Cheryl Cole admits she was close to a breakdown

Cheryl Cole has admitted that she was close to a breakdown during a candid interview in Elle magazine.

The August issue looks set to be Cheryl’s most in-depth interview ever, as the star talks about “betrayals by both friends and lovers” as well as being fired from The X Factor US.

Apparently, the interview will also feature the exact text that she sent to Simon Cowell when she found out she was let go by the show.

Eek – now that we want to see!

The issue is set to go on sale July 3rd.
