Fanta reveals Irish scares ahead of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice release

Ahead of the highly-anticipated release of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice on September 6, Fanta has revealed the top quirky fears that keep the Irish population up at night. 

From the horror of unexpected guests showing up to a less-than-pristine house, to the dreaded thought of telling the hairdresser you’re not happy with your new trim, it’s clear that the Irish public’s true fears are very removed from Halloween scares of ghosts and ghouls!

The research is being unveiled to mark the arrival of the limited-edition Fanta Beetlejuice Beetlejuice range of cans, bottles and multipacks cans available in retainers nationwide now.

Coming in at a close second at 29% is the hair-raising fear of telling the hairdresser you’re not happy with your haircut. Rounding out the top three is a classic Irish panic for 18% of respondents – leaving the immersion on.  

When it comes to the animal kingdom, 31% of respondents confessed that critters and creepy-crawlies give them the heebie-jeebies. Spiders, in particular, send shivers down the spines of over 10% of people. In spite of these terrors, 74% of the public are bravely battling irrational fears every day.

The new range of cans launches as Fanta and Warner Bros. Pictures announce a global partnership ahead of the release of the highly anticipated movie Beetlejuice Beetlejuice to bring a taste of the Afterlife to film fanatics.
