The Late Late Show is back on Friday, September 6 and we are genuinley excited about this week’s episode.

Ryan is back with quite the brilliant lineup as the 58th series (yes, 58th) of The Late Late Show returns to RTÉ. Singer Sinead O’ Connor and comedian Aisling Bea join the broadcaster for a chat.

More importantly, three of our fave Love Island stars will also join Ryan to chat about life outside of the villa and their time on one of the most-watched TV shows.

Our national treasures Greg O’ Shea and Maura Higgins, and winner Amber Gill will be Ryan’s guests on Friday night and we cannot wait to see what the trio have to say about Love Island life.

Greg and Amber may have won the show, but it was Maura who reigned as people’s champion, so we’re so ready for the Longford legend to make an appearance on the chat show.

Greg posted a selfie with Ryan ahead of his appearance on the Late Late. The duo grinned at the camera as they chatted over coffee earlier this week.

The Love Island winner teased, “Great chat this morning with [Ryan]…True gent."

We didn’t think we’d ever say this but we cannot wait to stay in on Friday night and watch the Late Late.

The Late Late Show airs on RTÉ 1 at 9.35pm.

Ariana Grande fans, we’ve got some bad news. The God Is a Woman singer has cancelled all of her meet and greets on the European leg of her tour.

The singer announced the disappointing news on Instagram last night, but her reasons for cancelling are completely valid.

The news comes after Ariana was forced to cancel her meet and greet in Antwerp, Belgium after suffering from panic attacks and anxiety.

The singer explained to fans that she had reached breaking point and stressed that this was not an easy decision to make.

She said, “‘Hi my loves. Time for some honesty. My depression and anxiety have been at an all-time high lately. I have been giving you all I’ve got and trying to push through as hard as I can and mask it.

“I wish I had control over these attacks but as anybody with anxiety or depression understands, sometimes you can only operate on its terms and not your own,” the One Last Time singer added.

An email has been sent to fans who purchased the VIP tickets and they will be offered a partial refund.

The ticket included entrance to her soundcheck party and the meet and greet.

Fans will still receive a spot in the VIP area at the concert as well as a gift bag. They will also be granted early entry.

Ariana and her team have apologised for the inconvenience.

Live Nation stressed that this decision was made to help the No Tears Left To Cry singer reserve her voice and energy.

Fans have naturally expressed their concern for the singer following the news with many encouraging her to take care of herself. Others have also advised her to cancel the tour completely.

New Irish wellness app KeepAppy has launched this month and we love the sound of it. Co-founders Aimee-Louise Carton and Will Ben Sims designed the platform to empower users to take control of their mental and physical wellbeing by enabling people to track the vitals that most impact an individual’s state of mind. KeepAppy is designed to increase self-awareness and encourage engagement with positive behaviour practices and will be available on the App Store and Google Store.

KeepAppy contains 10 key features focused on empowering, educating and cultivating a wellness-oriented lifestyle, through three main areas:

  • Prevention (journaling, goal-setting, mindfulness, medical pill reminder, period tracker)

  • Growth (mood tracking, individualised content, gratitude diary, community challenges)

  • Care (geo-specific partnered helplines)

Aside from its 10 key features, KeepAppy’s core mission is dedicated to making a positive social impact on everyone. Its founders have developed a 1 for 1 model, meaning for every user who subscribes to the full version of KeepAppy, they will donate a lifetime subscription to someone in need, chosen by the helplines they work with.

The platform enables consumers, who may or may not suffer from mental wellbeing issues to record their wellbeing through a mood tracker, journaling, goal setting and more. KeepAppy can be described as a gym for everyone’s wellbeing, where users have an array of ‘equipment’ or tools to help them take control of their mental health.

KeepAppy is unique in that it’s a strictly confidential app – its founders have committed to never abusing or selling users data, in contrast to many other wellness platforms.

Speaking about the launch of KeepAppy, Co-Founder and CEO Aimee-Louise Carton said:

“We are delighted to be launching Ireland’s go-to app for mental wellbeing. KeepAppy aims to become the leading wellness app for Irish people. It’s a strictly confidential platform where users can journal their moods and gain access to a host of other services that can improve their mental state of mind in a matter of minutes.”

Irish people adore pizza, there's no denying that fact.

hungry michael buble GIF by bubly

What we wanted to find out was what weird and wonderful delicacies our nation was ordering, and the results have arrived.

To celebrate National Cheese Pizza Day on Thursday, September 5, Deliveroo have released data of their Top 10 Most Ordered Pizzas in Ireland as well as the strangest custom pizza requests made.

While many of us are still arguing over whether pineapple should touch the tomato/cheese heaven of pizza or not, other people are ordering some pretty damn questionable items for their meals.

Here are by far the oddest orders, and we gagged at more than one of them so that's a warning to those of you with weak stomachs;

The Roast Pizza

One devout roast dinner lover in Cork City asked that the restaurant, instead of the selection of toppings listed, would decorate his pizza with a generous spread of roast chicken and carrots. Mammy would be so proud.

