Guys, how exciting does this sound?

Celebrities have collaborated with Interiors store Goat in the Boat to create an art exhibition in aid of Focus Ireland, who works closely with people who are homeless or at risk of losing their homes.

Sinead Price, Co-Director of Fundraising, Focus Ireland said “With Christmas fast approaching, the reality is there is a record number of homeless children, almost 40% of the total homeless figure.

This exhibition will help to make a difference to the 3,124 children who do not have a place to call home, and their families. Many people around North County Dublin and beyond are supporting this Exhibition and Auction, and our front line services in a variety of ways. We in Focus Ireland say a sincere thank you. It is very much appreciated.”

Focus Ireland believes that everyone has a right to a place they can call home, and we are completely with them. With 8,374 men, women and children homeless, Goat in the Boat collaborated with celebrities to raise funds for Focus Ireland. Celebrities met the challenge to paint creations inspired by what home means to them, influenced in no small part by the work of Focus Ireland, and their Mission statement.

Bespoke paintings for this event have been created by the first lady of Celtic Music Moya Brennan, Dragon’s Den star Alison Cowzer, Model and Health and Wellness coach Alison Canavan, one of Ireland’s finest Sculptors Orla De Bri, TV Personality and Publisher Norah Casey, Former TD & Minister of State Liz O’Donnell, Entrepreneur Jackie Lavin, Businessman Bill Cullen, TV Presenter and Author Lorraine Keane, Peter Devlin from the Devlin’s, Journalist and recent participant on Celebrity Operation Transformation Triona McCarthy, Beauty Expert Laura Bermingham, Rugby Pundit Brent Pope, award winning blogger turned businesswoman Suzanne Jackson (SoSueMe), to name but a few.

Focus Ireland is driven by the fundamental belief that homelessness is wrong. Wrong because it is a failure of society that creates victims out of ordinary people and robs them of their potential. Wrong because it can be prevented it can be solved but is allowed to continue and in doing so undermines society. We need to challenge our society to think and act differently.

Jessica Nealon, Director, Goat in the Boat, said “Running an Interiors store, we witness the effort, care and love that customers have for their homes.

We are extremely conscious that increasing numbers of individuals and families do not have a place to call home. As numbers of homeless continues to rise we decided to host an awareness & fundraising Initiative for Focus Ireland.  Focus Ireland offers an invaluable service to the community and we are honoured to be able to help in a small way their important work.   We would like to thank the celebrities and Focus Ireland for their input and collaboration.”

If you are unable to attend the event on Wednesday 29th of November, but would like to donate to Focus Ireland, you can at the following link: https://www.focusireland.ie/donate/from/cmasweb/

Sure, what else would you be doing on a Wednesday evening?

Mount Agung has sat quietly for over fifty years overlooking the resort island of Bali in Indonesia.

The wanderlust's dream location has been under threat from the active volcano since it began to give warning signs that an eruption may be imminent.

Last night, those warnings came to a head, as the peak of the volcano began to spew plumes of noxious smoke into the air.

Settlements, which lie in the shadow of the mountain, have abandoned their homes in search of safety as the threat of an eruption continues.

Mount Agung last erupted in 1963, killing almost 1,600 individuals.

Up to 140,000 people are believed to have fled from the areas surrounding the simmering volcano, according to reports.

'Yesterday there was smoke and steam as high as 700 metres, and last night there were tremors for quite a while – around three hours,' the head of Indonesia’s volcanology centre told AFP.

'The mountain continues to spew smoke, but there hasn’t been any big eruption so far.'

The volcano has been rumbling intermittently for a number of months.

Indonesia is located on the Pacific Ring of Fire, and area of high volcanic and earthquake activity due to active tectonic plates beneath the earth's surface.

Indonesian volcanoes are some of the most active on the Ring.

Tourists have not yet been warned to avoid the area and flights are continuing to run to and from the island.

I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here kicked off with quite a bang this year, as the celebs were teamed up into pairs to take on their first challenge en route to camp.

YouTuber Jack Maynard and MIC veteran Georgia 'Toff' Toffolo seemed like a match made in heaven, and took on their first hair-raising challenge valiantly.

However, Toff has been left partner-less after Jack's dramatic exit from the show a mere three days after it began.

