Britney and Iggy’s duet is completely contagious
The summer tune of 2015 has been all-but confirmed as Pretty Girls – the positively infectious new tune from Britney Spears and Iggy Izalea.
Released yesterday, it’s already getting serious air-time.
“I saw her video and I was just a huge fan,” Britney told New York’s Z100 radio station this week of how the collaboration came about. “I was thinking about my next single for my next album and what I was gonna do, and I wanted to do a girl anthem," she added. "Something that was very girl empowering and that was kinda funny.”

Electro-pop infused Pretty Girls, which runs to less than three minutes, has strands of Gwen Stefani’s Hollaback Girl. It was put together by the Invisible Men, the London-based production and writing trio that have also worked with Girls Aloud, Sugababes, Jessie J, and Coldplay.

"She invited me to her house, and I met her dog and we had salads,” Britney contined. “She's a very sweet girl. We hit it off.”
Although the video has yet to be released, we were given a glimpse of what’s to come last month when the pair were seen filming in an array of Eighties-inspired attire: there were leopard-print crop tops, double denim, and neon accessories.
And Iggy and Brit Brit have confirmed that they will perform the song live at the Billboard Music Awards on May 17, held in Las Vegas.
