Cloud 10 reveals their top beauty trends of 2024

With 2024 drawing to a close, it’s time to take a look back on all of the beauty trends we’ve been loving over the past year. 

From fun experimentation with makeup and glowy skin, to trying new hairstyles and reshaping our brows, 2024 saw a lot of trends come and go over the past 12 months. 

As we reflect on this year, Cloud 10 has revealed the hottest beauty trends that we all loved!

Sun-Kissed Glow

In 2024, the sun-kissed glow wasn’t just about the face, it was a full-body affair. The trend embraced luminous, bronzed skin that looked healthy and radiant, as if kissed by the sun. Self-tanning drops, gradual tanning lotions, and shimmer-infused body oils were the ultimate tools for achieving that golden glow. TAN-LUXE The Face Illuminating Self-Tan Drops, NUXE Huile Prodigieuse Gold Shimmer Oil and Vita Liberata Body Blur were stand outs. 

Bouncy Blowout

The timeless glamour of a bouncy blowout dominated in 2024, mostly thanks to Sabrina Carpenter! Voluminous, healthy hair stole the show, with movement and shine taking centre stage. Gone were the days of stiff, overstyled waves, instead, soft, touchable ‘old money’ curls became the ultimate goal. ghd Duet Blowdry Volumising Hair Dryer Brush, Kérastase Elixir Ultime Hair Oil L'Huile Originale and Moroccanoil Finish Luminous Hairspray helped to achieve this look.

Lip Oils

Lip oils truly had their moment in 2024, and now we’re never looking back. These hybrid products combined the hydration of a balm with the subtle shine of a gloss, making them a favourite among low-maintenance beauty lovers. The trend leaned towards juicy, translucent shades that enhanced natural lip colour while keeping them soft and supple. Our favorite trend to come out this year. NUXE Reve De Miel Honey Lip Care Oil, Kash Beauty Lip Oil and Stila Heaven's Dew Gel Lip Oil were loved by many. 

Fluffy Brows

Brows continued to be a focal point in beauty, and the fluffy brow trend remained strong throughout the past year. The look was polished yet natural, think full, feathery brows with a defined shape. Enhancing what you’ve got with a soft touch, rather than overly dramatic arches or blocky shapes, was key and we hope to see more of it in 2025. Blusher

Blusher made a major comeback in 2024, and we’re so here for it! From bold berry shades to soft peaches and even bright pinks, blush became the secret weapon for waking up complexions and adding a youthful flush. Placement and technique took centre stage to give a new look with different applications. PIXI On-The-Glow Blush, Kevyn Aucoin Color Stick Blush and Made By Mitchell Blursh were top blushes this year.
