Cheryl speaks out about Malaria ordeal

Cheryl has opened up about her Malaria ordeal and how she was told by doctors at the time, that she had only 24 hours to live.

It’s been four years since Cheryl was diagnosed with Malaria following a trip to Tananzia.

The X Factor judge has decided to speak out about her ordeal in order to raise awareness.

“I didn’t for one minute think that only a year later I would get malaria myself and become so ill that at one point I was given 24 hours to live. It was the scariest thing you could ever imagine for me and for my friends and family.”

Cheryl Cole is now working for Sports Relief to raise funds to supply vital resources like mosquito nets to “…help those who need it most.”
