Finally it’s GOOD news: BREAKING update on Lamar Odom’s condition
Following his collapse on Tuesday evening, Lamar Odom has been in a serious condition in a Las Vegas hospital.
Indeed, surrounded by those closest to him, the 6ft 10in basketball star was reportedly given only a 50/50 chance of survival.
However, there is now a glimmer of hope: TMZ reports that the 35-year-old's heart is actually on the mend. A series of make-or-break tests were carried out this morning and his heart function is seemingly significantly better than feared.
"Doctors have told Lamar's friends and family this is a good sign of improvement, that a critical organ is responding," TMZ adds.
And medics are also hopeful he did not suffer brain damage – primarily because he was never deprived of oxygen for any significant length of time.
To encourage better healing, those treating him have furthermore asked for "calm" at all times in Mr Odom's room. This means that while Khloe Kardashian, 31, is still by Lamar's bedside, very few others are allowed access.
The main fear expressed by his medical team, however? Lamar suffered a series of strokes while in hospital – the long-term impact of which have yet to determined.
