Based in New Jersey, The Baked Bouquet specialises in edible floral displays created to look EXACTLY like your favourite flowers.
The store operates exactly like a florist’s: you pick your bouquet, type of flower and size. Instead of arranging a flower display though, the team whips up a batch of delicious cupcakes in their back-room bakery.
The team will recreate anything, once it grows in the ground: ‘hydrangeas’, ‘roses’ – they even have a black bloom bouquet!
Made with 100 per cent pure buttercream (oh, there goes more saliva), there is even a gluten-free option for those so inclined.
Chatting about the inspiration behind The Baked Bouquet, ‘Head Unicorn’ Wissam Elgimal says: “Sending flowers is like saying, ‘Here, watch these die.’”
