Adding her voice to the #MeToo campaign, actress and writer, Ilana Glazer, last night revealed that she has fired men over their misconduct in the workplace.

The Broad City co-creator took to Instagram last night to outline her experience of harassment, and asserted that she has been subject to it since her school days.

Ilana, 30, told her fans and followers that she is no stranger to the behaviour which acted as a catalyse for the #MeToo campaign, writing: "I've been sexually harassed countless times; in middle school, in high school – by more teachers than students."

"At work, as a waitress," she continued. "At work, as a showrunner. Same, same, same – I was a woman in both places."

"I was sexually harassed by a creepyass doctor just last year and filed a complaint with NYC."

#metoo – big queenly thanks to @tracelysette & @violadavis posting this so i felt brave enough to!

Ilana revealed that she chose to dismiss two individuals, who she felt behaved inappropriately on set, writing: "I've fired a couple dudes – one background actor and one sound guy."

Reflecting on these instances, she told fans: "I was asked 'Are you sure?: Hm, okay yeah lemme think a sec – YEAH I'M F*CKING SURE."

Acknowledging that being able dismiss those responsible is an anomaly in Hollywood, Ilana wrote: "Cuz getting sexually harassed seems to be a constant, but having the opportunity to do something about it is rare."

The post, which has amassed more than 100,000 likes so far, has struck a chord with Instagram users.

Paying tribute to Ilana's decisive nature, one follower wrote: "I applaud women who are in a position to help protect other women and DO."

"If you have power, you MUST help those who do not from abuse. And know that, when you do, you make a difference that is unquantifiable. Thank you for standing up for us!"

Blac Chyna is suing ex-fiance, Rob Kardashian, as well as his entire family over claims they “damaged her career and professional reputation.”

According to reports, the 29-year-old filed a lawsuit against the Kardashians after Rob posted explicit images of her on social media earlier this year.

Chyna, real name Angela Renee White, claims the scandal led to the cancellation of her reality show, Rob and Chyna.

In a court document obtained by PEOPLE magazine, the mother-of-two names Rob, his mother Kris Jenner, his sisters Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian West, and Khloé Kardashian, as well as half-sisters Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner, and asks for unspecified damages.

“Rob Kardashian is an abuser intent on destroying Angela White, the mother of his baby, who left him in 2016,” the complaint states.

“In revenge, the Kardashian-Jenner family became media predators, slut-shaming her on social media and killing her hit television show, which had already begun filming a second season.”

However, TMZ have claimed sources connected to reality network E! Has documentation to prove the Kardashians had nothing to do with the failure of the show.

The family have yet to comment on the allegations.

Ed Sheeran has been forced to cancel a string of Asian tour dates after he sustained injuries to his arm in a bike accident in London earlier this week.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, Ed revealed to fans that he'd “had a bit of a bicycle accident,” and was waiting on medical advice.

He warned that the injury may affect some of his upcoming shows, though fans remained hopeful.

It has now been confirmed that some dates on the Asian leg of his Divide tour will no longer go ahead as scheduled.

Last night, the Galway Girl singer shared a photo showing his arm in a cast, revealing that the extent of his injuries had left him unable to perform live.

The caption read: “A visit to my doctors confirmed fractures in my right wrist and left elbow that will leave me unable to perform live concerts for the immediate future. Sadly, this means that the following shows will not be able to go ahead as planned: Taipei, Osaka, Seoul, Tokyo and Hong Kong.”

It is not yet known whether more dates will be cancelled as a result, though as it stands, he is not due to perform again until March 2, 2018.

“I’m waiting to see how the healing progresses before we have to decide on shows beyond that. Please stay tuned for more details. PS – Ed isn’t typing this as he has both arms casted/bandaged.”

We're wishing Ed a speedy recovery and thanking our lucky stars that this didn't happen before his Irish tour.

Two pro-life members of the Oireachtas committee on the Eight Amendment will continue to attend sessions despite saying they were considering their positions.

Deputy Mattie McGrath and Senator Rónán Mullen previously called the proceedings a “sham” and claim they are biased in favour of repeal.

Both politicians will attend today's public session.

“We haven't said we will withdraw from the Committee. We are considering our position,”he said.

“Frankly, we have no hope – on the basis of anything that has happened up to now – that the Committee is in the slightest bit interested in rectifying the many problems in its biased approach.”

