Earlier today, we reported on Kristina Cohen's Facebook post in which she alleges she was sexually assaulted by Gossip Girl actor, Ed Westwick, three years ago.

In a lengthy and hugely detailed account, the actress recalls being held down and raped by the British actor after he digitally penetrated her without her consent in his apartment.

'I told him to stop, but he was strong. I fought him off as hard as I could but he grabbed my face in his hands, shaking me, telling me he wanted to f*ck me,' 27-year-old Kristina wrote.

The post has been widely circulated today, and social media users were quick to use Twitter as a platform to express their thoughts on Kristina's accusations.

Opinion on the post is divided, with some insisting that Kristina's decision to come forward guarantees Westwick will endure a trial by media while others have shown support for the American actress.

For every one tweet supporting Kristina, there is another reminding the public that the issue is a matter for the judicial system.

The actor's Wikipedia page has been edited constantly throughout the day, with contributors branding him 'a rapist' in his biography before others revert it to its original form.

A Daily Mail journalist has come under fire after she condemned the women who have spoken out about sexual harassment in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein scandal.

Speaking as part of a panel on Channel 4 News, Dame Ann Leslie said women who report incidents of inappropriate sexual behaviour “can’t have it both ways.”

Shockingly, the controversial comments came after Ann revealed that she had been asexually assaulted by the late politician, Nicholas Fairburn.

The journalist told how the former Tory MP, who died in 1995, placed his hand on her crotch during a joint appearance on an episode of BBC Radio 4's Any Questions.

“However, what I don’t like about what’s going on now is feminists have been trying all the time to say ‘oh my goodness, women must be in power, they must be strong, they will be strong’,” she said on the programme.

“They seem to spend their time now saying women are traumatised because some some silly old drunk in Parliament put his hand on her knee or anything like that. You can’t have it both ways.”

“You can't say women are strong and empowered and then say they're scared and they're going to cry and all that sort of thing.”

Her comments have been widely condemned by feminist groups across the UK with some accusing her of trivialising and dismissing the seriousness of these types of allegations.

Ann also made the ridiculous claims that women in the UK believe they “should scream and say ‘rape coming up’” if they are touched on the arm – to which fellow panellist, Guru-Murthy replied: “They don’t scream and say rape, they say stop treating me like a sexual object.”

Outraged viewers have taken to social media to stand up for the many women whose voices were belittled by the journalist's comments.

Over the past few years, retailers have seriously upped their games when it come to Christmas advertising campaigns – and this year is no different.

Marks and Spencer has just released its 2017 Christmas advert, starring none other than everyone's favourite marmalade-loving Peruvian, Paddington Bear.

Focused around a case of mistaken identity, the heartwarming clip follows Paddington as he accompanies a burglar around his neighbourhood, after he mistakes him for the real Santa.

Together, the unlikely pair make their way across the London suburbs, returning gifts before morning strikes.

Between sleigh rides and mince pies, the duo eventually manage to deliver all the presents back to their rightful owners, and even manage to to witness the joy on the faces of one family as they discover what Santa has left.

In the end, the thief realises the error of his ways and graciously accepts Paddington's gift of a marmalade sandwich – (spoiler: this is when the tears roll in).

The 90-second advert coincides with the release of Paddington 2, which is set to hit Irish cinemas this Friday, November 10.

Lily Allen will reflect on her life both in and out of the public eye in a tell-all memoir due for release next year.

Always one to wear her heart on her sleeve, the British singer has previously opened up about her struggles with drug abuse, body image, and how she managed to cope after suffering two tragic miscarriages.

According to reports, the 32-year-old has signed a deal to publish her yet-to-be-titled autobiography with Bonnier Publishing imprint Blink.

Touching on everything from her rebellious youth to eating disorders and separation, Lily has warned that the book "might be uncomfortable and shocking and brutal" in parts.

A post shared by Lily (@lilyallen) on

“There will be good stuff in there too; happy times. I will try and make it funny. I know it’s about me but I hope that a lot of it will ring true with anyone who reads it. It won’t be written with shame. It will be true,” she said in a statement.

Blink managing director Ben Dunn adds: “A book like this doesn't come along very often. We were completely blown away by the proposal and sample material. It will not only appeal to her generation and fans of her music, but speaks to a wider polemic about the issues society faces today.”

Fans of the songstress have taken to Twitter to express their excitement:

We can't wait to give this a read.

The Irish Government has announced plans to propose a levy on disposable coffee cups.

For the privilege of tossing your paper cup in the trash, you can expect to pay up to 15cent more per cup than before under the potential measures.

The cafe sector creates a huge amount of waste through coffee cups, lids, stirrers and sachets, and up to 2 million coffee cups end up in Irish landfills every single day.

