We're shaken, but not stirred, with the latest Bond 25 news.

Prince Charles has reportedly been invited to join Daniel Craig in the next superspy movie, according to The Sun.

The heir to the throne "discussed" a potential cameo in the next flick, while visiting the set of the film alongside 007 stars Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes and Naomie Harris.

The publication claims that' “When Prince Charles visited the film set a few weeks ago, a cameo was discussed. Now he is considering it.”

“They loved the buzz around the Queen’s appearance alongside Daniel Craig and think Charles could top even that. He is the epitome of everything British, perfect for a cameo role and Bond fans worldwide would absolutely love it.”

Prince Charles has a strong connection to the British intelligence network. The Prince of Wales has been Royal Patron to the intelligence Services since 2011, which include M15.

Charles' mother Queen Elizabeth’s previous Bond cameo was at the 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony, and received rave reviews so he'd have big shoes to fill.

A convincing body double of the Queen made a dramatic entrance to the London stadium by throwing herself out of a helicopter and parachuting down into the tournament.

Another insider also told The Sun that if Prince Charles turns down the opportunity, then “Harry and Wills could be in producers’ sights next"

The source continued;

Kensington Palace recently revealed that the Duke of Cambridge has undertaken a three week internship with MI6, MI5 and GCHQ, which Prince William called “a truly humbling experience”.

“Spending time inside our security and intelligence agencies, understanding more about the vital contribution they make to our national security, was a truly humbling experience,” he said

He continued;

“These agencies are full of people from everyday backgrounds doing the most extraordinary work to keep us safe. They work in secret, often not even able to tell their family and friends about the work they do or the stresses they face. They are driven by an unrivalled patriotism and dedication to upholding the values of this country. We all owe them deep gratitude for the difficult and dangerous work they do.”

Bond 25 is due out in spring of 2020, though production issues have halted production numerous times.

Daniel Craig received an ankle injury on set which required him to have surgery, and director Danny Boyle left the film over creative issues. Cary Joji Fukunaga has replaced him in the director's chair.

Another source told The Sun, “Bond 25 producers are desperate to sign Prince Charles. It is no secret that the film has suffered a number of setbacks but landing a royal could be just what the movie needs.”

Remember the days where clubs where off-limits to us, be it from our strict parents or the legal age limit? Well, some things never change.

According to MailOnline, Love Island producers banned the cast from going clubbing after the big reunion over the weekend.

ITV bosses were left frustrated when they heard that the 2019 cast were planning on leaving the after-party early to go clubbing at London spot Libertine.

The cast, including Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea, were sent straight home after the show's annual reunion was filmed at Hertfortdshire’s Elstree studios.

"All the Love Island stars were booked in at Libertine last night after the wrap-party,’" an insider told the publication.

"The executive producer of the show found out they were leaving the wrap party earlier and kicked off about it."

The source added: "None of them were allowed to go on to any other nightclubs and instead had to go straight home."

The producers apparently made the call as part of their duty of care towards the Islanders to aid them in adjusting to newfound fame.

A spokesperson for the show later dismissed the claim, dispelling rumours of a ban from leaving the wrap party early.

The news comes after Molly-Mae Hague has apparently accepted ITV's offer of therapy after being bullied online since leaving the villa.

The Instagram star hopes it will help her "get her head around it all and hopefully get back to her old self soon".

Molly-Mae was advised to take a break from social media while she adapts to the change, and she has since returned to the social app.

When we think of our list of 'must-see before we die' destinations, marvels like The Great Barrier Reef, Machu Picchu and the azure waters of Indonesia's Bali spring to mind.

However, in a recent survey, it was revealed that Ireland made the top three when it came to ultimate bucket list destinations.

The study by Provision Living, based in the US, found that the country topping the chart is Australia- which is exactly the kind of stunning, beachy location we envisioned for a bucket list topper.

Next up is vibrant Italy, whose culture, food and reputation for stunning scenery as well as a wealth of historic sites make it one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world.

Third, we have our own, home grown Ireland.

