Aisling Bea shares rare glimpse of first child after giving birth
Aisling Bea has shared a glimpse into her labour experience!
Last month, the This Way Up star announced that she had welcomed her first child with her partner, producer Jack Freeman.
The couple, who have been in a relationship since August 2022, have yet to reveal the gender or name of their little one to the world.
Now, after becoming a mum for the first time, Aisling has shared a rare insight into her experience so far.
Earlier today, the 40-year-old took to Instagram to post a snap of herself after labour, holding up a single crisp to the camera. In the corner of Aisling’s hilarious photo, fans have been able to catch a glimpse of her tiny newborn, as she cradles her little one in her arms.
“The best thing that happened to me last month was being given this crisp after 11 hours of not eating or drinking anything during a heat wave,” she explained.
“It was such a special crisp and moment and one I’ll never forget. Thanks to the person who delivered this crisp to me. I’ll never forget it,” the Taskmaster comedian gushed further.
In a later caption edit, Aisling went on to clarify to fans: “Thank you for asking, alas it was not a Tayto, but a very run of the mill ready salted mid brand that gave me faith in the average joe of crisps. We can all be heroes, even just for one day.”
Following her sweet update, many of Aisling’s 817K followers have been taking to her comments section to express their well-wishes.
“Aww fantastic congratulations to you and your crisp,” one fan replied.
“Congratulations on your gorgeous little spud xx now the real fun begins!!” another added.
On August 26, Aisling chose to announce the arrival of her first child by jokingly writing a “Trip advisor review of pregnancy”. Alongside several snaps of her blossoming bump, Aisling also included a hospital photo of herself and her newborn.
“Was given a little gift at check out which is, admittedly, quite cute,” she teased at the end of her joke review.
