According to local reports, police in Munich have detained a suspect in relation to this morning's knife rampage in the German city.

Confirming developments, Munich police spokesman, Marcus da Gloria Martins, said: "We have arrested a person who very strongly resembles the description by witnesses, but we cannot confirm that he is the attacker."

Four of the perpetrator's six targets sustained light injuries while two escaped without injury during the attack in the Rosenheimer Platz area of the city this morning.

Emergency services were called to the scene at around 8.30 a.m. local time, and police requested the public remain indoors while authorities launched a manhunt.

A motive for the attack has yet to be established.

Nothing reminds us of Christmas like sitting around the table playing a board game, right?

Sure, eventually someone gets extremely p**sed off by losing, flips the game in the air and the fun is over – but that's just a family story to tell!

Anyway, this year might be the year that NO arguments over a board game occur – all thanks to our amazing pals at Disney.

That's right folks, this year will see the official launch of Disney Monopoly, and we can hardly wait to play!

The counters have had a Disney makeover, swapping the Old Boot for Cinderella's Glass Slipper, naturally enough. But wait, there's also the Lamp from Aladdin, the Circus Tent from Dumbo, and Hook's ship from Peter Pan.

HOW DIVINE?

There's also a tiny version of Snow White's Poisoned Apple, and Beauty and the Beast fans can rejoice as there is a little stack of teacups too – we're swooning!

The game is just like the classic in that you pay bills and taxes and all that other fun stuff.

However, there are cute perks like teaching Bambi how to ice skate, which will help you earn a fortune. So cute.

The money has had a Disney mix up too, with cute little dalmatian paw prints scattered on it, and in true magical style, you'll be playing for castles and cottages, instead of flats and semi-detached homes.

You better act fast if you want to get your hands on one of these babies, as they are limited edition, and cost £27.43 from Amazon

Bargain.

Niall Horan is no stranger to the Ellen De Generes studio set, and yet he still finds himself blindsided by the chat show's host unconventional approach to her interviews at times.

While appearing on the show this week, Niall fielded the standard questions; career, love-life and his relationship with the four guys he travelled the world with as part of One Direction.

Lulling him into a false sense of security, Ellen got Niall chatting about Liam, Louis and Harry before pulling a stunt which left the Mullingar-native shrieking in his chair.

"I honestly… eh… cardiac arrest nearly happened there," a distinctly uncomfortable-looking Niall told Ellen after having the bejaysus scared out of him in front of a live audience.

"Why is it not just straightforward on this show?" he asked Ellen who looked pretty damn proud of her 'Harry' stunt.

And if you suggest, for even a moment, that that didn't scare the life out of you, you're lying.

Asia Argento has been the subject of intense derision after making the decision to speak out against Harvey Weinstein in recent weeks.

The 42-year-old actress, who claims the movie mogul once sexually assaulted her, has left her native Italy for Germany in an effort to avoid the criticism levelled at her in the Italian press.

Asia, who alleges Weinstein raped her when she was 21, eventually went on to have consensual relations with him in an effort to protect her burgeoning career.

"After the rape, he won,” she told The New Yorker.

However, unlike many high-profile women, who have been praised for speaking out against the film executive, the press in Italy have been quick to condemn Asia.

In an article for Quartz, Annalisa Merelli, has examined the response to both Asia's and other women's allegations against Weinstein, and asserts that the women at the centre of the scandal have been vilified.

Vittorio Feltri, editor in chief of Libero, a right wing populist newspaper, argued that as Asia did not sustain physical injury during the alleged attacks, it's likely that the sex was consensual.

Similarly, former journalist and MP, Renato Farina, argued that the women, who claim they suffered at the hands of Weinstein, have massively inflated their stories, even suggesting that their experiences boil down to prostitution, not rape.

Reflecting on her decision to leave the country amid the current climate of victim blaming, Asia simply said: “Italy is far behind the rest of the world in its view of women.”

