Sorry ladies, but it looks like Kit Harrington is officially off the market.

The 30-year-old reportedly proposed to his Game of Thrones co-star, Rose Leslie, shortly after the pair bought their first house together.

Having began their romance as characters Jon Snow and Ygritte, the couple took their relationship off-screen in 2012.

Speaking about their rumoured engagement, a source told The Sun: "They're yet to set a date, but told friends and family last week that they've got engaged."

"Kit's known for ages he's wanted to marry Rose but he wanted them to get a house and settle down a bit first."

"After moving in together in January he felt it was the right time to take the next step," the source added.

The news come after the couple denied engagement rumours in July this year, when a rep quit clearly told Metro.co.uk “They are not engaged.”

Speaking about his relationship with Rose at the season seven premiere for Game Of Thrones Kit said:

“I think that's the really special thing about it is that we met on this show and here we are seven years down the line back here promoting season seven.”

“I mean it's mad. It's such a special thing. I'm so privileged,” he added.

And while these guys are obviously super in love and deserve all the happiness in the world (blah, blah, blah), there's a little part of us that is completely devastated.

It's been just over two months since Linkin Park frontman, Chester Bennington, took his own life at his home in Palos Verdes Estates in California.

And as his fans and followers come to terms with the singer's passing, his family, friends and former bandmates have done their utmost to remind the public of the person behind the chart-topping songs and albums.

Taking to Twitter this week, Linkin Park shared backstage footage of the 41-year-old during a lighthearted moment, writing: "Cherishing all the times Chester made us laugh. Taking a look back at some of our favourite LPTV moments."

The short clip has amassed a huge response, with social media users paying tribute to the father-of-six in the aftermath of his death this summer.

"I’ve been doing the same thing! Watching made me smile/laugh. Grateful we have these moments," responded one fan to the band's poignant post.

"What a guy. Chester was one of a kind, and things like this will live on forever!" added another.

Recently, Chester's wife, Talinda Bennington, shared a video of her late husband just 36 hours before his death – footage which showed the singer in high spirits as he relaxed with his family.

Reminding the public that people who suffer from depression often do so in silence, writing: "This is what depression looked like to us just 36 hrs b4 his death. He loved us SO much & we loved him." (sic)

The band's upload last night has amassed more than 30,000 likes so far.

Fine Gael TD Bernard Durkan has defended his comments on the morning after pill which he made last week.

The TD faced criticism for his remark, which was made at a meeting of the Oireachtas Committee discussing the Eighth Amendment.

When discussing the morning after pill, Mr Durkan said:

'With regard to rape and incest, presumably rape is reported on the day or the day after and there is particular treatment fairly readily available.'

This led to mass criticism, as many people felt that Mr Durkan was uneducated on the topic of sexual assault, as victims often feel unable to come forward straight away (or ever) to report being raped for various reasons.

According to The Irish Independent, Mr Durkan last night stood by his remarks.

'He said he knows that many rape victims don't report their experience immediately and insisted he wasn't suggesting the morning-after pill was the solution,' according to The Irish Independent.

He reportedly said that it was his job as a committee member to ask questions that he felt the public may not know, and that this comment was not reflective of his own thoughts on the matter.

Most of us have a morning routine.

Some involve a mini heart attack, a frantic search for keys and a mad dash for the door.

Others include an invigorating shower, a leisurely breakfast and a brisk stroll to the Luas.

No matter which camp you fall into, a recent survey suggests you’d certainly be in the minority if your morning routine includes taking a folic acid tablet.

According to research conducted by safefood, 80 per cent of women check their social media as part of their routine while just 25 per cent include folic acid in theirs.

Commenting on the study’s findings, Dr Marian O’Reilly Chief Specialist in Nutrition with safefood said she was pleased by women’s focus on healthy breakfasts and regular dental hygiene, but stressed the importance of including folic acid in the morning routine.

“It’s great to see that over 70 per cent of Irish women report starting their day with a healthy breakfast and 95 per cent brush their teeth every morning. What we want women to do is to take on a new healthy habit – take a daily 400 microgram folic acid supplement – it’s even easier than brushing your teeth and takes only seconds to do.”

“Folic acid prevents most neural tube defects like spina bifida in the first few weeks of pregnancy at a time when most women are unaware they’re pregnant. With 50 per cent of all pregnancies unplanned, taking folic every morning gets you into a healthy habit, even if a baby is the last thing on your mind.”

Urging women to consider including the element in their daily routine, Dr. Aileen McGloin, Communications Manager, Digital and Health at safefood, said: “Almost half the women in our survey said the best way to create a new healthy habit is to be prepared.”

“With folic acid, keep it near your toothbrush, beside your bed or somewhere that will remind you to take it as part of your morning routine,“ she added. “Setting a reminder on your phone or committing to a new habit were also mentioned by women as successful ways to create a new habit.”

This Saturday, thousands of women will march from the Garden of Remembrance to Dáil Éireann in this year's March for Choice.

Many of them will be donning their Repeal jumpers with pride to utilise their outerwear as a form of political statement.

Repeal jumpers have been off the market for a number of months, but the demand for them continues (so much so, that a number of months ago, SHEmazing uncovered a black market producing fake jumpers).

A post shared by Repeal Project (@repealproject) on

Aside from a Repeal pop-up in Nine Crows last December, the jumpers have been notoriously tricky to get ahold of since last summer.

Now, the Repeal Project have announced that on the morning of the march, a limited number of the now iconic black slogan jumper's will be available.

The proceeds from the sales go to The Abortion Rights Campaign Ireland, making them the ideal way to both visually and financially show your support for the cause.

The pop-up will be held at Indigo & Cloth, where the jumpers were originally sold.

They will also be selling Repeal necklaces at the pop-up.

According to an Instagram post, the Repeal Project will completely relaunch this October.

The Cabinet will meet today to discuss the possibility of holding up to eight referendums over the next 18 months.

RTÉ reports that a number of potential referendums will be considered today, with the aim for them to be called by the summer of 2019.

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar will present the potential referendums to the cabinet.

These include a referendum on the Eighth Amendment, which has been heavily called for by the public over the last 12 months

This referendum may be held as soon as next May or June, according to RTÉ.

These referendums could also include polls on whether to reduce the voting age to 16.

With so many referendums on the horizon, now would be the time to register to vote, if you haven't already.

Yesterday, North Korea's foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho claimed that the USA had declared war on the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

'Since the United States declared war on our country, we will have every right to make all self-defensive counter measures, including the right to shoot down the United States strategic bombers at any time even when they are not yet inside the aerospace border of our country' he said at a New York press conference.

The USA have responded to these statements this morning.

'We've not declared war on North Korea,' White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders told RTÉ

'Frankly, the suggestion of that is absurd.'

A pentagon spokesperson said that the US military 'will take all options to make sure that we safeguard our allies and our partners and our homeland so if North Korea does not stop their provocative actions we'll make sure we provide options to the President to deal with North Korea," according to CNN.

Speaking at a UN General Assembly last week, POTUS Donald Trump said: 'We will have no choice than to totally destroy North Korea.'
