One of our favourite things about the festive season is opening our advent calendar, yes, we are very mature.

The holidays are all about treating yourself  to the luxuries that brighten the dull winter months so why not purchase one of these glorious advent calendars from Aldi.

Liam Payne has crushed our hopes of a One Direction reunion (Niall was always our fave anyway)

The singer opened up about the potential reunion and it sounds like the band are nowhere near as close as we were led to believe.

The Strip That Down singer told Jonathan Ross that he can’t see the What Makes You Beautiful singers getting back together for quite some time.

He shared, “All I can say is, through album cycles and single cycles, I see everybody putting songs out at the moment, I don’t think for at least the next two years it’s going to happen.”

When asked if former member Zayn Malik would return, Liam stressed, “I don’t think that’ll ever happen. When he left, it wasn’t on great terms so I don’t feel like it’s a thing.”

“If he didn’t want to be here, he shouldn’t be here, which is fine. Like I say, good for him, he’s gone off and is doing his own thing and he’s doing really well so I don’t want to mess with his stuff. We did a whole stadium tour without him so I feel like it’s fine.”

Liam admitted that he hasn’t spoken to Zayn since he left the band and he has very little contact with Harry Styles. However, he remains close with bandmate Louis Tomlinson.

He revealed, “I feel like me and Louis always had the most connection through everything. There was a point where me and Louis did not get on at all, we absolutely hated each other.

“He has been really great for the last few years. It’s nice having a brother that you can lean on who knows exactly what you’ve been through,” Liam added.

A sentence hearing for the two boys who murdered Ana Kriegel will take place next week. 

The hearing will include a summary of evidence and a statement by Ana’s parents.

It is believed the hearing will take a full day.

Boy A and Boy B were 13-years-old when they lured the young girl to a desolate house in Lucan and murdered her.

The boys, who are now aged 15, were found guilty of murder earlier this year. Boy A was also found guilty of aggravated sexual assault.

Meghan is the Vice President for The Queen’s Commonwealth Trust and this marked one of her first engagements since controversial documentary Harry and Meghan: An African Journey aired.

Meghan was supposed to attend the royal engagement by herself but Prince Harry made a surprise appearance.

The couple put on a united front as reports of a ‘royal crisis’ continue.

A royal source told the BBC that Prince William was worried about his younger brother and that the Sussex’s are in a "in a fragile place".

In the documentary, both The Duke and Duchess of Sussex said that the abuse they’ve faced from the British tabloids has had a severe impact on their mental health.

Meghan even revealed her friends advised her not to marry Harry because the “British tabloids will destroy your life”.

Prince Harry admitted that part of this role is ignoring these rumours, but sometimes it is too much to deal with.

"Part of this job is putting on a brave face but, for me and my wife, there is a lot of stuff that hurts, especially when the majority of it is untrue,” he stressed.

There's no doubt their families will support Harry and Meghan during this troubling time.

We have always envied Adele’s style. The Chasing Pavements singer always oozes class and glamour and her latest look is no different.

Following her divorce from Simon Konecki, the Set Fire To The Rain singer vowed to learn how to fully love herself.

Gemma Atkinson’s latest post has reminded us of how powerful our bodies are.

The new mum shared three shots, one taken during her pregnancy, one taken six weeks after she gave birth and another taken 15 weeks postpartum.

The actress opened up about the importance of staying fit and healthy as a mum.

“My training has even more purpose now I have Mia. I’m her role model! My health and mentally feeling good was always my priority with exercise,” Gemma shared.

“It was never to compete on stage or to chase a certain physique. It was just to be the best version of ME! By making good nutritious choices with my meals without depriving myself (hello once a week cheesecake & pizza) I’m slowly getting back into it,” she continued.

“I started with just cardio around 8wks PP and last week I had my first session back in the gym. It was tough and I had to go back to basics but afterwards I felt amazing! It’s always worth it once those endorphins kick in,” Gemma shared.

Irish influencer Jade McCann, also known by Jayda, has sadly passed away at the age of 24.

The social media star was fighting a rare form of cancer called PEComa, but tragically died in the early hours of the morning.

She was first diagnosed in March 2018 but the cancer spread from her vulva to her lungs.

Her family confirmed the harrowing news on Instagram this afternoon.

They revealed the upsetting news in a statement;

“Just want to update you all on Jade’s situation; Jade passed away peacefully in her sleep this morning at 5:10 am.

“We will put up a post in the near future with more details regarding her passing but for now her family would appreciate privacy until everything is in order,” the statement read.

“Thank you all for your support and continued kindness.”

Tributes have been pouring in for Jade who inspired many with her positive attitude as she documented her cancer journey on her Instagram account.

Our thoughts are with Jade’s family and friends during this devastating time.
