Celebs react to new round of leaked nude pics
Celebrities have reacted to the latest slew of leaked nude photos to hit the internet over the weekend.
Kim Kardashian, Rihanna, Kate Bosworth, Vanessa Hudgens, Gabrielle Union and Amber Heard are among those who reportedly had their iCloud accounts hacked.
Amber was among those worst affected. The actress, who is engaged to actor Johnny Depp, appeared in over 50 of the leaked snaps. One of them was clearly taken for her fiancé – in it she holds a sign reading "Tonto", in reference to Johnny's character in The Lone Ranger.
As for Rihanna, two topless pictures – one with her breasts censored – were uploaded to Reddit yesterday morning and then quickly deleted.
Although many of the stars have kept quiet since the news emerged, some were quick to make public statements confirming the photos were real.
Gabriele Union released a joint statement to TMZ with husband Dwayne Wade, revealing that she has already contacted the FBI in relation to the published photos of her. "It has come to our attention that our private moments, that were shared and deleted solely between my husband and myself, have been leaked by some vultures," the statement read.
"For anyone out there also being affected by these and other hacking and hate crimes – We send our love, support and prayers… We have done nothing wrong."
A bit of a shaky start to the pair's new marriage – they tied the knot only a few weeks ago!
There has been no word from Kim Kardashian's camp about the leaked snaps of her, but husband Kanye looked decidedly upset yesterday as her was pictured arriving at LAX airport.
Vanessa Hudgens – who is apparently shown fully nude in the leaked pictures – is worried this new round of images will seriously damage her career, according to a source. This is not the first time the star has been affected in this way – back in 2007 she apologised publicly to fans after intimate pictures appeared online.
"She has learned to accept that it happened before and there really isn’t anything she can do about it,” an insider revealed to Hollywood Life. “She is still upset, and now that it has happened again, she is even more rocked by it because she really wants to be known as a serious actress. She is very upset and is looking to have her people do something about it more strongly this time.”
A number of unseen Jennifer Lawrence nudes were also uploaded, according to reports. The Hunger Games star has yet to make comment but she has appeared in public a small number of times since the first photos of her leaked last month.
