Big Brother style! Katy Perry is live-streaming her entire weekend
Katy Perry is going Big Brother style with her promotion for her new album, Witness.
The singer is hosting a live-stream all weekend, but don't think it's going to be a parties and promos.
Katy began her live-stream with a therapy session with Dr Siri Nam Singh.
According to News.com.au, the session was very emotional and Katy opened up about a whole range of issues including depression, drinking and experiencing suicidal thoughts.
“I wrote a song about it,” the singer explained. “I feel ashamed that I would even have those thoughts, feel that low and that depressed.
“That’s the point of this whole thing, if people can see I’m just like them then they can dream just as big.
“I’m a bit more nerdy than everybody thinks I am, I’m a big goofball. The fantasy of Kathryn went into Katy and made this bigger than life personality.”
The singer even opened up about her alter-ego of Katy Perry, and said that sometimes she just wants to be Kathryn Hudson again.
“I so badly want to be Kathryn Hudson that I don’t even want to look like Katy Perry any more, sometimes.”
Right now, Katy is just about to kick off speaking to a scientist, Neil. If you want to tune in, check out here.
