If there's one thing we love more than coffee, it's free coffee.

And in a move which has us shedding a tear of gratitude this afternoon, 20 coffee shops in our nation's capital will be providing the public with free coffee at various points throughout the day tomorrow.

And why are they doing this, you might wonder.

Well, the gesture is reportedly in response to the news that Starbucks will be opening its 53rd location on 4 Crampton Quay.

So, between 8am-9am, 1pm-2pm and 5pm-7pm, the following 20 coffee shops will be giving tired and thirsty city-dwellers a caffeine hit free of charge, and they are officially too pure for this world.

If you secured tickets to Chris Rock's gig in the 3Arena this month, you're no doubt absolutely buzzing.

But if you've already planned captions for your snaps and come up with a series of smug tweets to send throughout the gig, we have some disappointing news for you.

Chris Rock will not be allowing you to use your phone at any point during his performance on Saturday September 30.

According to a recent announcement, the 52-year-old comedian will be providing the audience with a Yondr Pouch in order to ensure that everyone in the arena is present and engaged on the night.

So, what is a Yondr Pouch exactly?

Well, the pouch allows phone signals to get through, so someone can feel a phone vibrate when a message arrives, but if you need access during the show, you may leave the room, have the device unlocked and use the phone in the lobby or outside — similar to the way smokers light up outside a non-smoking theatre.

Chris Rock has urged his fans to embrace Yondr and take one night off from being the paparazzo of your own life.

The comedian hopes his upcoming show will be a return to old school entertainment where the great memories of the night will remain in people’s minds and not on a cell phone.

Ladies, it's time to embrace it.

The 34-year-old is understood to have suffered a seizure in his hotel, before suffering a second at the hospital yesterday afternoon.

The Grammy-winner, who lives with epilepsy, has been hospitalised in the past due to his tendency to suffer from seizures.

Speaking in 2013, the rapper explained that his medical history has been checkered with seizures, saying: "This isn’t my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh seizure. I’ve had a bunch of seizures; y’all just never hear about it."

Lil Wayne, who is currently on tour with Rae Sremmund, was due to perform in Las Vegas last night.

We’re going to be honest here; we are self-confessed make-up junkies here at SHEmazing HQ.

From base and brows to liners and lip colours, it’s not often that the launch of a new product doesn’t manage to ignite a frisson of excitement.

As devoted customers of the cosmetics industry, we expect a lot of our products, and here are just 5 things we seek.

(Yes, we know some of them are totally unrealistic, but give us a break.)

1. Absolute compatibility

Sometimes a new product simply won’t be compatible with our skin tone and complexion – something most lip colour connoisseurs are all too familiar with.

Thankfully, that’s where wet n wild®  Mega Last Liquid Catsuit comes in.

The light formula offers precision, performance and intensely pigmented colour which doesn’t dry out your lips, and with seven – yes, seven – colours to choose from, you’re bound to find a shade which is made just for you.

2.  Smash-proof

Whether you’re gingerly applying lipstick at 7am in the morning or 1am on a night out, you’ll know it takes less than a second for the product to slip out of your hands and crack on the bathroom floor.

While we know we should be more careful, we’d appreciate if the packaging on our beloved products were… dare we say… fool-proof.

3. Total immortality

If you’ve ever felt personally victimised by a product which refused to last as long as you needed it to, you’re not alone.

Few of us have time to reapply our lip colour on a regular basis throughout the day, but with wet n wild®  Mega Last Liquid Catsuit you literally won’t have to.

4. Slick packaging

OK, we’re definitely pushing it on the packaging front, but there’s a lot to be said for a make-up bag filled to the brim with products worthy of an Instagram shoot.

We want a sleek design and a feminine touch, and if the range comes in a variety of different shades and tones like wet n wild®  Mega Last Liquid Catsuit, all the better.

5. Overall affordability

We admit we have high standards, so we’re not expecting to get everything our heart desires for next to nothing, but we do (for obvious reasons) favour brands which deliver on the quality front without bankrupting us.

And with Liquid Catsuit coming in at just €5, wet n wild®, we’re looking at you.

Rumours have been swirling for weeks, but this morning it was made official – Kate Middleton is, indeed, pregnant.

Kensington Palace has announced that Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge are set to welcome a third child into the family.

Taking to Twitter to share the news with the public, the Palace uploaded a photo of the royal couple, alongside a caption which has sent Twitter into meltdown this morning.

"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their third child," read the post.

In an official statement, Kensington Palace said: "Their Royal Highness The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their third child."

"The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news," the statement continued.

Offering an insight into Kate's curent condition, the Palace confirmed that the mother-of-two is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum, and will be taking time out of official duties.

"As with her previous two pregnancies, The Duchess is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum, Her Royal Highness will no longer carry out her planned engagement at the Hornsey Road Children's Centre in London today. The Duchess is being cared for at Kensington Palace."

For those of you who may not know, today is World Sexual Health Day.

