Bono tells concert crowds Adam Clayton and his wife are expecting

It seems congratulations are in order for U2 bassist Adam Clayton and his wife, Mariana de Carvalho – they're expecting a baby!

The news was announced last night during the band's Twickenham gig, and it was front man Bono who blurted out the news himself.

Many who were at the concert tweeted about it last night:

While Adam and Mariana have not confirmed the news, we doubt Bono was messing around.

The U2 star and his Brazilian wife wed in 2013, and this will be their first child as a married couple.
