BREAKING: Mel and Sue have now QUIT The Great British Bake Off
Just hours after it was confirmed that The Great British Bake Off would be leaving the BBC and heading to Channel 4, fans of the shows have been dealt yet another blow.
According to a report on the BBC, Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins have decided to step out of the famous, confectionary-filled tent for the last time.
After six years hosting the super popular baking competition, the two hosts made the decision to leave the programme after making their position on the situation clear.

"We were very shocked and saddened to learn yesterday evening that Bake Off will be moving from its home," they said.
"We made no secret of our desire for the show to remain where it was," they continued. "The BBC nurtured the show from its infancy and helped give it its distinctive warmth and charm, growing it from an audience of two million to nearly 15 at its peak."
In a puntastic statement Mary Berry would be proud of, the hosts said: "We've had the most amazing time on Bake Off, and have loved seeing it rise and rise like a pair of yeasted Latvian baps,"
"We're not going with the dough. We wish all the future bakers every success," they added.
Channel 4 have signed a three-year agreement with the programmes production company, Love Productions.
Ladies, it's the end of an era.
