Anna Faris thanks fans for support following spilt from Chris Pratt
Anna Faris has thanked her fans for their love and support in an emotional statement on her podcast, Anna Faris is Unqualified.
Last week, fans of the actress were left devastated by the news and she and husband, Chris Pratt, had decided to split after eight years of marriage.
The beloved Hollywood couple announced their separation in a joint statement on Facebook and Twitter, admitting they had “tried hard for a long time.”
After initially saying they wanted to keep the situation “as private as possible,” Anna has finally broken her silence.
“Hey, dear listeners. I just want to thank you all so much for all the love I’ve been receiving, and I truly love you.”
The actress often uses her podcast to discuss personal matters and has previously hinted at struggles in her relationship, leading some fans to believe that her marriage may have been trouble for some time.
“My long-distance relationship with Chris, I wouldn’t describe it as that, but we do spend a lot of time apart,” she said in May of this year.
On July 31, just days before the pair announced their split, Anna admitted she often felt lonely and uncomfortable:
“There’s definitely a loneliness and, like, an internal element to being a performer.”
“I feel like I have to laugh. Like, if I have a red carpet thing or whatever, which I’m never comfortable, but I’m always like, “I’m fine!” And it never feels like me.”
Chris Pratt made his first public appearance since the split at the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday night, though he did not comment on the situation.
