Acting industry mourns passing of comedy star this morning
The world of TV and film are in mourning today following the death of popular comedy actor and stand-up performer, Taylor Negron.
The talented and much-admired Taylor tragically lost his battle with cancer yesterday morning and passed away surrounding by loved ones.
Taking to the internet to inform fans of the sad news, Taylor's cousin, Chuck Negron, said: "I want to inform you that my cousin Taylor Negron passed away. His mother, my brother Alex, his brother Rene and his wife Julie were all there with him. May he rest in peace."
57-year-old Taylor enjoyed a successful acting career, spanning almost four decades, and appeared in cult teen classic Fast Times at Ridgement High as well as prime time TV hits such as Curb Your Enthusiasm, Friends, Seinfeld and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
Stars and performers from the world of acting and comedy have taken to social media to express their sadness at Taylor's passing, with Modern Family star Eric Stonestreet, saying: "I admired Taylor Negron very much. He was a funny man. Rest in Peace."
Star of Meet the Parents and Night at the Museum, Ben Stiller also took a moment to remember the late performer, saying: "Taylor was a very smart, funny caring individual with a unique comedic voice. #RESPECT"
