Donald Trump was named Time Magazine's Person of the Year last year, after his unprecedented win over Hillary Clinton in the US Presidential election.

However, it seems that this year, the title will be going to someone else, as Trump claims that he turned down the offer.

Taking to Twitter, the POTUS wrote:

'Time Magazine called to say that I was PROBABLY going to be named “Man (Person) of the Year,” like last year, but I would have to agree to an interview and a major photo shoot.'

'I said probably is no good and took a pass. Thanks anyway!'

However, Time Magazine has clapped back, saying that he was never formally offered the title.

According to a statement made on their Twitter page, the magazine maintains that they do not contact the Person of The Year until the copy has gone to print, which in this case will be December 6.

Trump was passed over for thr title in 2015, when the iconic magazine chose German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

Trump seemed quite bothered by this at the time, saying:

'I told you @TIME Magazine would never pick me as person of the year despite being the big favorite.'

'They picked [the] person who is ruining Germany.'

Kim Karashian is one of the many celebrities who has spoken out in defence of Cynotia Brown.

Brown was convicted of murder after the sex-trafficking survivor shot a man after he purchased her services for sex after being advertised by a pimp ominously called 'Cut-Throat.'

Kim, along with Nicki Minaj and Rihanna, have called attention to her case.

'The system has failed. It’s heart breaking to see a young girl sex trafficked then when she has the courage to fight back is jailed for life! We have to do better & do what’s right,' Kim tweeted earlier this week.

'I’ve called my attorneys yesterday to see what can be done to fix this.'

Now, according to Daily News, the reality TV queen is doing just that.

It seems that Kim will also be helping 62-year-old Alice Johnson, who is serving a life sentence for a drug trafficking charge.

'Kim asked me several weeks ago how she could help Alice Johnson in her fight for justice,' said Kim's lawyer Shawn Holley.

'We then began corresponding with Alice and her team of lawyers,' Holley told the Daily News.

'Since then, Kim has championed the cause of Cyntoia Brown and asked me to help her get involved in that effort as well,'

If you're anything like us, you've been glued to this season of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here,

One of our favourite contestants has got to be Toff, or Georgia Toffolo.

The Made In Chelsea star has been keeping us seriously entertained with her one-liners, but Twitter has been consistently pointing out something about the star.

Celebs generally arent allowed to wear makeup in the jungle, but Toff has been wearing concealer and foundation since entering the show.

People have been wondering how this is allowed, and we finally have an answer.

A source told The Sun that Toff is allowed to have a contraband concealer on medical grounds.

A post shared by Georgia Toffolo (@toffgeorgia) on

'Georgia has always had problems with her skin, but her treatment is sun sensitive so she's unable to use it in the jungle,' said the source.

'She's been allowed access to concealer on medical grounds.'

'It's annoyed other female campmates who are jealous,' they finished.

There is no worse feeling than having to stand on a packed train home from work or off to visit another county.

Your feet hurt, people are bumping in to you and nudging past you, and every time the train lurches you feel like your legs might go from under you as you try to juggle all your bags. Now imagine dealing with that while growing a new human.

The National Transport Authority reported that Irish Rail saw passenger numbers increase by 7.9 percent during 2016, and we can certainly feel that when we're on a jammed train.

While there are posters on trains telling people to give up their seats for pregnant women, people don’t always abide by the campaign.

It can also be incredibly awkward asking someone to give up their seat for you. All in all, it's not an ideal situation.

The Irish Times reports that Irish Rail is introducing ‘baby on board’ badges for expecting mums to wear, in the hope that they will eliminate awkwardness and ensure that pregnant women have comfortable train journeys.

The use of ‘baby on board’ badges has already worked on the London tube, and it sounds like a pretty nifty idea to us.

'Commuting by its nature, particularly in the morning and evening peak, is busy, with high demand on our services, including Dart and Commuter trains.'

'However, it should still be an environment where we all show consideration for others, a spokesperson for Irish Rail said to the Irish Times.

They continued, 'We hope the ‘baby on board’ badge will make commuting easier for mums-to-be, and make it easier for others to offer them assistance.'

'Already we’re seeing strong interest from pregnant women and, indeed, their partners, who are emailing us to get badges for their commute.'

If you are interested, email your name and address to babybadges@irishrail.ie.

We all know that Donald Trump is a big fan of walls, so we're sure he would only be delighted to know that he has been immortalised on one in Dublin's fair city.

Artist collective Subset have created an impeccably realistic image of the POTUS, donning a MAGA hat.

However, rather than saying 'Make America Great Again,' the hat reads 'Make Dublin Grey Again.'

A post shared by SUBSET (@subsetdublin) on

While some may find the subject questionable, there's no doubt that the artwork is impressive, and not without a message.

Subset are responsible for many of the beautiful works of street art Dubliners are lucky enough to encounter on the daily.

Remember that epic Stormzy mural down in Smithfield? You can thank Subset for that.

A post shared by SUBSET (@subsetdublin) on

The street art group have been fighting a long battle with Dublin City Council, who continue to paint over their art.

The council calls the art 'unauthorised developments,' and says that the work is a breach of city planning.

The 'Make Dublin Grey Again' slogan might just be a cheeky statement to the City Council, who cover their vibrant, culturally aware and intricate work with dull, grey paint.

Donald Trump has taken to Twitter (surprise surprise) to renew his vehemence for a border wall.

Citing the Eqyptian mosque attack, which killed over 200 people in the al-Rawda mosque in the town of Bir al-Abed, Trump used the attack to promote the construction of a border wall between the US and Mexico, and to promote the travel ban.

Trump said he would speak with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi later that day.

'Will be calling the President of Egypt in a short while to discuss the tragic terrorist attack, with so much loss of life;' he said.

'We have to get TOUGHER AND SMARTER than ever before, and we will.'

'Need the WALL, need the BAN! God bless the people of Egypt.'

The attack was one of the deadliest in Egyptian history. So far, no signal organisation has claimed responsibility for the attack.

Trump has previously used similar attacks to promote his proposals.

After the attack in London's Parsons Green, the POTUS said:

'The travel ban into the United States should be far larger, tougher and more specific – but stupidly, that would not be politically correct.'