A post shared by Coffeeangel (@coffeeangel) on

One cafe with big plans to combat the massive waste is Dublin coffee connoisseur Coffeeangel.

Coffeeangel believes the most effective way to tackle the cafe industry’s waste issue is by raising awareness and encouraging the use of reusable cups.

The coffee concept has teamed up with Friends of the Earth to create the KeepCup – a reusable coffee mug with a difference.

The Keepcup comes in at €18.00, a little pricey for a mug, but it's the gift that keeps on giving – literally.

Every time a Coffeeangel customer uses their Keepcup, the cafe will donate 20 cent of the order to Friends of the Earth.

The money will go towards helping to support local environmental initiatives.

'It is impossible to ignore the impact the human race is having on our environment, and whilst the challenges and changes required are immense, we wholeheartedly believe that through the power of small, personal initiatives we can help make a difference,' said Caroline Sleiman, Director at Coffeeangel.

'That is why we have decided to donate 20¢ to Friends of the Earth Ireland, on behalf of our customers, from every Coffeeangel coffee served in a reusable KeepCup as part of our new ‘Your Cup Our Future’ initiative.'

'We explored more conventional incentives for reuse, such as giving 20¢ off a purchase, but we believe our customers are as concerned about environmental issues as we are and want to create bigger impact with their purchasing decisions.'

Sounds pretty environmentally savvy to us.

There are some things in life that just shouldn't be messed with – your morning coffee, that mandatory hangover spice bag, and above all else, that little jar of goodness that is Nutella.

Whether you prefer yours spread on toast, dolloped on ice-cream, or hey, let's be real, straight from the jar – there are many ways to enjoy this magical creation.

It's versatile, delicious, and perfect just the way it is.

Which is why we were horrified to discover that the creators of the popular hazelnut spread have gone and changed the recipe with no warning whatsoever.

The new recipe includes an increased amount of powdered skimmed milk and sugar, which depending on the size of your sweet tooth, could be a good or a bad thing.

A spokesperson from Ferrero, Nutella's parent company assured customers that the new changes were not a cause for concern.

“The quality … and all the other characteristics of Nutella remain the same.”

However, it's been reported that the new-recipe jars contain a spread that is lighter in colour, which has led many concerned chocolate-lovers to believe that cacao levels have been sacrificed.

Needless to say, the change has sparked outrage across Twitter, and quite frankly, we feel their pain.

It's not broken; don't fix it!

Warning: Stranger Things 2 spoilers ahead!

At the very end of the new season of Stranger Things, new girl Max (Sadie Sink) shares a kiss with Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) at the school’s Snow Ball dance.

However, it turns out that Sadie was not enthused about the unscripted kiss.

In an interview recently, it was revealed that as a joke, one of the show’s creators, Ross Duffer, had asked Sadie if she was ready for the kiss with Caleb.

A post shared by Sadie Sink (@sadiesink_) on

The 15-year-old actress said she was stressed out all day about the impending kiss as it had not been in the script.

33-year-old Ross said to Sadie in the interview: 'You reacted so strongly to this, I was just joking … you were just so freaked out that I was like, well I gotta make her do it now.'

The Stranger Things creator called the kiss Sadie’s ‘fault’ because if it were not for her intense reaction, he wouldn't have insisted on the kiss happening.

16-year-old Caleb also shared that it was his first kiss.

A post shared by Sadie Sink (@sadiesink_) on

Fans took to Twitter, incensed at the director’s desire to pressure Sadie into doing something that clearly made her uncomfortable.

'I’m all for Stranger Things but the Duffer Brothers pushing a child actor to do an unscripted kiss has left me a little shook,' one fan tweeted.

Actress and producer Dani Kind sympathised with the young actress, saying, “This happens on sets all the time. Being presented with a ‘script change’.

'Call it what you will, it’s not OK. Enough.'

When it comes to trolling, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are absolute pros.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2012, are less about the public declarations of love, and more interested in getting straight-up savage with one another… much to the delight of their millions of fans.

We mean, who could forget Blake's Ryan Gosling-inspired birthday message to her other half?!

And while they're often neck and neck in the savagery stakes, Ryan recently stormed ahead after choosing to share an image of Blake on-set in the Irish capital.

As countless media outlets mentioned this week, the actress wasn't looking as polished as normal (that's acting for ya, right?), but Ryan saw his chance and ran with it.

"You guys are too funny," wrote one Irish fan while another follower added: "Relationship goals."

Blake, your move.

Trigger Warning: This article contains descriptions of rape and sexual assault.

Actress Kristina Cohen has accused Gossip Girl actor Ed Westwick of rape.

Kristina wrote an extensive post about her alleged experience on Facebook last night.

Kristina detailed that the assault allegedly happened while she was dating a producer who was friends with Westwick, and claims that the rape occurred at the actor's home three years ago.

