Paul Walker lost his life in a car crash almost four years ago.

His daughter Meadow Walker filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Porsche over her father's death at the time, as Paul was a passenger in a Porsche Carrera GT.

Now, the lawsuit has been settled, according to E! News.

A post shared by Meadow Walker (@meadowwalker) on

At the time, the lawsuit reportedly stated that the vehicle 'lacked safety features…that could have prevented the accident or, at a minimum, allowed Paul Walker to survive the crash,' according to documents obtained by E!.

'If Porsche had designed the car to include proper safety features, Paul would have survived, he would be filming Fast and Furious 8, and Meadow Walker would have the father she adored,' Jeff Milam, Meadow’s attorney said in 2015.

The details of the settlement are confidential, but the entertainment site claims that both parties called for a dismissal of the suit.

About a month ago, Meadow shared a throwback image on Instagram, showing her and her Dad enjoying a childhood moment in homage to his birthday.

When a woman in Hollywood is cast a position of power, people are often quick to label the role as a 'strong female character' – but Jessica Chastain isn't buying it.

The Interstallar actress has hit out at those who use the term because it implies that women do not possess strong personality traits to begin with.

In a series of tweets posted earlier today, Jessica made the point that it is rare for a male actor to be referred to in such a way.

She wrote: “Every time someone writes that I play ‘strong women’ what they’re implying is that most women aren’t. How about I just play well written parts?”

When challenged about the stereotypes facing make actors, Jessica agreed that negative labels can indeed affect both genders.

Her comments some just days after she used her voice at the Elle Magazine's Women In Entertainment event to call out hypocrisy in Hollywood.

"This is an industry rife with racism, sexism and homophobia," she said, as she took to the podium.

"It is so closely woven into the fabric of the business that we have become snowblind to the glaring injustices happening every day."

Adding: "Oh we're very quick to point the finger at others and address the issue with social action and fundraising. Yet there is a clear disconnect between how we practice what we preach in our industry."

The Dublin Rape Crisis Centre has criticised the leniency of Tom Humpries' prison sentence, following reports that the convicted child abuser would be jailed for just two-and-a-half years.

The former Irish Times journalist was sentenced this afternoon after he was found guilty of sexually abusing a young girl and grooming her two years.

The 54-year-old pleaded guilty to four counts of inviting a child to participate in a sexually explicit, obscene or indecent act between January 2010 and March 2011.

The maximum sentence for this offence is life imprisonment.

He also pleaded guilty to two counts of defilement of the child between December 5, 2010 and February 19, 2011.

The victim was just 16 years of age when the incidents took place.

Noeline Blackwell, from the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre, said: "We may need to look at sentencing, but certainly just the implementation of sentencing is what's important about this case.

"A view was taken that because the person had had a high position that wasn't anymore, that seemed to be the key that was deciding the length of the sentence, not the level of harm that this man purposely did many, many times to a young girl."

Judge Karen O'Connor, said she based the decision on Humphries' guilty pleas as well as his loss of reputation and livelihood.

Anna Faris is the latest in a long list of Hollywood starlets to share her story of sexual harassment.

Speaking on the latest episode of her podcast, Anna Faris is Unqualified, the actress told listeners how an unidentified director had acted inappropriately towards her in front of an entire film crew.

"I was doing a scene where I was on a ladder. I was supposed to be taking books off a shelf, and he slapped my ass in front of the crew so hard. And all I could do was giggle," she said.

She went on to explain how her colleagues seemed bemused by his actions, though none of them said or did anything to defend her.

"I remember looking around and I remember seeing the crew members being like, 'Wait, what are you going to do about that? That seemed weird.'"

"And that's how I dismissed it. I was like, 'Well, this isn't a thing.' Like, 'It's not that big of a deal. Come on, Faris. Buck up. It's not that big of a deal.' Like, 'Just giggle.' But it made me feel small."

Guest on the podcast, actress Arielle Kebbel, said she could relate to Anna's experience:  "I've found myself giggling out of so many situations, and it's like, 'Screw you for making me have to figure it out.'"

While Anna did not disclose the name of the director, nor the name of the film she ws working on, she did ponder that a lot of men in Hollywood must be “pretty scared right now because of their guilty behaviour.”

Adding: "Hopefully this pattern will be broken."

Over the course of the last three weeks, news reports detailing Harvey Weinstein's alleged conduct within the entertainment industry have been increasing at an alarming rate.

The vast majority of stories have, in many ways, implicated the individuals employed by the movie mogul, while others assert that Weinstein's behaviour was Hollywood's worst-kept secret.

Indeed, a number of high-profile names have admitted they heard whisperings over the course of their career, but insist they were utterly oblivious to the extent of Weinstein's alleged actions.

Weighing in on the subject, it appears George Clooney is keen for all those who were complicit in the cover-up to be held accountable.

"Somebody knew. There were people that brought young actresses to his hotel room," the 56-year-old actor argued while appearing on Today.

"Whoever had that story and didn't write it, should be responsible. I want to know what kind of ad dollars were spent from the Weinstein Company and Miramax," he added.

The Ocean's Eleven star acknowledged that while he was aware of Weinstein' extra-marital affairs, the information was provided by Weinstein himself, and didn't lead George to believe that crimes were beng committed.

"Most of the rumours I knew, were from Harvey himself. I had an affair with in actress or that actress," he explained.

"We should have known this. This is violating women. This is assault. This is – this is silencing women."

Renowned photographer, Terry Richardson, has reportedly been dropped by a number of leading fashion magazines amid allegations of inappropriate behaviour on set.

The 52-year-old is known for his sexually explicit imagery and has been accused of sexual harassment in the past – though he has continually denied the these allegations.

A recent article published in The Sunday Times posed the question; “Why is Terry Richardson still feted by fashionistas?,” and argued that the fashion industry should take a stand against the accused, just like women in Hollywood have done against producer, Harvey Weinstein.

And now, according to The Telegraph, executive president and chief operating officer of Conde Nast International, James Woolhouse, has called on the presidents’ of magazines including Vogue, GQ, Glamour and Vanity Fair, to cancel any work they had planned with the photographer.

The email, reportedly sent on Monday morning, read: “I am writing to you on an important matter. Condé Nast would like to no longer work with the photographer Terry Richardson.”

“Please could you confirm that this policy will be actioned in your market effective immediately. Thank you for your support in this matter.”

The father-of-three has worked with many high-profile stars including Beyoncé, Rhianna and Lady Gaga, and has directed a number of music videos including Miley Cyrus' Wrecking Ball.

Terry previously adressed the claims made against him in a 2014 Huffington Post article, saying: “I collaborated with consenting adult women who were fully aware of the nature of the work, and as is typical with any project, everyone signed releases.

“I have never used an offer of work or a threat of rebuke to coerce someone into something that they did not want to do.”

Both Terry and Conde Nast International are yet to issue statements about the reported dismissal.
