly enforced a five-year dating ban on his ex-wife, Katie Holmes, as a condition of their divorce back in 2012.

The stipulation meant that the former Dawson's Creek star was obliged to keep any relationships she entered into out of the public domain in the five years that followed her divorce from the Hollywood A-lister.

And it seems there's no coincidence that as the so-called ban draws to a close, Katie and Jamie Foxx have been seen together on a Malibu beach this week.

Since 2013, rumours have circulated that Jamie and Katie were more than just good friends – reports the pair have strenuously and consistently denied in the years that followed Katie's divorce.

In recent months, Jamie has insisted that the continuous speculation amounted to little more than 'fake news' and was “one hundred per cent not true".

However, images of the pair strolling hand-in-hand this week have led the press and public to believe that their dismissals were based purely on the reported five-year condition.

Standing ovation guys; keeping a four-year relationship secret is no mean feat.

After warning that it may need to 'review' its policy regarding carry-on luggage, Ryanair have announced some major changes for its passengers.

Those without priority boarding will no longer be able to bring two pieces of carry-on onboard the aircraft, however, once passengers arrive at the gate they will be able to put the second bag in the hold free of charge.

But, it's not all bad news, in an effort to encourage customers to check in more luggage, the budget airline will increase the bag allowance from 15kg to 20kg and reduce the standard fee from €35.00 to €25.00.

As usual, the price of a check-in bag will increase by €10.00 at Easter, Christmas and for long-haul routes.

The changes will come into effect from November 1, 2017, and it's hoped the new measures will help to ease delays caused by over-packed cabins.

Ryanair's Kenny Jacobs said: “These bag policy changes will cost Ryanair over €50m p.a. in reduced checked bag fees.”

“We hope that by restricting non-priority customers to one small carry-on bag – their wheelie bag must be placed in the hold, free of charge at the boarding gate – this will speed up the boarding of flights and eliminate flight delays being caused by not having sufficient overhead cabin space on busy flights.”

Priority Boarding can be purchased for just €5 at the time of booking or added to a booking for €6 and is available up to one hour prior to scheduled departure.

Consider yourself a bit of a chocolate connoisseur?

Well, it's time to forget everything you thought you knew, because scientists have just discovered a fourth type of chocolate.

That's right, Swiss chocolatiers, Barry Callebaut, have just invented a totally new taste sensation – and it's unlike anything we've seen before.

With its pink hue and berry-like flavour, this Ruby chocolate is the first new chocolate discovery since white chocolate was introduced to the market in the 1930s.

What's more, Ruby's unique flavour and colouring are completely natural with Barry Callebaut revealing it uses the ruby cocoa bean to give the chocolate its “berry-fruitiness and luscious smoothness.”

“Ruby chocolate is very different and clever stuff. It’s refreshing and has a light, creamy texture,” chocolate expert and editor of industry bible Kennedy’s Confection Angus Kennedy told The Sun.

“It tastes so light and fruity you don't really realise you're gobbling up one chocolate the other, so it means consumers will be able to eat more of it than other types of conventional chocolate.”

“Whether this a good or bad thing depends on your point of view,” he added.

Ruby chocolate has been almost a decade on the making and appears the pink stuff is going to be targeted at millenials, with the confectionery company insisting quirky yet authentic nature will attract younger generations.

“It’s natural, it’s colourful, it’s hedonistic, there’s an indulgence aspect to it, but it keeps the authenticity of chocolate,” Barry Callebaut CEO Antoine de Saint-Affrique told Bloomberg.

“It has a nice balance that speaks a lot to millennials.”

We have a feeling we'll be seeing this stuff all over our Instagram feed very soon.

If you thought the highlight of Stormzy's night at the GQ Men of the Year Awards was picking up the Copper Dog Solo Artist of the Year, you'd be wrong.

The 24-year-old, who took to the stage to accept the accolade, gave perhaps one of the most humble speeches we've heard in a long time.

Sounding genuinely touched by the events of the night, he began: "It’s such a blessing to be here. In a room full of so many legends."

And then he dropped the RK bomb.

"I got a selfie with Ronan Keating, are you mad?” he added before confirming the same on Twitter.

"At these events I just run up to everyone and beg it man just met ronan keaton are you mad," he wrote to which Ronan replied: "Nice to meet ya, Man."

Unsurprisingly, Twitter users wasted no time throwing the suggestion of a collaboration into the mix, with one writing: "Whopper collab of Rollercoaster ft Stormzy."

