A €3 million urban food market planned for St Andrew’s Church
A new food market is set to open in the city centre – and it looks like it's going to be huge.
The Herald has reported that St Andrew's Church will transform itself into an urban foodie hub, which will cost an extimated €3 million to build.
The owner of The Wright Venue, Michael Wright, is seeking planning permission for the Suffolk Street spot, as he wishes to build the market within the church.
If everything goes to plan, the food market could see 120 new jobs being brought into the area.
It's proposed to open in June 2018, and the foodie in us is dying for this to go ahead.
