A very lucky person is now living the Instagram fashion dream

If there were any fashionistas out there hoping to turn their expertly curated Instagram feeds into a professional venture, we are so sorry but someone already beat you to it.

Instagram has become a style hub in recent times so we were not surprised to hear that they need a Head of Fashion to manage it all. Seeing as we sometimes rely on the social media site for serious fashion inspiration from time to time, we were actually kind of relieved.

The dream role of millions worldwide was bestowed upon former Lucky magazine editor-in-chief Eva Chen. She has 395,000 followers, just FYI.

An Instagram spokesperson has explained why Eva was chosen for the position and how she’s a perfect fit with the app.

“Eva understands all sides of the fashion community — from the craft of couture to street style, style icons to aspiring models, and storied fashion houses to emerging designers.”

She will take on the head of fashion partnerships role. Meaning she will be using her social media savvy to work with fashion bloggers and brands to promote Instagram’s role in the fierce world of fashion.

Eva even has her own hashtag on Insta, so you know she’s a legit die hard user of the ‘gram. She’s known on the app for a little something called the #EvaChenPose.

Quite simple: rock some on trend footwear, cross your feet and lie yourself across the back of a taxi. Oh, and don’t forget to show off your favourite bag while you’re at it.