Sweet and Savoury

We know – public opinion of sweet pizzas is mixed. Some consider it to be just another wonderful way to enjoy pizza, while others view them as total abominations, but one Ballsbridge customer played with fire when she requested a chocolate dessert pizza topped with chilli flakes.

Ketchup Pizza

Everyone knows that pizza is made with a dedicated pizza sauce. That sauce is not ketchup. In any case, a ketchup-crazed individual near Stephen’s Green requested that her pizza base be slapped with the condiment instead of the usual sauce. Each to their own?

Salt  and Vinegar

A customer in Tallaght, who presumably confused pizza with fish and chips, requested in the order notes for the restaurant to ‘put plenty of salt and vinegar on it’. To be fair, it doesn’t sound gross, but there’s no doubt that it’s an unusual request.

The Breathalyser

One Donnybrook customer embarked on a mission to create the ultimate bad breath sensation. There were no out of the ordinary special requests as such, but… her toppings choices were tuna, anchovies, basil and garlic. They speak (or breathe) for themselves.

Top 10 Most Ordered Pizzas in Ireland

1. Margherita – Sano Pizza, Dublin

2. The Spicy Devil – Fallon & Byrne, Dublin

3. American – Milano, Galway

4. Frida – Tom Barry's, Cork

5. Pepperoni – Pete's, Dublin

6. Diablo – Calzones by Tiger, Dublin

7. Prosciutto E Funghi – Wallace's Asti, Dublin

8. Margherita – Venice Restaurant – Galway

9. Pepperoni – McGinn's Hophouse, Galway

10. Picantte (M)(G) – North Wood Fire Pizza, Dublin

Joe Groves of Deliveroo commented on the data results;

“Ireland has an eclectic taste in pizza, and this is reflected in the diverse range of popular pizzas around the country, from the Spicy Devil to the Diablo.

“Better still, it’s clear there is no fear of standing out from the crowd with these bizarre pizza orders. Luckily for them, we will always go above and beyond to cater to their needs."

Nice to know that the Deliveroo staff aren't judging our strangeness…

Harry Styles has one of the most famous head of hair in the world, so he's probably insured it for a time where he has a dodgy haircut.

The latest change to the singer's locks has somehow shut down the internet, who are divided on whether he pulls off his new (Harry) Style.

He already dropped several bombshells on his fans last week with his Rolling Stone September cover story (sex, mushrooms, One Direction, celebrity friends- you name it) but he's just warming up.

The 25-year-old heartthrob chopped off his luscious locks and is sporting a much shorter hairstyle, featuring BANGS *gasp*. His fans have lost the ability to breathe.

He debuted the new look while taking photos with fans in Italy, and one Twitter user shared an image of her dad meeting the former One Direction star.

While some are arguing that he resembles ex-bandmate Louis Tomlinson, we believe he's now mirroring Charlie Heaton's Stranger Things character, Jonathan Byers.

One fan exclaimed; "Okay but can someone tell me when the f**k Harry Styles cut his hair like, it was so short? How did he Jonathan Byers his hair in like a week."

As the internet debated on whether or not to support the haircut, another pointed out;

"Today I learnt that people will genuinely unstan Harry Styles for styling his hair differently..don't let the door hit y'all on the way out luvs." LET THE BOY LIVE.

The chap could shave his head and superglue feathers onto his scalp and he'd probably still look hotter than climate change.

As one fan eloquently put it, "the fact that Harry always looks hot regardless of what he wears/how he styles his hair amazes me. He really is THAT bitch." Lizzo would approve.

He cut off his ponytail for a good cause in 2015, donating his hair to the British charity Little Princess Trust to provide wigs made from real hair for children who have experienced hair loss.

How can this man do no wrong?

Tommy Fury seems to be turning his attention to the fashion world, after collaborating with UK clothing brand boohooMAN on a new edit.

The boxer found fame while appearing on the 2019 series of Love Island, and finished as the runner-up alongside Molly-Mae Hague.

His influencer girlfriend has just launched her own collection with PrettyLittleThing, but the pair don't appear to be comparing themselves to each other.

The 20-year-old has launched his first fashion edit after being announced as one of the brand's ambassadors, telling Metro.co.uk;

"I was always a massive boohooMAN supporter, even before I went in the villa – it’s a clothing brand I always did wear. It’s a massive privilege to be working with boohooMAN, it’s a pleasure to be on board.

"You should always feel comfortable and feel happy in what you wear. Fashion is a big thing – we’ve always got to be staying fresh now, haven’t we?" His fashion credentials are rising, for sure.

Tommy launched the edit with a slew of celebrity friends at London's SushiSamba on Monday, with Molly-Mae Hague, Curtis Pritchard and Maura Higgins, AJ Pritchard, India Reynolds and Joanna Chimonides showing their support.

He added to Metro.co.uk that himself and Molly-Mae don't argue over their fashion branding;

"No competition, none at all – never has, never will be. We both couldn’t be happier for each other. Molly’s doing great things with PLT, I’m doing great things with boohooMAN. We’re just enjoying every day as it comes."

The reality star is looking better than ever in the images, sporting all-white and all-black tracksuits and fashionable trainers.