Renowned for it's beautiful rural scenery, history of creatives (we arent known as the isle of saints and scholars for nothing), Celtic history and vibrant traditional music.

Rounding off the top 10 are:

4. Japan

5. United Kingdom

6. France

7. Greece

8. Bahamas

9. Egypt

10. Germany

Despite Ireland making it into the top three of most coveted countries, no Irish cities made it into the Top 20 Bucket List cities.

While 95% of people surveyed had a Bucket List, 57% said that financial issues are preventing them from being able to travel.

A further 11% cited family commitments, while 2% very honestly put it down to laziness.

We've heard some pretty quirky methods in our time of finding a soul-mate, but this has to be the most elitist.

A dating app in Australia named Toffee Dating is exclusively for those who went to PRIVATE SCHOOL, and you can just imagine how posh the conversations get.

Sliding into DMs just got a lot more snobby…Tinder and Bumble clearly aren't upper class enough for these folks.

Lydia Davis, Co-creator of Toffee Dating, explained to 9Honey why the company brought the app from the UK to Australia. There's apparently a huge amount of privately educated people Down Under.

"In the UK, eight per cent of people are privately educated but in Australia that number is around 35 per cent. We felt that Australia would be the best place for us to roll out to first though as we were inundated with requests for us to launch there."

We have no words for this. Finding 'The One' is now about class, your education and economic background. Some app users must agree with the idea, seeing as it's lifted off the ground so quickly.

Image: Boss Hunting

The website has some fairly divisive words to promote the Toffee beliefs and framework:

"Toffee is the world's first dating app for people who were privately educated. We set it up because we know people from similar backgrounds are more likely to stick together."

"Toffee connects the right people to help them find their match with our sophisticated matching algorithm taking care of all your dating homework."

An algorithm works to generate matches based on hobbies and likes, such as adventure, sport, nightlife, city life versus country life etc.

"The app has innovative personal interest and attributes 'sliders' where the user slides a cursor to show how much an interest in, for example, sport is important in their potential partner," the website continues.

"Secondly, whether it's a shared interest in horse racing or rugby, Toffee users can indicate which sporting and social events they are interested in or likely to attend, to further enhance the matching logic."

We're guessing it features a lot of chino-wearing polo players who love the conservative Tory party and probably got an overpaid job from their dad….

The hilarious ad for the app features ridiculously good-looking people (ugly folks don't go to private school, apparently) bonding over expensive champagne. They didn't stray too far from stereotypes, it would seem.

When it comes to influencers, some of the settings which are staged for that perfect shot look absolutely effortless. Too effortless, tbh… suspiciously effortless…

An absolutely gas video has been posted online by @TaylorLorenz which sheds light on the environmental factors which influencers endure.

Whether it's freezing cold weather, sunlight blazing in your eyes or just awkward angles, getting the perfect shot isn't as easy as it looks.

The video displays several influencers and bloggers jostling to take the perfect picture at an intersection in New York, 59th and 5th avenue;

They're working hard, to be fair; they've all gotta compete for the best image possible.

Apparently 59th and 5th is some kind of blogger hotspot, an aesthetically pleasing location which influencers have now plagued.

Some witty Twitter users have compared the video to a favourite dystopian show…

It is pretty reminiscent of THAT Bryce Dallas Howard episode, where everyone can rate each other and give points based on their image and personality, similar enough to Instagram.

Whether you find the video disturbing, hilarious, mediocre or just plain creepy, it says a lot about how different today's social media world is.

We are hugely entertained by the reaction tweets though… keep 'em coming.

As temperatures rise in Ireland this week, the ISPCA is sharing some tips and advice to help keep your pets safe during the hot weather.

ISPCA Public Relations Manager Carmel Murray id, ''We all love the summer sunshine but please plan in advance if you are bringing your pet anywhere with you in hot weather ensuring they won’t be left in a hot car for any length of time.

We want to protect our pets especially in warm weather – so follow these rules and keep them safe.

