My Old Lady

Starring Kevin Kline, Kristin Scott-Thomas and the wonderful Maggie Smith, this British comedy-drama tells the story of a New Yorker, down on his luck, who inherits a Parisian apartment, but finds it comes with a little catch! A feel-good movie perfect for a winter evening.

 

The Homesman

This Western, directed by Tommy Lee Jones, follows the journey of three women who begin to show signs of insanity as a result of pioneer life and must be escorted, by wagon, to Iowa in search of assistance. Starring Hilary Swank and Meryl Streep, this film boasts powerful performances from its star studded cast.

 

Get on Up

November 21st

Chronicling the life of world famous recording artist, James Brown, this film details the musician's early days in extreme poverty through to his ultimate rise to fame and fortune. Dubbed the Godfather of Soul, this star didn't have an easy rise to the top, but never stopped pursuing his dream. This bio- drama is definitely worth a watch and is, unsurprisingly, jam packed with his greatest hits!
