Looks like we'll be seeing plenty more of Maura on our screens pretty soon, thank Goddess.

Maura Higgins is set to land her own reality show after TV bosses were impressed by her attitude and personality on ITV's Love Island.

The fiesty nature of the 28-year-old former grid girl has meant that she's become a breakout star of the villa, but Curtis Pritchard won't be needed for her new show.

Curtis himself has been named as the receptionist for the next series of The Greatest Dancer on BBC, while Maura is joining ITV's list of big stars.

While the producers aren't offering any couples a spin-off show (we want more GREG) due to fears of the partners splitting up before filming finishes

Maura made a flying start on This Morning as an agony aunt, but plans to challenge the star with a number of activities are in the works.

The Sun reports that there are plans for Maura to tick off a number of items from a 'turning-30 bucket list', which will see her take on everything from bungee-jumping to pottery making.

An inside source told The Sun that Maura is "great on screen so bosses want to create a platform where viewers can still get their fix."

Producers are "focusing on Maura" as "no-one really knows what the future holds" for her relationship with Curtis. Maura has "ratings-winner potential," and ITV are "ironing out details at the moment."

Maura's fanny flutters are getting her far in her career, it seems.

Nora Quoirin's family have issued an emotional statement following the discovery of the 15-year-old's body in Malaysia yesterday.

Nora vanished from the resort in Dusun on Saturday, August 3 and her body was found 10 days later near a small stream roughly 1.6 miles from the resort.

A post-mortem is being conducted today to determine the cause of death. Writing an emotional letter, her family thanked those who had helped in the search.

The schoolgirl has lived with learning difficulties after being born with a rare brain disorder named holoprosencephaly. Her grieving family spoke of how she "truly touched the world";

“Nora is at the heart of our family. She is the truest, most precious girl and we love her infinitely,” they said.

“The cruelty of her being taken away is unbearable. Our hearts are broken. We will always love our Nora.”

“We would like to thank all the people that have been searching for Nora and trying their best to find her,” the statement added.

“We thank the local people here and those far and wide for their prayers and support at this time.

“Nora has brought people together, especially from France, Ireland, Britain and Malaysia, united in their love and support for her and her family.

“To all our friends and family at home, we can’t thank you enough for all your love.”

Hundreds of people were involved in the search for the missing girl, who disappeared without a trace. A window downstairs had been left open.

The search for Nora received worldwide support, as the daughter of a French-Irish couple living in London. Meabh and Sebastien Quoirin thanked those who contributed to the fundraising effort.

Nora’s aunt and uncle raising more than £100,000 online to help in the search.

At a press conference held on Tuesday, August 13, deputy police chief Mazlan Mansor told reporters Nora’s body was winched by helicopter to a hospital mortuary.

The body “was not in any clothings” and that the police were looking into all possibilities including the “angle of criminal investigation”.

President of Ireland, Michael D Higgins, and his wife Sabina were among those to offer their “deepest condolences” to Nora’s parents and her family.

We all know at least one person who goes into full panic mode during a flight if the slightest bit of turbulence occurs. If you don't know anyone in your friend group, it's probably you…

Nervous flyers are pretty common, considering you're putting your entire trust in two people you've never met before in a cockpit.

The actual process of flying can cause huge amounts of discomfort, be it from the taking off aspect, the turbulence during or the landing. One flight attendant has revealed the best seat for anxious flyers;

"If you’re a nervous flyer or feel uneasy with turbulence, then sit as close to the front of the plane as possible. If you like turbulence and feeling everything then sit near the back of the plane," the former flight attendant named Matt, told The Mirror.

The ex-Easy Jet employee also revealed which seats have the most leg room, which we're fairly sure everyone already knows but nevertheless. It's nice to have an actual flight attendant's word for it.

"If you like extra legroom, the first row or emergency exit rows are good but be prepared to not have anything on the floor where you’re sat as you’re only allowed stuff in the overhead lockers. The floor has to be clear in case an emergency evacuation is needed."

The pilot is likely to avoid any turbulence from the front of the plane, so if you sit near the cockpit you'll probably avoid the experience too.

The front row or an emergency exit row is the ideal spot for those long-legged people (we're envious of you). If you're getting sweaty palms at the thought of the plane shaking, definitely don't sit at the back.

The back of the plane is the worst place to be anyway, seeing as the bathrooms are usually mid-way up the plane or at the front. You've got to have priorities, so book the front seat and pay the fee if you need comfort.