Should the two committee members decide to withdraw themselves from proceedings, chairperson, Catherine Noone had said it will continue regardless.

"The Committee will proceed and I hope that both Ronan and Mattie will be active members. The Committee will proceed and I can only assume they will be."

Since the colder months have started to settle in, we have been on the hunt for the ultimate winter jacket.

After the tumultuous weather we all faced at the start of this week, we decided it was time to speed up the search.

Luckily, Penneys has us covered as usual, and this time we use the term quite literally.

The aviator jacket has been having a major moment, with black, navy and red versions talking the high street by storm.

However, Penneys have rolled out a dreamy pink aviator coat we would literally fight you for.

According to Instagram, this shearling piece will definitely be coming to Irish stores.

Best of all, it comes in at a pretty reasonable, €40.00, so we're definitely not breaking the bank.

This bad boy is landing in stores soon, so keep your eyes peeled.

DCU might be undergoing some major construction work at the moment, but the college still shines on as a beacon in the minds of many graduates.

There are a few stereotypical experiences most DCU students have, be it dodging all the wasps at the 37 bus stop or skipping lectures to enjoy the sunshine in Albert College Park.

Here are some that stick out in our minds:

10. Living on campus and having pre-drinks was never a straight forward scenario

Whether it was from an over-zealous security guard, a rogue smoker setting off the fire alarms in the hallway, or having to squish everyone and their mother into your tiny kitchen to enjoy some warm cans, pre drinks was not an easy experience.

Never mind smuggling someone in after a night out…

9. There was only one way of getting into the Henry Grattan building…

And that was by using the automatic door.

Manual door? Puh-lease. As if you were going to actually exert effort to get to your lecture. Even if there was a queue going in the automatic door and a solitary tumbleweed blowing through the manual, you knew which side you were sticking to.

8. 'Shite night' has an entirely different meaning to you

Ah Shite Night, a complete institution for DCU freshers and beyond.(also known as Toxic Tuesday if you're less than  cherub-cheeked).

The night was not complete unless you chugged a neon pink glass of Woo Woo before giving out that they were charging you €2 to come into the New Bar where mere hours earlier you had been scoffing goujons and chips (more on the goujons later.)

The themed nights were legendary, and if the night didn't end with a rendition of the Pokemon theme song or the Raitlin Bog, well then were you even at Shite Night?

7. The library looks like a pair of nips

Once it is said, this cannot be unseen.

All the way from the Henry Grattan to the revolving door of the library, a studier in pursuit of knowledge can only hope they will acquire a seat with plugs in the bosom of the John and Aileen O'Reilly library.

6. Yik Yak baes were the only baes going

While there is plenty of romance to be found on campus, Tinder was not the place to be going for it.

Anonymous app Yik Yak was enormously popular in DCU, and the masses used it to discuss everything from rating nights out to more serious mental health questions.

However, one of it's most prolific uses was to fantasize about your library bae, and users would write mini-essays about 'that ride in the Abercrombie leggings who definitely looked over at me when she went to refill her water bottle.'

5. The shush lady was the stuff of nightmares.

Imagine having the task of going around telling a bunch of 18+ year olds to shush?

Well, that was the job of the formidable and terrifying shhhhh lady, who stalked the shadowy aisles of the DCU library, and woe betide you if you were caught chatting in the Quiet Zones.

4. The Loanz drama was too much to handle on a hungover morning

If you were blessed to do a media course in DCU, you will know the deep and tormenting guilt which can overcome a person when handing in borrowed equipment late.

The absolute effort of going all the way into DCU to return something to loans, especially if you had no lectures or you were writhing in pain from a hangover.

But up you went and in you trotted, equipment in one hand, sick bag in the other if necessary, to get that Marantz back in on time.

3. 'Picnics' in Albert College Park were the dream

Okay, so the picnic menu may have consisted of Brunch ice creams and cans, but the craic was unbeatable.

As soon as April or May rolled around, bringing spurts of sunshine with it, you were basking in the grass, lecture be damned.

2. The DCU bathroom walls were inspirational

Whether it was a quote about a breakup, a joke about Harry Potter, or information about accessing abortion that you needed, the walls of the DCU ladies toilets was where you could find it.

1. #Goujons

Ah yes, we've gotten to the stereotypical 'DCU goujons' section of our list.

While DCU is equip with canteens, coffee shops, and far too many Starbucks depots, the true reigning champion of DCU cuisine is of course, the goujons and chips served hot and crispy from the Nu Bar.

