Calvin Harris proves he’s serious about Taylor with Instagram snap
Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift have been dating for the last month or so, but until now we weren't sure if they had the potential to last in the long term.
For one thing, reports earlier this week accused Calvin of cheating on his last girlfriend Aarika Wolf with Taylor, something that's not exactly the hallmark of a great boyfriend.
To make things even more difficult for the pair, Calvin is apparently horribly allergic to cat hair, which is bound to be a problem given that Taylor is a self-confessed crazy cat lady who refuses to travel without her pets by her side.
Despite those difficulties, Scottish DJ Calvin wants to prove he's in this relationship for the long haul, if his latest Instagram post is anything to go by.
Earlier this morning, Calvin shared this brilliant snap of Taylor's two feline besties, Meredith Grey and Olivia Benson, with the caption "Moment."
While it's not exactly a marriage proposal, we reckon Taylor's pretty chuffed that her new man is making the effort to get to know more about her life, and is even braving an allergic reaction to do so. That's commitment.
The Shake It Off singer opened up about her dating woes in a recent interview with Glamour US, saying the media refused to allow her to have a normal love life like any other twenty-something.
"I think the media has sent me a really unfair message over the past couple of years, which is that I’m not allowed to date for excitement, or fun, or new experiences or learning lessons," she admitted. "I’m only allowed to date if it’s for a lasting, multiple-year relationship. Otherwise I’m a, quote, ‘serial dater’. Or, quote, ‘boy crazy.’"
Hopefully this new relationship works out for Taylor.