We have long been a fan of Shari Lapena so were thrilled to learn that she had a new book coming out this year. Someone We Know is her latest psychological thriller and as you might expect, it does not disappoint.

The story is set in the affluent neighbourhood outside of Manhattan.

In a tranquil, leafy suburb, the story unfolds – the focus is on four main families. The book opens on one family (the Sharpes’) whose eldest son has broken into their neighbours house for no other reason than he can.

This initially seems like an act of a bored and rather foolish teenager, but it swiftly unravels into a key moment of a story that will enrapture your attention from the get-go.

Image result for someone we know book

Meanwhile, their neighbour, Amanda Pierce has gone missing. Her husband Robert is an unlikeable piece of work, but seems distressed by her absence and after all, no-one really knows what goes on behind closed doors.  Very quickly the book turns into a murder investigation as Amanda Pierce is found by chance in the boot of her submerged car.

This is a story which reminds us that you never really know what goes on behind closed doors or what our neighbours are really like despite seeing them walking their dog in the morning and returning home from work in the evenings.

From the outset there are many suspects who could have killed Amanda and the tension builds with each turn of the page. Despite the original friendships the book opens with, they quickly disintegrate as neighbour turns on neighbour to distance themselves from what the police are uncovering.

This is a fast-moving psychological thriller that filled me full of intrigue and excitement. All in all, it’s a finely crafted read that held my attention nicely throughout and left me satisfied at the end.

Someone We Know is fast and twisty; full of intrigue, secrets, lies and murderous intent which you will race through.

We highly recommend.

The family of Nóra Quoirin has confirmed the female body found earlier this morning is their daughter's.

Nóra's family identified the body following a post-mortem examination at a local hospital around 70km south of Kuala Lampur.

Volunteers discovered the 15-year-old's body near a stream around 2km from where she disappeared on August 4.

The Lucie Blackman Trust, which are helping the Quoirin family in every way they can, said: "Investigations are under way to confirm identity and cause of death."

Nóra's mother Meabh, from Belfast, made a heartbreaking appeal yesterday to find her daughter, also offering a significant reward for any information.

She said:

"Nóra is our first child. She has been vulnerable since the day she was born. She is so precious to us and our hearts are breaking."

Meabh added: We are appealing to anyone who has information about Nóra to help us find her." Hundreds of volunteers, police and Indigenous trackers were searching for the teenager over the past 10 days.

The family have been based in London for the past 20 years, and had arrived at the Dusun resort on the day before Nóra went missing.

15-year-old Nóra was born with the brain defect holoprosencephaly and had special needs. Our deepest condolences go out to the Quoirin family at this distressing time.

We're having a fashion moment but honestly, we can't decide our emotions about the latest trend. One Keeping Up With the Kardashians star's latest outfit is a borderline optical illusion.

Kendall Jenner has been known far and wide to adore denim, constantly ditching floaty dresses or skirts in favour of ripped jeans in all shapes and forms.

The model stepped out in West Hollywood wearing a pair of wide-leg mom jeans by Olivia Øblanc with a frayed trim detail…but things weren't as they seemed.

Image: Instagram/@oliviaoblanc

The jeans were BACKWARDS. The 23-year-old makes some edgy fashion choices and rolls out the outfit inspiration, but the Calabasas-native's jeans are just mind-boggling.

The 'Unisex Double Front Frayed Jeans' are made of two separate pairs of recycled jeans, sewn together to make a trippy denim hybrid.

Kendall managed to make the outfit look as stylish as can be, as per usual.

If you're interested in grabbing a pair for yourself, you can nab them for a cool $175 (€156) on the Olivia Oblanc website here.

Actor and model Josh Kloss has accused Katy Perry of sexual misconduct at a roller-skating rink after he starred in the singer's Teenage Dream music video.

Kloss described an uncomfortable interaction with Perry, saying that she exposed his penis to a group of people in 2010. Writing to Instagram, he wrote;

“It was Johny Wujek’s birthday party at moonlight roller way. And when I saw her, we hugged and she was still my crush."

"But as I turned to introduce my friend, she pulled my Adidas sweats and underwear out as far as she could to show a couple of her guy friends and the crowd around us, my penis. Can you imagine how pathetic and embarrassed I felt?”

Kloss recounted another experience on set for a music video, where Perry allegedly referred to kissing him as "gross". He claims that Perry's representatives also stopped him speaking about his time with the singer, and answered interview questions for him.