Police in Munich have appealed to the public to stay inside following a stabbing rampage in the German city earlier today.

According to reports, a number of people have been wounded after an individual brandishing a knife attacked bystanders in an underground station in the Rosenheimer Platz area of the city.

The perpetrator has since fled the scene, but the public has been reassured that authorities have galvanised in order to apprehend the individual responsible for the attack.

Appealing for the public's co-operation, police in the city tweeted: "Warning: Avoid #Rosenheimerplatz. Perpetrators are still volatile. Residents please stay in the houses # Munich.”

The alleged offender, who is believed to be in his 40s, is understood to have been wearing a green training jacket and grey trousers and carrying a sleeping mat.

The victims of the attack are not thought to have sustained life-threatening injuries.

During the height of their fame, Christina Aguilera and P!nk made the decision, along with Mya and Lil Kim, to collaborate on a track together.

While the track was soaring to the top of the charts, tension behind the scenes was reportedly soaring as well.

And it seems P!nk is finally comfortable talking about it, having regularly dismissed rumours that there existed animosity between herself and Christina.

While appearing on Watch What Happen Live, the mother-of-two reflected on the early stages of her career, and admitted that while she and Christina were similar in many respects, they differed in their approach to conflict.

"I think I’m an alpha and she’s an alpha. And I’m used to taking my altercations physical and she’s used to having them verbal,” the singer said.

“We’re just very different. Women have to learn how to support each other. It’s not taught to us on the playground."

Admitting that the animosity between them eventually grew physical, Pink told host, Andy Cohen: "Actually, she swung on me in a club, which is hilarious. I was like, ‘What’s happening right now. What is happening?”"

The What About Us singer insists that there is no bad blood betweenh the pair these days, and reasons that their age played a major role in the conflict, saying: "We were super young and super new at the whole thing,"

In fact, it looks like the two singers may even have spent some time together in the recording studio of late, with P!nk admitting: "We may or may not have already collaborated. So, I don’t know if I’m allowed to say that, but I just did."

He touched momentarily on the subject of substance abuse during his appearance on BBC's Desert Island Discs in May, but there was no doubt Ed Sheeran was keen to gloss over the topic as swiftly as possible when host Kirsty Young sought to learn more.

However, it looks like the 26-year-old may now be in a place where he feels comfortable to discuss his past issues.

While being interviewed by Jonathan Ross for the upcoming episode of the latter's chatshow, Ed elaborated on his experience, and admits that he fell victim to the same pitfalls as many stars that went before him.

"I think you need to, when you get into the industry, adjust to it — and I didn’t adjust because I was constantly working on tour," he reasoned.

"And all the pitfalls that people read about, I just found myself slipping into all of them. Mostly, like, substance abuse. I started slipping into it, and that’s why I took a year off and buggered off."

According to the Thinking Out Loud singer, who recently sustained injuries to his arm in a traffic collision, it took the intervention of others to help him realise there was an issue.

I didn’t really notice it was happening. It just started gradually happening, and then some people took me to one side and were like, ‘Calm yourself down’."

"It’s all fun to begin with, it all starts off as a party and then you’re doing it on your own and it’s not, so that was a wake-up call and taking a year off."

Acknowledging how these issues have the capacity to ruin a person's career, Ed turned his attention from the social aspect of his profession to the work itself.

“I focused on work, and I can’t work under the influence, I can’t write songs under the influence, I can’t perform under the influence."

"The more I worked the less [that happened]. I’ve worked my whole life to get to where I am and you can’t lose that over something that you do in your spare time."

Like a worrying number of other women within the entertainment industry, Natasha Lyonne has experience of assault.

And earlier this week, she decided to share it in a move which many of her fans and followers say brought them to tears.

In an account which paints a vivid picture of Natasha at just 19-years-old, the now 38-year-old actress recalls her desire to impress a man who would be instrumental in whether she would be hired to play music icon Janis Joplin.