'It was this producer who brought me up to Ed’s house where I met Ed for the first time. I wanted to leave when Ed suggested “we should all f*ck”. But the producer didn’t want to make Ed feel awkward by leaving,' she wrote in the post.

'Ed suggested I nap in the guest bedroom. The producer said we would stay for just another 20 more minutes to smooth everything over, and then we could leave.'

'I went and laid down in the guest room where I eventually fell asleep, I was woken up abruptly by Ed on top of me, his fingers entering my body.'

A post shared by Ed Westwick (@edwestwick) on

'I told him to stop, but he was strong. I fought him off as hard as I could but he grabbed my face in his hands, shaking me, telling me he wanted to f*ck me,' she continued.

'I was paralysed, terrified. I couldn’t speak, I could no longer move.

'He held me down and raped me,' she claimed.

Kristina also detailed the guilt she felt after the incident, and how she was told by her boyfriend at the time that she didn't want to be known as 'that girl.'

'The producer put the blame on me, telling me I was an active participant,' she claimed.

'Telling me that I can’t say anything because Ed will have people come after me, destroy me, and that I could forget about an acting career.'

'Social conditioning that everything is always the woman’s fault?'

'That a man’s inability to keep himself off of our bodies is somehow because of us, not him?'

Kristina felt that she had to speak up and describe what happened to her after the recent outpouring of sexual assault claims in Hollywood.

'Men like Ed using fame and power to rape and intimidate but then continue through the world collecting accolades.'

'I hope that my stories and the stories of others help to reset and realign the toxic environments and power imbalances that have created these monsters,' she finished her online testimonial.

Westwick has not yet commented on the alleged assault.

Unlike the vast majority of toys that littered our bedroom floor as children, LEGO is one of the few items which managed to follow its way into our adult life.

Whether your partner is still a die-hard LEGO fan or you’re a dab hand at it yourself, few of us would bat an eyelid if we were to spot a perfectly constructed masterpiece in the corner of our mate’s living room.

With that in mind, it’s hardly surprising that SHEmazing HQ went into meltdown when we learned you can actually spend a night in Denmark’s LEGO house as part of an amazing collaboration between LEGO and Airbnb.

That’s right, ladies, for one night, the newly opened LEGO House in Billund will become your own private playground… as long as you strike it lucky in the competition, that is!

By wowing the judges with an insight into your own LEGO-inspired ideas, the lucky winners will get to stay overnight at LEGO House on November 24.

And what would that entail exactly?

Well, first off you will be greeted by Jamie who will welcome you into their home for the night.

You will enjoy lunch where you will be tasked with building your order out of LEGO bricks before it’s sent to the kitchen to be made into real food and served by two friendly robot waiters.

After lunch, the house will close to the general public leaving it empty and ready for you to run through the rooms, explore and play under the expert guidance of Jamie.

From the Tree of Creativity, built by hand from over 6 million bricks, to the Masterpiece Gallery, showcasing LEGO creations from fans from around the world, this, among many, many other features, has to be seen to be believed.

As the adventure comes to an end, the public will be invited to the final stop on the journey a bedroom floating underneath – wait for it –  a 6 metre tall LEGO waterfall, surrounded by a pool of bricks.

The whole space will be transformed into a home fit for a superfan, with all items made totally out of LEGO bricks: the teddy bear, lamps, the alarm clock, the TV, story books, and even a pet cat.

The home consists of two bedrooms, with beds nestled in pools filled with LEGO System and LEGO DUPLO® bricks, as well as a living room, where the winners can cosy up in LEGO armchairs while enjoying some LEGO TV.

But before drifting off into their most colourful dreams ever, the  winners will  need to get to grips with the endless supply of bricks and bring their winning entry to life.

If this sounds like an absolute dream come true, you need to bring your A-game when you enter right here!

May the odds be ever in your favour.

This week, social media has been up in arms after news circulated that Snapchat would be closing its virtual doors later this month.

Snapchat fans mourned as speculation that the app was coming to an end on November 14 was rife.

However, it turns out that the information, which spread like wildfire online, was completely fake.

'CEO Evan Spiegel of the very popular app Snapchat has released that Snapchat will be removed from all app stores by November 14,2017,' read the false statement.

'According to Fox News Media Evan has decided to make this decision due to copyright and legal issues with Facebook, Instagram, and Musical.ly.

'By the date November 14,2017 all Snapchat apps with be removed from all devices and all app stores.'

'DISCLAIMER all data and media associated with the app will also be deleted within the app.'

Thankfully for fans of the photo sharing app, it has been revealed that the 'article' in question was in fact a hoax.

However, enough people shared and believed the story that it went completely viral.

CEO Evan Spiegel himself responded to tweets from worries users, simply declaring the false information as 'fake news.'
