Celtic World Forum shares schedule for this September’s event
Celtic World Forum is back!
This year, the festival is returning for its second year at the Irish Institute of Music & Song in Balbriggan, Co. Dublin. The event, which will be running from Thursday, September 5 to Saturday, September 7, celebrates Celtic music through insightful sessions, performances, and workshops, showcasing more talent than ever before!
The festival will be led by Grammy nominated singer Éabha McMahon, and visitors will be able to immerse themselves in Irish Traditional, Folk, and Celtic music through talks, panels, workshops, song circles and concerts. The highly-anticipated event will also introduce new talent to a global audience.
Speaking about this September’s festival, Éabha McMahon, the founder of the Celtic World Forum, gushed: “Celtic World Forum was set up to showcase and celebrate Irish Music at its finest and most engaging, featuring unique collaborations and fostering a real sense of Celtic community.”
The schedule is now available to view online, highlighting a variety of talks and performances across its three days of events. Éabha McMahon, Séamus and Caoimhe Uí Flathairte, Tara Howley, Mairéad Nesbitt, Moya Brennan, Fergus Cahillane, Eimear Quinn and many more will be taking part!