1. Avoid walking your dog during intense heat, early morning or evening walks is always best when it’s cooler.

2. If the pavement is too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws.

3. Always have fresh cool water available and access to shade from the sun.

Walk when cooler (1)

Carmel said, ''If your pet is showing signs of severe overheating, move them to a cooler area immediately, spray with cool (not cold) water, and give a small drink of water and contact your vet.''

She continued, ''It is important to know the signs of overheating such as increased heart rate with excessive panting and drooling, drowsy or out of sorts, vomiting or diarrhoea”.

Don't leave dogs in hot cars.

5. It is important to always have fresh water available for your pet; refresh and refill more often than on a normal day and leave extra if you are going out.

Summer Pet Hazards (1)

6. Make sure they have access to shade and keep them indoors in cooler rooms when the heat becomes too extreme.

7. All caged animals, even if they are indoors, should be kept out of direct sunlight.

8. Keep an eye on aviaries or birdcages, which are near to a window.

9. Remember household chemicals and common summer foods can be toxic to pets. If using sunscreen or insect repellent, please ensure the product is labelled as safe for use on pets.

10. If you are unsure about certain products consult your vet. Alcoholic or caffeinated beverages, chocolate, coconut, grapes or raisins, onions, raw meat or excessively salty foods or foods containing the sweetener xylitol can be toxic or cause serious health issues for your pet.

11. Keep them away from your pet during summer barbecues.

12. If you do witness an animal locked in a car on a hot day, try to establish how long the dog has been left in the car first, look for a pay and display a ticket on the dashboard.

13. If the pet is showing signs of distress and overheating contact the local Garda station immediately or dial 999 /112 in an emergency and call our National Animal Cruelty Helpline on 1890 515 515.

Enjoy this bit of nice weather and just ask sure to keep on eye on your pets – you want them to enjoy it too.

A new study by eating disorder charity Beat suggests that dating app users are "more likely to have unhealthy attitudes to weight".

Those who use dating apps might be at a higher risk of controlling their weight through laxative use, fasting and vomiting, according to the research.

The American study is based on a survey of 1,700 adults. Beat stated that dating app users at risk of these habits needed to be offered support in order to reduce the risk of bad weight management habits developing.

Apps like OkCupid, Grindr, Tinder and Bumble have grown massively in popularity over the last couple of years, with men and women hoping to find romantic and sexual partners through swiping.

Physical appearance is one of the main attributes which dating app users evaluate when searching for a potential partner, with emphasis placed firmly on a person's image.

The study was published in the Journal of Eating Disorders, with researchers comparing the behaviour of those who used dating apps versus those who didn't.

Dating app users apparently have higher odds of engaging in six core unhealthy habits to control weight; vomiting, using laxatives, diet pills, using muscle-building supplements and anabolic steroids.

183 women and 209 men out of the 1,726 people surveyed claimed they used dating apps. Roughly half of men and women admitted to fasting in order to control their weight.

One-in-three men in that group and one-in-five women said they would vomit to control their calorie count. 40 percent of men and one-in-four women claimed to use laxatives…yikes.

A post shared by  (@bumble_uk) on

The research also showed that men who used dating apps were more likely to use steroids and supplements to build up muscle, which isn't surprising considering the six-packs constantly displayed on reality shows like Love Island.

The lead author of the study from Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health, Dr Alvin Tran, said they found higher rates of unhealthy behaviours among ethnic minorities, interestingly.

"While we do not know if the people in our study were already engaging in these weight control behaviours before using dating apps, we worry that the use of these image and appearance-focused services could exacerbate those behaviours."

He continued;

"With the tremendous growth in dating app usage in the US, and an increasing number of studies linking their use to body image concerns and unhealthy weight control behaviours, there is a need to further understand how dating apps influence health behaviours and outcomes."

Tom Quinn, director external affairs at Beat, said they welcome studies which can help to identify triggers of eating disorders.

"Not everyone who uses unhealthy weight control behaviours will have an eating disorder, nor will they get one, but such behaviours can contribute to the development of the illnesses for people who are already vulnerable and can prevent recovery for those who are ill."

