Ashlee Simpson gets engaged to Diana Ross’s son

Ashlee Simpson is set to marry Evan Ross after dating since last June.

The son of The Supremes singer Diana Ross, Evan popped the question to the singer on a getaway break to the very romantic island of Hawaii.

The singer tweeted last night; “My baby love and I are ENGAGED!!! Hallelujah Hawaii!!!!!”

Ashlee, Jessica Simpson’s little sister, has a five year old son, Bronx Mogli with ex-husband Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy fame.

The ring looks to be vintage inspired with a marquise cut diamond. We like it. We like it a lot.