At only €5.00 you could enjoy the meal of the collegiate Gods with the dipping sauce of your choice. Can't beat it.

Oh, and you lied about your nutritional intake on the phone call home to Mammy, somehow those goujons and chips turned into homemade cottage pie and a side salad when your foodie habits were questioned.

Lena Headey is the latest in a long list of women who has chosen to speak out against Harvey Weinstein in recent weeks.

Taking to Twitter this afternoon, the Game of Thrones actress revealed that she was propositioned by the movie mogul twice over the course of her career – exchanges which put her 'on high alert' and left her feeling 'completely powerless'.

In a series of tweets, the actress recalls her first meeting with Weinstein, explaining that she was at the Venice Film Festival when he made a suggestive comment.

"I just laughed it off. I was genuinely shocked, I remember thinking 'it's got to be a joke', I said something like 'oh come on mate, it'd be like kissing my dad! Let's go get a drink, get back to the others'."

Lena feels her rejection of Weinstein in that moment had an impact on her career, writing: "I was never in any other Miramax films."

The 44-year-old actress goes on to outline the next incident which involved Weinstein.

Assuming her initial rejection meant he was unlikely to make a second advance towards her, Lena found herself stunned when she met him for breakfast and was cajoled up to his bedroom.

"I'm not interested in anything other than work, please don't think I got in [the lift] with you for any other reason," she told him.

"He was silent after I spoke, furious," Lena remembers in her tweet. "His hand was on my back, he was marching me forward, not a word, I felt completely powerless."

"He tried his keycard and it didn't work. The he got really angry," she recalls.

After marching her out to the car park, Lena recalls Weinstein telling her not to tell her manager or agent about their exhange.

"I got into my car and I cried," she wrote.

Lena has been inundated with siupport since she decided to share her story with fans and followers, with one Twitter user writing: "This is heartbreaking. You didn’t deserve this. No woman deserves this."

Game of Thrones has captured the hearts and imaginations of millions in a way that few TV shows can.

For this reason, it's no surprise that the fantasy series has inspired a myriad of epic Halloween costume ideas.

Of course, Khaleesi is one of the most popular costume choices, with her flowing white locks and penchant for a leather ensemble.

One makeup artist is taking the Mother of Dragons look to a whole new level with her take on the beloved GoT character.

Instagram-famous Irish makeup artist and Youtuber Keilidh Cashell has combined Daenerys Targaryen with her powerful dragons to create a unique Halloween costume we wish we had the makeup skills to recreate.

Using the popular half-face format, the stunningly skilled MUA transformed half of her face into Khaleesi using subtle sculpting and a statement blonde wig, and used the other side to pay homage to Drogon.

A post shared by KEILIDH•CASHELL (@keilidhmua) on

The full tutorial isn't live yet, but the MUA did give some details on how she achieved the look in a caption on her Instagram page.

Keilidh used a few products we already have in our beauty arsenal to create the look, including a SOSU contour kit and Inglot gel liners.

The artist also used professional SFX makeup products to create those mythical scales.

'This is my favourite look of life!! Obsessed with GOT and wanted to do it justice – tutorial coming soon,' Keilidh captioned the snap – and we can't wait.

Over the weekend, the hashtag MeToo began circulating on various social media platforms.

Its purpose? To demonstrate the scale and severity with which sexual harassment and assault occurs, as well as giving women a platform to share their experiences.

While the campaign has been met with support from millions including a number of high-profile female stars, there's no doubt that such a poignant campaign has the capacity to impact negatively on survivors of sexual violence.

Reaching out to Slate's column, Dear Prudence, one woman highlighted the effect the campaign has had on her since its creation in recent days.

"I don’t know how to deal with #MeToo as a rape survivor. I’m feeling triggered and angry," she wrote.

"Social media is a big part of my job, so I can’t just turn it off all day, but I’m not sure what to do. I keep finding myself going to the bathroom and sobbing."

Tapping into a concern many women felt when deciding whether to contribute to the conversation, the woman admitted that she feels a pressure to come forward with her own story of assault.

"My boss posted on our Facebook page about how “proud” he was of all the women who’ve been sharing their stories and I almost lost it. I haven’t talked to many people about what happened to me, including several members of my family, and I don’t want to “come out” as a survivor through a hashtag."