He added; "It is important to note that this research does not prove a causal link between dating apps and unhealthy weight control behaviours.

"Nevertheless, it is important that dating app users who may be at risk of eating disorders are directed to sources of support."

A smartphone app has been designed to manage negative emotions and periods of anxiety in order to reduce self-harm in young people, new data has revealed.

BlueIce is a prescribed app and is created to be used alongside face-to-face therapies, overseen by medical professionals.

Clinical psychologist Professor Paul Stallard, of the University of Bath, developed the app in conjunction with patient groups.

A number of papers published in the Journal of Medical Internet Research emphasise that the app could help tackle self-harm in young people.

Head of psychological therapies for Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust, Prof Stallard, claims the idea for BlueIce came about as a result of his work with child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS).

“Many of the young people I was working with were self-harming but nearly all had their mobile phone close by,” he said.

“Our young people’s participation group at Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust thought that a smartphone app could be a way of helping at times of distress, and with their input we produced BlueIce," he continued

“It helps the young person to monitor and manage their unpleasant emotions and to find alternative ways of coping," Prof Stallard added.

“Feedback from young users has been overwhelmingly positive, and there’s a huge potential for it to make a difference to young lives across the UK and internationally.”

BlueIce refers to low mood and ICE (in case of emergency) and is now included on the NHS Apps Library, which holds apps which have undergone technical and clinical reviews.

The app has a mood wheel for young people to keep track of their mood every day, adding notes on their current emotions and actions

The user is immediately routed to a mood-lifting section if a low mood is reported, which has activities designed to reduce distress.

Options include ideas from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and personalised mindfulness guides, images and music.

BlueIce can also take users to emergency contacts like Childline and the 111 service.

Professor Stallard assessed the influence of using the app for three months on a group of 40 young people aged between 12 and 17.

He discovered that 73 percent of those involved either stopped self-harming or reduced it as a result of the app.

BlueIce is currently being used by CAMHS services in Bath, North East Somserset, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Oxfordshire and Wiltshire.

It's also being evaluated in a randomised controlled trial undertaken across Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust and at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute in Melbourne.

Professor Stallard will start a trial in September to analyse whether BlueIce reduces the number of young people taken to A&E.

Vodafone Ireland Foundation has announced the launch of Bright Sky Ireland, a free app that connects victims of domestic violence and abuse to support services across Ireland.

This app is the latest addition to Vodafone Foundation’s domestic violence project, which uses connectivity to help support those affected by domestic abuse here and across Europe.

Bright Sky Ireland is created with the UK-based domestic abuse charity Hestia, along with Women’s Aid Ireland and An Garda Síochána.

So how does it work?

Users can locate their nearest support center by searching their area, eircode or current location.

They will also have to fill out a short questionnaire that will help them assess the safety of a relationship while also providing information about different forms of abuse such as sexual violence, stalking, and harassment.

The app also highlights the types of supports available, steps to consider if leaving an abusive relationship and how to help a friend affected by domestic abuse.

As well as all of that, the app contains a ground-breaking feature designed to log incidents of domestic abuse without any content being saved on the device itself.

It works by allowing users to send information about incidents in a secure digital journal, using a text, audio, video or photo function.

Evidence collated through this function will enable Gardaí to intervene and can help secure prosecutions.

According to Vodafone Foundation, statistics regarding domestic abuse are terrifying – 31% of Irish workers have experienced some form of domestic abuse while  63% experienced psychological abuse and control.

Also, 47% experienced physical violence, 23% experienced sexual violence or abuse and 19% experienced stalking.

Sarah Benson, Executive Director of Women’s Aid said, ''A very important feature of the app is the myth-busting information as well as quiz to help people recognise the signs of abuse.''

She continued, ''However, our biggest hope is that the ability to log incidents of abuse whether it’s photos, text notes or recordings, will help women experiencing abuse gather the pattern of evidence they need to avail of legal protection and secure convictions of the new crime of coercive control.”