Having experienced success with the film Slums of Beverly Hills, Natasha hoped her experience and passion for the role would ultimately work in her favour – a hope which was dashed when she found herself 'overpowered' by the man she refers to simply as 'G' in her post.

"I’d always felt like the oldest girl in showbiz. By the time I met G—for his Janis Joplin film I was roughly 19 and already had been at work as a kid actor for 13 years. I wanted the part so bad," she began her post.

"No one knew Janis like I did from the inside out. I’d known her that way since I’d memorized all her lyrics as a little girl actress readying myself for the day I got to play her. And here it was. Slums of Beverly Hills had just come out & I was a hot commodity."

"We would meet in LA while I was in town to discuss the project. He was 35-40. I was staying at my friend Zoe’s apt in West Hollywood. I didn’t have a car cuz I lived in New York City," she remembers.

"I thought I was a real tough guy back then. Sometimes I still do. I wore baby blue corduroy bell bottoms stolen from my friend Annie P and a white wife beater. My hair was huge, curly, messy. Big platform boots."

That seemed fair. I’m pretty sure it was still daylight. We went to a bar on Sunset & I started drinking Southern Comfort figuring, hey- this’ll prove how Method I am. Janis loved Southern Comfort. Being broken & freewheeling. People loved identifying with her pain & her mess. I can remember him driving me back to Zoe’s place & me saying not to come up but really what I recall is suddenly having this huge guy overpowering me and me saying the word “NO” quite clearly. He won I guess. When we woke up I vaguely remember some form of a goodbye on his part like we’d had a fun night. I was pretty devastated by the whole scene and declined flying back to LA for the screentest. In my head at the time I tried to comfort myself with some of her “get it while you can” shtick or maybe that one about how “freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose/nothing, I mean nothing, honey if it isn't free”; beating myself up for not being clear headed, wondering what the hell had just gone down and if I’d allowed it. But now, I also think of these words of hers to the young girls unsure if to speak up, in awe of those who already have & to the teenager inside me still questioning if my truth is valid enough: “Don't compromise yourself. You are all you've got.”

As more and more allegations against Harvey Weinstein are made public, the people responsible for contributing to Hollywood's misogyny in recent decades are being forced to justify their actions.

Given the sheer number of actresses, reporters and television hosts who are coming forward to share their own stories of harassment and assault, it's no surprise that the entertainment industry is being viewed in a very different light by the general public.

One journalist is, however, keen to remind the public that while the likes of Harvey Weinstein do indeed exist, there are other high-profile men who truly understand the vulnerability women in the industry feel.

Film reviewer, Nell Minow, insists that not only do many men choose not to exploit the women they encounter, but they endeavour to protect them.

Speaking to James Warren of Poynter.org, Nell recalled an encounter with David Schwimmer, which she feel speaks to a more positive aspect of the entertainment industry.

While interviewing the former Friends star in 2011, David suggested they take their meeting from the hotel restaurant to his hotel bedroom due to the dining room's noise level.

Nell recalls David immediately offering to provide a third person in the form of a chaperone to ensure his interviewer's comfort.

"I haven’t thought of that since it happened but the Weinstein stories made me not just remember it but remember it in an entirely different context as an indicator of the prevalence of predatory behaviour and as an indicator of Schwimmer’s integrity and sensitivity," Nell said this week.

Nell is keen to stress the significance of the actor's words by explaining that his approach meant he instinctively knew how women in the industry are treated, and was keen to protect them.

"This wasn’t just about his being a good guy who would not have tried anything. He understood what it is like to have to be constantly on the alert and he wanted to make sure I understood I was safe."

Nell added: "I just want to say thank you. And, also, your movie was very good."

While some Twitter users have dismissed Nell's story, arguing that men should not be praised for not assaulting women, others insist David's attitude displayed a level of understanding not exhibited by many men in the industry.