Oh, and if that wasn't enough of an ego boost for good ol' Ro, former Oasis frontman, Liam Gallagher, seemed equally as pleased to have made his acquaintance.

Replying to the grime artist, Liam wrote: "@Stormzy1, you say you got a selfie with @ronanofficial? I got a f****** handshake man!"

And that, ladies, is how the GQ Men of the Year Awards went down…

Rumours that Prince Harry had started dating Suits actress, Meghan Markle, began circulating late last year, however, the pair have remained notoriously tight-lipped about their blossoming romance.

That is, until now. Speaking to Vanity Fair, the 36-year-old actress has finally opened about the fairy-tale love story, admitted they are a couple and are “really happy” together.

She also insisted that despite the fact that Harry is such a high-profile figure, their relationship is no different than anyone else's.

“I can tell you that at the end of the day I think it's really simple,” she said.

“We're two people who are really happy and in love. We were very quietly dating for about six months before it became news, and I was working during that whole time, and the only thing that changed was people's perception.”

"Nothing about me changed. I'm still the same person that I am, and I've never defined myself by my relationship."

Though they have been dating for well over a year now, Meghan and Harry have, for the most part, managed to keep their romance away from the prying eyes of paparazzi.

And even when the tabloids do manage to string together a story, the actress has a pretty fool proof coping strategy – just don't read them.

“I don’t read any press. I haven’t even read press for Suits. The people who are close to me anchor me in knowing who I am. The rest is noise.”

But, it seems the couple know that this sort of secrecy can't go on forever, with Meghan admitting she knows one day it will be time for them “to come forward.”

"I'm sure there will be a time when we will have to come forward and present ourselves and have stories to tell, but I hope what people will understand is that this is our time.

"This is for us. It's part of what makes it so special, that it's just ours. But we're happy. Personally, I love a great love story.''

So do we Meghan, so do we.

Homeless charity, Home Sweet Home, have cancelled a vigil for Jack Watson after it emerged he was a registered sex offender.

The homeless man was found unconscious outside a shop on Suffolk Street at around 4am last Thursday.

He was then taken by ambulance to St. James' Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

According to reports, Jack Watson, 50s, had a number of aliases and had been deported from Australia in October 2015.

Mr Watson amassed a total of 40 convictions during his 19 years in Australia and reports suggest that he was jailed for 18 months in 2008 for the indecent assault of two young girls.

A statement from Home Sweet Home said the charity was “shocked at reports Mr Watson was deported from Australia for very serious crimes”.

A vigil which was due to take place outside Apollo House on Thursday has now been called off “out of respect for the victims of these crimes.”

However, the charity insisted that "this does not change the fact that many people have died as a result of our housing emergency. This is totally unacceptable and urgently needs to be addressed.”

Instagram stories officially took over from Snapchat stories in terms of users a few weeks ago, but it seems that the social media giant hasn't quite worked all the bugs out of its systems.

Instagram users have been taking to social media platforms in their droves to complain about one particular issue when it comes to Insta stories.

It seems that users are unable to adjust the volume while watching Instagram story videos.

Instead, when they try to turn the volume up or down, the volume in the app cuts off completely.

Instead, the ringer volume of the phone itself begins to adjust, rather than the volume of the story video.

Peeved story watchers have had to exit out of stories, and ex-out of the app itself and re-enter in order to get the sound to work again on a particular story they were watching.

It is not known yet if the volume vendetta is a glitch or simply something Instagram needs to work on in a future update.

Here's to hoping they sort it out fast, is the angry mobs on Twitter are anything to go by.

Zoella fans, prepare your Christmas wish lists.

It seems that the world's biggest blogger is gearing up for Christmas just a little early (no harm in being prepared) with the launch of her epic advent calendar.

The blogger has already launched a successful beauty biz, which was followed by an equally successful lifestyle range, so it's not surprising that the YouTuber wants to add some festive aspects to her empire.

A post shared by Zoella (@zoella) on

The Zoella All You need is Xmas advent calendar is currently available to order online from Boots, and we're getting our order in early.

Rather than focusing on confectionery treats, the boxes are filled with little trinkets, homewear and beauty pieces.

According to the description, the 12 treats include 'beautifully scented candles to stunning accessories, stationery, baking goodies and other special surprises.'

From what we can glean, (spoiler alert) there is definitely a scented candle, an orange-infused room spray and a very special Christmas bauble encased inside.

So for that major Zoella fan in your life, this could be the perfect pre-Christmas pressie.

Or just treat 'yoself, no judgement here.