With that in mind, sex and relationship expert, Tracy Cox, decided to share some of the benefits a roll in the hay can have on the mind and body.

From burning the same amount of calories as 15 minutes on a treadmill (approximately 200, fact fans) to increasing your lifespan, regular sex can have an incredibly positive impact on your life.

Tracy, who has her own range of sex toys with online retailer Lovehoney, is here to enlighten us as to why we should be indulging in more sex, and frankly, we're all ears.

Let's take a look at the benefits, shall we?

1. Regular sex can make you look five to seven years younger

Sex boosts the levels of a human's anti-ageing hormone DHEA (dehydroepiandrosterone) – a key factor in keeping us young.

After an orgasm, levels of DHEA in the blood rise to five times the normal level.

A study found that couples in their sixties who still have regular sex look between five and seven years younger than those no longer having sex.

2. You live longer

Regular sex (twice a week) has been linked to an increase of 3-8 years in a person's life-span.

3. Makes men more fertile

The quality of sperm improves when men have regular sex.

In fact, tests show that sperm quality lowers through abstinence, particularly after 10 days.

 4. Protects against colds

Having sex once or twice a week raises the level of immunoglobulins (IgA) in the body, increasing protection against colds and flu.

Couples who have regular sex have 30 per cent higher levels of IgA than abstainers.

5. Sex keeps you trim

Sex can keep you fit. Quickies of 20 minutes weekly mean 7,500 calories annually, that's as much as you burn jogging 120km. A sex session can burn about 200 calories.

Ladies, this is like running 15 minutes on a treadmill – just saying, is all.

  6. Makes you more attractive

The more active your sex life is, the more attractive for the opposite sex you are.

High sexual activity makes the body release more pheromones, chemicals that attract the opposite sex

7. Sex can cure PMT for women

Many women say they feels less pre-menstrual pain if they have intercourse before their cycle.

Muscle contraction that occurs during sexual arousal releases tension in the muscles of the uterus, which are responsible for menstrual pain.

Women who regularly have sex also have more regular periods. Sex contributes to more balanced hormone levels, including those that regulate the monthly cycle.

8. Wards off heart attacks

Studies have shown that regular sex can help prevent a heart attack.

Studies in Belfast showed that sex three times a week could halve the risk of a heart attack or stroke. A separate study found that women who had at least two orgasms a week were 30 per cent less likely to have heart disease than women who did not regularly have  sex.

While having sex, the heart rate goes from 70 beats per minute to 150, a good training for the heart. Having sex three times a week decreases the risk of heart attack by half. Also during sex, the breath is deeper, meaning  better oxygenation.

9. Relief for a stuffy nose

Sex is a natural antihistamine. It can even help combat hay fever and asthma.

 10. Flattens facial wrinkles

During sex the body significantly increases the production of estrogen, a hormone that tightens the skin and smooths fine lines on the face, and it's especially useful after menopause in women.

According to emerging reports, a second site in Galway, which was run by the Bon Secours nuns, is to be scanned for infant remains.

Building which is due to take place on the grounds of Grove Hospital will be postponed in order to facilitate an excavation.

The excavation will be conducted in a similar way to the one which was carried out at the Tuam Mother and Baby Home earlier this year.

As North Koreans applauded confirmation that the country had tested a hydrogen bomb meant for missiles, world leaders have weighed in on the announcement.

Cheers broke out around a large screen outside Pyongyang Station following the announcement this morning, with viewers being told: "We can now perfectly rely on our operational ability, and it is astonishing how greatly our nuclear weapons technology has progressed."

British Prime Minister, Theresa May, condemned North Korea's actions today.

"I discussed the serious and grave threat these dangerous and illegal actions present with President Abe in Japan this week and reiterate the call we jointly made for tougher action, including increasing the pace of implementation of existing sanctions and looking urgently in the UN Security Council at new measures," she said.

"This is now even more pressing. The international community has universally condemned this test and must come together to continue to increase the pressure on North Korea's leaders to stop their destabilising actions."

In a standard move by the President of the United States, Donald Trump, he took to Twitter to make his feelings for the announcement known.

"North Korea has conducted a major nuclear test. Their words and actions continue to be very hostile and dangerous to the United States," he told followers.

"North Korea is a rogue nation which has become a great threat and embarrassment to China, which is trying to help but with little success."

"South Korea is finding, as I have told them, that their talk of appeasement with North Korea will not work, they only understand one thing!" he added.

Trump's tweets have been liked more than 100,000 times since their upload this morning.

The test for the advanced hydrogen bomb reportedly set off a manmade earthquake which is understood to have been about 10 times more powerful than the one picked up after the nation’s last nuclear test last year.

Look, there's no doubting that engagement rings are a pricey business.

But much more important than their cost price is their sentimental value, as anyone who has placed a diamond on the ring finger of their left hand will attest.

So, when Amazon worker, Tatiana Fernandez, realised she had misplaced her's during a recent work shift, she was understandably devastated.

