WTF! Abercrombie & Fitch is set to SUE this Claremorris shop
Fashion mega-brand and noughties favourite Abercrombie & Fitch has filed High Court action against a small clothes shop in Claremorris, Co Mayo.
What issue could a huge fashion house like A&F have with a local Mayo business?
Well it's all down to a debate about the name, according to The Times.
A&F claims that the stores name and logo breaches the copyright of the Hollister brand.
The shop, called Holly Star uses an eagle as its brand logo, while Hollister's branding utilises the silhouette of a seagull.
The shop stocks mens, womens, and childrens clothing, including brands like Freddy, Oaklands and Super Dry, which can be seen on their Facebook page.