Tommy is following in the footsteps of fellow Love Island cast members Wes Nelson and Josh Denzel, who signed with the global online retailer last year.

Samir Kamani, CEO of boohooMAN, said in a statement: "We are pleased to welcome Tommy on board. We have lots of exciting projects coming up with him so keep a close eye!

"He was a fan of the brand before going on to the show so our collaboration feels like a natural progression for both of us."

Love Island 2019 star Belle Hassan appeared to confirm her feud with fellow Islander Molly-Mae Hague by skipping her star-studded PrettyLittleThing collaboration launch on Sunday night.

Molly-Mae was also absent from Belle's Lipstick and Champagne dinner party at STK in London, despite Amber Gill, Lucie Donlan and Anna Vakili all attending.

Belle's Love Island boyfriend Anton Danyluk was also missing from Molly-Mae's PLT party in Manchester, as was surfer gal Lucie Donlan.

The 20-year-old Instagram model had a disagreement with Scottish gym owner Anton after he unfollowed her on social media.

Molly-Mae's feud with Anton and Belle began when herself and Tommy chose to eliminate the other couple from the ITV2 reality show just days before the pair finished as runners up.

Speaking to The Sun Online shortly after, 21-year-old Belle admitted she was "shocked" that Molly-Mae and Tommy were the only ones to vote for them to leave.

While Molly-Mae was attending personal appearances in Scotland and Majorca last week, the female cast of the 2019 series went to Belle's bash at STK.

Amnesty Ireland are hoping to host a disco at Dáil Éireann to protest US Vice President Mike Pence's visit to Ireland/

The visit has been moved forward, and Amnesty has began crowdfunding to organise the event in time.

On their crowdfunding page, they said:

“He’ll be in Dublin on the 3rd of September. We want to have a Disco outside the Dáil (at 1pm) in protest. A celebration of all the people that Pence and Trump’s cruel policies are hurting; women, refugees, migrants, and LGBTI people."

They continued;

“We want to show him, and people that support him, that we’re a different country now and that he can’t go back to the USA and say that Ireland supports him, Trump or their policies of hate.

“We’re going to need plenty of colourful banners, a sound system for music, a stage for dancing and maybe even a disco ball! Leftover funds will go to support our other related campaigns.

“And we’re going to invite Mr Pence to our disco. We hope he RSVP’s.”

A post shared by Vice President Mike Pence (@vp) on

Pence is renowned for defending the horrible conditions in US immigrant detention centres recently, and tweeted his excitement at the prospect of celebrating his "Irish roots".

Of course, many Twitter users were highly disgusted at the hypocrisy. His grandfather immigrated to the US from Co. Sligo in 1923, so his anti-immigrant views are even more ridiculous.

Pence’s trip is expected to cost up to €10 million in security costs.

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar and his partner Matt Barrett attended a breakfast with Pence and his wife Karen, which must have been awkward considering the Vice President’s track record on LGBT+ rights.

Pence voted against hate crime laws during his stint in Congress, and has allegedly endorsed cruel gay conversion therapy. His wife also teaches in a school which refuses to accept LGBTI pupils.

Pence opposed the repeal of the US military’s controversial 'Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell' policy in 2010, citing that he did not want to see the military become ‘a backdrop for social experimentation’. Wow.

Justin Bieber has opened up about his struggles with fame, drugs and depression in a lengthy post that just might make you a Belieber again.

The personal message was shared to his Instagram page, and he apologises for past behaviour and reflects on his growth from a child star to a confident musician and husband.

Music manager and enemy #1 of Taylor Swift, Scooter Braun, discovered Bieber when he was just 13-years-old on YouTube.

The note is opened up by the pop star by addressing recent feelings of depression, linked to the “quite unexplainable” pressure placed on a celebrity who has come from an unstable home to grow up in the chaotic media spotlight.

“It’s hard to get out of bed in the morning…when it feels like there’s trouble after trouble after trouble,” he wrote on Instagram

“You start foreseeing the day through lenses of ‘dread’ and anticipate another bad day. A cycle of feeling disappointment after disappointment. Sometimes it can even get to the point where you don’t even want to live anymore. Where you feel like it’s never going to change.”

He had "millions in the bank" by just 18-years-old and “access to whatever I wanted” but “no skills in the real world”, he said.

By 19, the singer was doing “pretty heavy drugs” and “abused” the relationships he was in: “I became resentful, disrespectful to women and angry,” he explained.

He had an epiphany moment at 20, where he had “made every bad decision you could have thought of and went from one of the most loved and adored people in the world to the most ridiculed, judged and hated person in the world.

The 25-year-old wrote that his life has changed for the better, thanking his faith, marriage to Hailey Baldwin, and the support network of his friends and family for his recovery.

He made sure to add that the biggest dopamine rush you can get is being on stage, and performers turn to drugs to cope with the "huge highs and lows" of life off-stage.

Bieber has teased new music following his hit collaboration with Ed Sheeran, I Don’t Care.

Many of us remember Purpose, his last album which was released in 2015 and delivered bangers like Sorry, What Do You Mean and Where Are U Now?.
