Actress confirms that she’s expecting her first child

Zoe Saldana finally puts an end to all of those rumours and has confirmed, through her publicist that she’s expecting her first child.

Her rep says that Zoe and her husband Marco Perego will welcome their first child later this year.

Rumours started that the actress might be expecting, when she was spotted with what looked like a baby bump at the Guardians of the Galaxy.

The actress spoke previously of how she would love to have children with Marco.

"Or four or five! I don't care. They're just so delicious. I love the anxiety, the pressure of the loud room full of yapping kids. But I'm a kid myself. I get along very well with animals and children. I dig them. I get them. They make perfect sense to me. A child makes perfect sense to me. A child speaks more sense than an adult half of the time."