“I just say this now because our culture is set on proving men of power are perverse,” Kloss wrote. “But females with power are just as disgusting. After I met Katy, we sang a worship song, Open the Eyes of My Heart. She was cool and kind."

"When other people were around she was cold as ice," he added.

"Now I was pretty embarrassed but kept giving my all, as my ex was busy cheating on me and my daughter was just a toddler, I knew I had to endure for her sake. Katy invited me to a strip club in Santa Barbara. I declined and told her “I have to go back to hotel and rest, because this job is all I have right now”.

"So for all her good she is an amazing leader, her songs are mainly great empowering anthems. And that is it. I continued to watch her use clips of her music videos for her world tour and then her DVD, only highlighting one of her male co-stars, and it was me

"I made around $650 in total off of Teenage Dream. I was lorded over by her reps, about not discussing a single thing about anything regarding Katy publicly. And in a couple of interviews, they edited and answered for me.

"Happy anniversary to one of the most confusing, assaulting, and belittling jobs I’ve ever done. I was actually gonna play the song and sing it on ukelele for the anniversary, but then as I was tuning I thought, f*ck this, I’m not helping her bullsh*t image another second."

He later added further comments to his Instagram, sharing a photo of doctored interview questions.

"The fear sticks with you, when you are censored to protect someone else’s image. But in return treated like a prostitute and exposed in front of a group of her friends and other random people. Then you are shocked and you block it out, because you watch the face of children being uplifted by positive music she sang.

"Folks I am putting us both out on display to increase and enlighten everyone. I don’t want money for this, Many of you project your own ambitions. I don’t want fame from this," Kloss concluded, adding that men aren't the great evil of the world but power itself corrupting people, regardless of gender.

Katy Perry has yet to comment on the accusation.

A new report is claiming that Love Island runners up Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury have been 'banned' from attending an Ibiza trip with their fellow cast-mates.

Anton Danyluk, Lucie Donlan, Tom Walker, Joe Garratt, Jordan Hames, and Casa Amor's Lavena Back, among others, went on a post-villa weekend away and didn't invite the pair.

Rumours are ongoing about a rift between Molly Mae Hague and Tommy Fury and the rest of the Love Island 2019 cast, and new reports claim the weekend away was in spite of the fellow Islanders.

The likes of Chris Taylor, Belle Hassan and Joanna Chimonides were living their best lives in Ibiza without winners Greg and Amber as well as Tommy and Molly-Mae.

A source told The Sun that the runners up were "banned" from the trip as claims of their 'fake'relationship continue to follow them.

According to the insider;

"Some of the Love Island stars got a free trip to Ibiza from a clothing brand and so were able to take people with them They decided they wanted to treat their Love Island mates but they all agreed they didn’t want to invite anyone they didn’t like – such as the 'fake people'."

A post shared by Tom Walker (@tom9walker) on

The source added;

"A few of them were very vocal about how they think Tommy and Molly are fake – they said all they did was sleep all day in the villa and nothing else. Everyone agreed they Tommy, Molly and Amy were banned from the trip and weren’t to be invited."

Some fans are speculating about the lack of invitation possibly being linked to the underlying feud between Anton Danyluk and Molly-Mae.

Anton admitted to unfollowing Molly-Mae on Instagram, commenting during the Love Island: Reunion show: "We weren't the closest, I wouldn't say we weren't friends. I didn't choose to follow her. I wouldn't have chosen to follow her."

Molly-Mae opened up to OK! Magazine about the online abuse she has received, and was upset to see Anton commenting negatively about her.

"Everyone has seen that I’ve been getting quite a lot of backlash and hate online, so for him to then add fuel to the fire was quite shocking," she commented. "I know Tommy would never do that to Belle if she was in this situation, because he’s not that type of person.

"I think it showed more about him than anyone else. It’s a shame that this has happened. It was unnecessary. I want to be able to support everyone who was on the show. We all did this together."

Winner of Love Island 2019 Amber Gill is heading to Limerick to visit Greg O'Shea this weekend, and we can't WAIT to have the Geordie on Irish shores.

The pair were crowned the winning couple after Greg had only entered the villa 12 days previously in a shock decision, beating favourites Molly Mae Hague and Tommy Fury in the process.

Gill will fly over to Ireland to spend the weekend with rugby player Greg, after he was spotted visiting Amber's family in Newcastle and surprising her with a huge birthday cake.

She said: "Greg, oh my god, he is lusher in real life he is so fit." *Swoons* He really is a keeper.