A post shared by Jack Maynard (@jack_maynard) on

The vlogger (and brother to singer Conor Maynard, don't you know) left the show and jetted out of Australia after facing criticism for a number of tweets he made previously.

The tweets were seen as racist and homophobic as they contained both the N-word and the word fa****.

Since entering the show, naked photos of the YouTuber, who has over 1.2 million YouTube subscribers, have been leaked online.

A post shared by Jack Maynard (@jack_maynard) on

The first images shows the online content creator posing in front of the mirror with his trousers down. The second appears to have been taken by another person, which shows Jack fully nude wearing a cowboy hat.

Jack's agent released a statement to The Mirror, saying: 'In the last few days Jack Maynard has been the subject of a succession of media stories which, given his position as a contestant on I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here – filmed in the Australian jungle, with no contact with the outside world, he has been unable to respond to.'

'Since it is only fair that everyone should be aware of any allegations made against them and should also have the right to defend themselves, it was agreed that it would be better to bring him out of the show.'

'Jack agrees with this decision which was made by his representatives and ITV and thanks everyone who has supported him in the show this far.'

The only survivor was four-month-old Rionaghach-Ann.

She was saved when Davitt Walsh bravely swam out to the sinking car in an effort to rescue those trapped inside.

The inquest aims to obtain better understanding of what happened that day.

This morning, the court will hear from those who witnessed what happened.

St Patrick's Mental Health Services has confirmed it has received a formal complaint about comedian and broadcaster, Al Porter.

The news comes following a string of allegations made against the 24-year-old claiming that he acted inappropriately towards a number of fellow comedians at various events over the past five years.

The Dublin hospital had previously denied that the accused had acted inappropriately during a visit with a charity after the alleged incident was reported in The Sunday Times.

However, in a statement this evening, the organisation said that "since issuing that press release, SPMHS has received such a complaint."

"The organisation is currently investigating the complaint in line with its policies and procedures."

In the wake of the allegations made against him, Al has resigned from his position at Today FM and has stepped aside from his role in the Olympia panto.

In a statement issued over the weekend, the comedian claimed that his conduct was “in keeping with [his] flamboyant and outrageous public persona.”

"Up until now, I had been unaware of these complaints or the impact of my conduct and I am truly sorry for any distress I may have caused in what I had regarded as light-hearted and good-natured circumstances," he wrote.

His apology has since been branded as "insulting" by his accusers.

Ahead of Nelly's sold-out performances at Dublin's Vicar Street this week, the US rapper took some time to check out what the telly box has to offer on this side of the pond.

The Hot in Herre singer, who was spotted indulging in a little retail therapy on Grafton Street yesterday, took to Instagram to share his thoughts on the Channel 4's controversial dating show, Naked Attraction.

For those of you unfamiliar with the programme, it's format allows contestants to choose partners based entirely on how they look naked.

Confused? You're not the only one.

In a video posted last night, Nelly gave his followers a little taster of what television looks like in this part of the world.

Dublin TV..!!!!!..!!! It's called " NAKED ATTRACTION "..!!!

A post shared by NELLY (@derrtymo) on

"I'm in Ireland. I'm watching a game show, this is on regular TV y'all. This man is picking the woman he wants to be with based on her body. He's not seeing her face, there's none of that," he said.

"Now this ain't no special channel. I ain't clicked on no freaky s**t. This is straight television y'all."

Nelly isn't the first American star to be baffled by the show's bizarre format, with Chissy Teigen famously live-tweeting the show during a trip to London earlier this year.

Guy, we swear, we're just as confused as you are.

Available for download on Apple iOS devices, this fun and exciting app allows users to support the charity's tremendous work by sharing a range of adorable Petmojis with their family and friends.

Developed in association with Banshee Apps, the ISPCA say they were delighted when the company's founder approached them with the idea.

Speaking about his desire to work with the charity, Adrian Parkes said: “With smartphones becoming almost universal and emoji’s becoming a second language, it’s very much part of our day-to-day digital conversations.  I admire the work of the ISPCA and I wanted to help out in a fun and creative way.”

ISPCA Ambassador Holly White and Fair City actress Aoibheann McCaul called on all animal lovers to support such a worthy cause.

The ISPCA rely heavily on fundraising to keep their services up and running, with 88 per cent of the charity's funding coming from public donations.

Banshee Apps hope to raise €10,000 for the ISPCA through 10,000 downloads of the Petmoji App.