This is fantastic news and we hope women in need will avail of this service.

Kissing is fun, everybody knows that. But who would have known that the act of smooching can actually give you HEALTH BENEFITS?

Does it heal your broken heart, clear your skin and boost your immune system? You're about to find out.

Strap yourselves in ladies, here are each and every glorious health benefit of puckering up. You should probably find someone to practice on…you know, for the sake of your body. It's a temple, isn't it?

Just don't do it like this:

mr bean love GIF

According to a 2009 scientific study, when we kiss somebody, our bodies release hormones which can actually ease stress. In the case of men, it increases bonding too. We love a good bromance alert.

Oral healthcare, anyone?

Now, we're not saying that you shouldn't brush your teeth or use mouthwash, but allegedly, a good kiss marathon is great news for your teeth and gums. How? Listen up:

Andréa Demirjian, author of Kissing: Everything You Ever Wanted to Know about One of Life’s Sweetest Pleasures, explains:

“When you’re kissing, you’re secreting more saliva in your mouth. That’s the mechanism that washes away the plaque on your teeth that leads to cavities.” A shift a day keeps the dental plaque away, girlos.

It acts as a painkiller (Seriously)

Your achy, break-y heart deserves some attention. Especially when you've got some form of cramps, like your time of the month.

Apparently, some lip action actually helps to reduce the effects of chronic pain. Some savvy scientists at Current Pharmaceutical Design conducted some research into smooching, learned that the “cuddle hormone” oxytocin is packed full of analgesic painkilling properties.

Oxytocin s released whenever you kiss and hug your partner, so do it as much as possible, we say. Blood vessel dilation after a good kissing sesh is great for reducing aches and pains, so when you're on your period, pucker up. You NEED it, right?

Hayfever or Bae-fever?

Anyone who suffers from allergies can rejoice at this news; apparently kissing eases itchy eyes and snotty noses (ew).

Researchers at Satou Hospital in Japan investigated the protective effect of kissing against allergies, and claim that locking lips for only 30 minutes can do wonders for the immune system.

It decreases the release of histamine (the chemical which is produced in response to allergens) as it relaxes you, and also can work miracles for eczema sufferers. Is there anything a great shift can't do?

No pressure, honeys

So apparently, kissing can even reduce your blood pressure? We've all felt butterflies in our stomachs and a weakening of the ol' knees, as well as a quickening heartbeat, and now we've figured out that kissing passionately does even more:

Demirjian explains: “It gets your heartbeat revved in a healthy way that lowers your blood pressure. It dilates the blood vessels, allowing blood to flow more freely, taking pressure off your organs, especially your heart and brain.”

Hot Diggedy Damn, we're 100 percent HERE for this science.

Feel Better In Love GIF

Let's talk about sex, baby, let's talk about you + me

Your sex life gets some HELLA drastic improvements from kissing; the two go together like Grace & Frankie, like women and vibrators, like Netflix and chill. You get the idea.

Kissing is also WAY more likely to increase your chances of having an orgasm. Lord knows we could use some of those…

As Carol Queen, the staff sexologist at Good Vibrations, explains;

“Kissing is a powerful type of foreplay… it helps increase the chances that both partners will have a good and pleasurable erotic experience.”

Face the Facts

So BASICALLY, kissing involves more than 30 facial muscles, which can be given a major workout from a good kiss.

According to Demirjian, tongue wrestling can strengthen your neck and jawline – very good news, as these are particularly tricky spots to exercise on a daily basis.

“Your mouth has a number of facial muscles,” she says. “When those are engaged in kissing, you can tighten and tone them.”

Tighten and tone, you say? Sign us up.

2019 Mood

A perfectly-timed kiss can be the ideal mood booster. If scientists are saying it, then it must be true, right?

Puckering up can give your body a big-time release of happiness hormones, such as serotonin, oxytocin and dopamine. Ooh la la.

Those hormonal bad boys can help you relax, restore and revitalise your system. What more could you need?