Despite enlisting the help of her colleagues and fiancé, Stuart, at the packing process in Scotland, the newly-engaged woman was unable to find the ring, and eventually had to admit defeat, and accept she was unlikely to see it again.

Until it turned up in the home of Stephanie Healiss 200 miles away, that is.

According to The Independent, Stephanie was taken aback to find the ring in a package of books she ordered from the international retailer, and was determined to reunite the jewellery with its owner.

"I was surprised, yes. I could tell the ring had a great deal of sentimental value and know from my own experience that things like that cannot be replaced," she said.

"That's when we decided to contact Amazon. I am so pleased it's been returned safely and wish Tatiana and Stuart all the very best for their wedding day," Stephanie added.

Tatiana could not be more grateful, saying: "When I realised I'd lost my engagement ring, I went through a range of emotions, from sadness to anger at myself for losing it. I honestly thought it had gone forever."

"When our leadership team got in touch to say a customer found it in their package, I couldn't believe my luck. It's such a relief to get my ring back and I'd like to say a heartfelt thank you to our kind customer for returning the ring to me."

And that, ladies, is your heartwarming tale for today.

What images spring to mind when you envision a pair of Christian Louboutins?

If the iconic red sole is top of your list, you're not alone.

Like the structure of an Hermes Birkin bag or the cut and flow of a Diane Von Furstenberg wrap dress, there are some pieces most of us could recognise a mile off, and a pair of sky-high Loubotuins is among them.

Renowned for their scarlet sole, Louboutins are instantly recognisable, but where did the inspiration come from?

In his book Rizzoli, the designer reveals all, and unfortunately it's not as captivating a story as we might have hoped.

Having taken a bottle of nail polish from his assistant, Christian decided to coat the underside of a shoe in the scarlet varnish.

According to Marie Claire,  the French designer was so impressed by the result, he decided that every shoe he created from then on would sport the same scarlet sole.

The signature look remains one of the most iconic of the 20th century, but we kind of just wish the back-story was a little…well… more fabulous.

On Thursday morning, news broke that a man, who had been sleeping rough just yards from Dublin's most affluent shopping street, had been found dead.

Jack Watson, who had been a resident of Apollo House late last year, was found outside the Superdry store on Suffolk Street in the early hours of the morning, and was transferred to St James Hospital.

Jack's death, and the two which followed in Co Kildare and Co Cork just days after, has, understandably, devastated charities who seek to help the vulnerable in our nation's cities.

Taking to Facebook in the aftermath of Jack's passing, charity, Hope in the Darkness, articulated its anger, and paid a moving tribute to a man who was 'simply down on his luck.'

"Sadness is far from the only emotion being felt, we are angry!" began the post which has amassed considerable traction over the weekend.

"Angry that our fellow human beings are being forced to sleep out on the streets because there is either no emergency beds available or the beds being offered are unsuitable. 206 rough sleepers were counted the other night."

"This is unacceptable on so many levels. The powers that be will lead everyone to believe there's a bed available on any given night for anyone who rings the freephone. Take it from us this is lies!"

"Many a night we leave the GPO and say goodnight to our pals after witnessing them being denied a bed. Off they go to pick a doorway to bed down in, lay down their bit of cardboard, roll out their sleeping bag and stash their worldly goods down the bottom of it in the hope they won't be stolen."

"Imagine closing your eyes and trying to drift off to sleep, but worrying will you be left in peace for a few hours to rest your weary body or will you be kicked, pissed on, set on fire or sexually assaulted tonight. This is the sad reality of life on the streets for an ever increasing number of people each night."

Desperate to illustrate the reality of the homelessness crisis in Dublin, the people behind Hope in the Darkness, continued: "For those who get offered an emergency bed it's like playing Russian Roulette with your personal safety – often your sobriety can be compromised."

"The hostels are rampant with drug use. To anyone fresh out of treatment or working a programme taking a bed in a hostel could quite literally mean life or death. Watching someone else using drugs can be too much of a temptation at times and cause them to relapse/slip. Safe drug free well monitored beds are needed and needed fast!"

Reflecting on Jack's tragic passing, the charity sought to remove the perception the general public may have of the homeless they now see on a daily basis.

"Jack was not a drug user, just a man down on his luck as can happen to anyone of us at any time in our lives. His sleeping bag became his body bag," they wrote.

"A gentleman and talented chef who cooked up a storm for residents and volunteers alike as he spent Christmas safe off the streets in Apollo House."

"Would he still be alive if Apollo House were still up and running, I believe so. You now have a forever bed in heaven Jack."

The powerful post has been liked and shared hundreds of times, with social media users deriding the government for its approach to the homeless and vulnerable in our capital city.

"Disgraceful that this has happened, the country is falling on its knees and the government don't CARE," wrote one while another added: "People cannot afford to live and the government don't care and there will be another economic crash."

If you want to assist with the work Hope in the Darkness do for the capital's homeless and vulnerable, keep an eye on their Facebook page for upcoming events including food drives and sleepovers.
