Love Island’s Zara Deniz reveals partner has ‘stolen from her’
Zara Deniz has spoken out after she was ‘stolen from’ by a partner.
The former Love Island star appeared on the hit dating show during the winter series at the beginning of this year, but was dumped from the villa shortly after.
Deniz has now warned her fans to ‘be careful who they let into their lives’ after speaking about what recently happened to her.
Zara opened up about the ordeal online, revealing a man who ‘she was involved with’ had ‘stolen from her’. She hasn’t revealed the man’s identity as of yet.
While describing the situation on social media, the 26-year-old revealed she has learnt a ‘life lesson’ after being ‘stolen from’.
Sharing a statement to her 158K followers on her Instagram Stories, the former Love Islander explained, “Ladies! Please be careful who you let into your life!”.
“I consider myself an intelligent person, yet still I managed to become involved with a guy who has now stolen from me”.
“Life lesson: You never really know a person's true intentions until they reveal it to you”.
She continued, “I feel now being a public figure it's made me more susceptible to this kind of abuse”.
“Still I won't let their treatment of me keep me down! I'm a strong woman with an amazing support system, I will get through this”.
Zara ended her message by saying, “My heart aches for those who go through this and aren't in the same position as me”.
During her time on Love Island, Zara was coupled up with Tom Clare before she was dumped just a few short weeks after joining the South African villa.
Zara had to leave the show after Tom decided to couple up with Ellie Spence instead of her, although he later went on to date Samie Elishi.
After returning home, Zara went on to spend time with her co-star Jordan Odofin, but following two weeks of dating, they decided to call it quits and kept their ‘fun friendship’ platonic.
