Aston & Sarah Merrygold pen moving messages to mark anniversary
It’s a big day for Aston and Sarah Louise Merrygold!
The JLS band member and dancer are celebrating their second wedding anniversary.
To mark the special marriage milestone, Aston and Sarah wrote emotional tributes for each other on social media and reflected on the day they said 'I do'.
Firstly, Aston took to Instagram to share a collection of lovely photos from his and Sarah’s wedding day.
The Beat Again singer captioned the post, “Happy anniversary to my dance partner for life.. Mrs Merrygold you are without a doubt something special! Here’s to many more years of laughing, dancing, learning, living and loving.. most importantly many more years of US!”.
“I have said it before and I’ll continue to say it until my last.. this really doesn’t work without you and there isn’t another soul on this crazy planet I’d rather do life with! I LUCKED OUT! Happy anniversary wife.. I love you”.
Merrygold closed off by revealing, “Side bar – the 5 year celebration countdown starts now (as Riley missed the first)”.
Sarah then shared her sweet message for Aston on Instagram alongside a clip from the speech her husband gave on their big day.
She captioned the video, “2 whole years as your wife. Happy 2nd wedding anniversary to my Husband. where do I even start with you! Ok I’ll start with a small section of your speech which to this day gives me goosebumps”.
“I never imagined I could ever be this happy. You are my everything! You are not just my husband, you are my home, my heart, my comfort blanket and when I’m with you I feel like I can do anything. You are my best friend, my soulmate my one and I love you with every piece of me”.
Sarah continued, “You are most definitely still the fun uncle (when you’re not too tired) but you are also the most incredible dad to our 3 babies. We all lucked out the most with you! Thank you for being our constant, the one who always makes it feel better just by being there. We love you so so much and I promise to love you this hard for the rest of my life, I really do”.
“Our wedding day was so special, I can’t really describe the feeling that was in that room but it was pure love and a forever memory. Thank you for the best day and for making me your wife”.
She also agreed with Aston about marking their 5-year anniversary with a party by adding, “Now let’s do it all again in a few years time (well maybe just a party) for little Miss Riley who is a bit livid she missed out. Happy 2nd wedding anniversary Mr Merrygold, you will always be my forever”.
Aston and Sarah share three children together- sons six-year-old Grayson and three-year-old Macaulay, as well as a six-month-old daughter named Riley.
