Fun night out – new circus fusion of acrobatics, music & dance at Slane Castle
Determined to encourage ladies to don eir sparkles and sequins for a performance to remember – Circus Gerbola presents A Celtic Voyage, supported by the Arts Council of Ireland. This very special show running from 8 – 17th October, sees three of Ireland’s circus families come together for the first time in history to create a brand-new show, live in Slane Castle. A Celtic Voyage incorporates contemporary circus acts creatively combined with live music and dance to deliver a show worthy of Las Vegas success.
With live events on hold for over 18-months, this very special ‘Ladies Night’ is Ireland’s first licensed Circus Show at Slane Castle, with VIP Prosecco Pods of six, available ringside for the evening performances. The unique fusion of Circus acts with live Irish traditional music and Riverdance is a spectacular production that you won’t want to miss during the limited run of shows from 8th – 17th October.

This show is worthy of Cirque du Soleil success, our dream is to be seen in the same light as Riverdance when it first performed as an interval act in the Eurovision.”
“We hope to inspire people from across Ireland to see ‘A Celtic Voyage’ live at Slane Castle, in the same way they would travel to the big cities of Dublin and Cork to see a live event, musical or theatre production. Our daytime shows will be largely attended by families, while our evening performances are licensed events with alcohol refreshments available before and during the intermission.”
A Celtic Voyage will be an eclectic 2-hour performance, combining elements of live traditional Irish music, dancing with the talented Riverdance’s talented Jean Kennedy, along with spellbinding acts from both the contemporary circus.
Tickets are priced at €17.50 and must be pre-booked in advance online from circusgerbola.ie. The Big Top will feature theatre seating, traditional ringside seating, and private boxes. All purchased seats will be assigned directly by the Circus to comply with social distancing and Covid-19 recommendations. Adults attending the circus must be fully vaccinated. Proof of vaccination will be requested upon arrival.