"At the same time, I really want to respond. I want to tell people that survivors don’t owe them their stories. I don’t want people to come away from this display of mutual pain and think that by posting a hashtag, they’ve done enough," she reasoned.

While acknowledging the motivation behind the campaign, she says she can't help but feel her experience has become part of little more than a trendy viral fad.

"I understand why people would want to post, but it just makes me furious. It makes me feel like everything I’ve gone through has been reduced down to a hashtag so that it can trend on social media."

Responding to the woman, Mallory Ortberg, aka Dear Prudence, insisted she was under no pressure to tell her story nor was she obliged to contribute to the campaign.

"You are not obligated to share your own trauma simply because there is a social media campaign going on. If absolutely nothing else, I hope you know that you do not ever have to share your story unless you feel safe and comfortable doing so, and you want to share your story," she advised.

Indeed, Irish author, Louise O'Neill touched on the same issue in her latest Instagram post earlier today.

I’ve been a little wary about #MeToo because it feels like it’s asking women, once again, to share our most traumatizing experiences in order to convince the world that our humanity deserves to be respected too. But…it’s still important, despite my reservations. The #MeToo movement shows how devastatingly common sexual assault and harassment is. I don’t know any woman who hasn’t experienced it to some degree, whether it’s been followed home late at night, being groped in a bar, getting screamed at on the streets, or someone simply not believing that your “no, no, I don’t want to” was worthy of being heard. It’s everywhere and it’s happening to every woman in some capacity, regardless of age, race, religion. It doesn’t matter how attractive or ‘unattractive’ she is deemed to be, or what she was wearing. Rape has nothing to do with sex. It is about power. It is about dominance. It’s about taking what you want from another person without their consent, simply because you can. #MeToo

Reaching out to anyone who feels pressure to contribute to the conversation, Louise wrote: "You don’t owe anyone your story and I don’t think any woman who has shared theirs would expect you to do the same. We’re all in this together."

We chat a lot about body positivity here at SHEmazing HQ, and from regular women to big name celebrities, it's invigorating to see women embrace themselves.

Body positivity is about shedding the shame that can come from having societally perceived 'flaws' and embracing yourself as you are, and Paris Jackson is doing just that in her latest Instagram post.

The daughter of the late Micheal Jckson has never been shy about showing off her tattoos, but her latest post came with a positive messages.

While many homages to self-love come with essay-length captions on Instagram, Paris kept her's short and sweet:

'Comfortable in my rolls,' she captioned the post, which featured a snap of her sitting relaxed in a pair of grey Calvin Kleins.

'F*** wit me,' (sic) she added, challenging anyone to come for her display of partial nudity and declaration of self acceptance.

Paris is proving that women (and men) of all sizes deserve recognition in the body positive space.

This isn't the first time Paris has shared a snap like this on the social media platform.

Paris previously posted another topless images, discussing the many reasons why she feels that nudity is a comfortable state for her.

'I'm usually naked when i garden. It's actually a beautiful thing and you don't have to make it sexual the way many Hollywood stars (and the media) do,' she captioned a previous post.

'Not only is your body a temple and should be worshipped as so, but also part of feminism is being able to express yourself in your own way, whether it's being conservative and wearing lots of clothes or showing yourself.'

It's safe to say the world of pole dancing has undergone somewhat of a transition over the past few years.

Once associated with seedy dance floors and risqué entertainment, the activity has since gone on to prove itself as a pretty decent workout routine, and has now been declared as a sport in its own right.

The Global Association of International Sports Federation (GAISF) has recognised the physical exertion and skill involved and have given it 'observer status'.

According to The Daily Mail, the declaration comes 11 years after Katie Coates, president of the international pole sports federation, started a petition to get pole dancing into the Olympics.

Speaking to the paper, Katie said: “In the early 2000s people started doing it as fitness and taking away the sex stigma, so no high heels and making it accessible for average people.”

“Pole dancing is not like everyone thinks it is, you need to actually watch it to understand.”

“I feel like we have achieved the impossible, everyone told us that we would not be able to get pole dancing recognised as a sport,” she added.

Given its new status, the federation for pole dancing can now apply for national sports recognition through the Department for Digital, Culture and Sport as well as British Olympic Committee and UK Sport memberships.

Patrick Baumann, President of GAISF told The Times: “We will do everything within our remit to help them realise their full potential and… one day, maybe become part of the Olympic programme”.
