Argh matey! Conor McGregor’s Game of Thrones role is revealed

There was a flurry of excitement earlier this month at the suggestion that Conor McGregor could be starring in the new season of Game of Thrones, and the reports have now been confirmed!

It was UFC president Dana White who shared the news, during an interview with Fox Sports.

When the subject of Conor’s rumoured cameo role was raised, White said: “I did hear that, and I knew that a few months ago, that they were interested in putting him on the show. I’m glad he did it. It will be great.”

It didn’t take long for details of Conor’s character to hit the ‘net either, with fan site Watchers on the Wall divulging some very interesting information.

Apparently, Conor will play a pirate on Euron Greyjoy’s ship crew in season seven of the HBO show. It’s believed that his will be a small ‘cameo’ role.

Needless to say, Twitter went into overdrive over the news, and GoT fans are very excited to see Conor starring in their fave show.
