Cheryl’s husband gets possessive (and very rude) on Instagram
Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini might appear to be the perfect husband on the outside, but it turns out he has a bit of a jealous streak.
Cheryl's husband seems to have been watching her every move via Instagram lately, and he couldn't help but post a snarky comment on one particular video. The clip, uploaded by Cheryl's fellow X Factor judge Nick Grimshaw, shows him helping her as she tries out a mini Segway hoverboard.
In the video, Nick keeps a nervous Cheryl steady by grabbing her round the waist and afterwards lifting her off the board.
While the video was definitely uploaded in good fun, restaurateur Jean-Bernard took the opportunity to remind Nick (and his 778,000 followers) that Cheryl was his… and no-one else's. "Jimmy the grym you very funny and strong after all those hours in the gym but remember her ass is mine," he wrote, with two crying face emojis and a pair of watchful eyes.
Not a great move, Jean-Bernard.
The comment has since been deleted, but not before Nick's fans spotted it. "Your comments on here earlier were pathetic. Did you delete them because you realised how stupid and unwanted they were too," commented one user.
Jean-Bernard tried his best to paint the whole thing as a joke, commenting again later to say, "My ass is taken by God and my wife… Anyway it was fun everybody sleep well. But Jimmy sleep one eye open."
This is not the first time Cheryl's husband has made a public display of jealousy. Back in February, he was snapped looking sullen and refusing to let go of his wife's hand as she posed for a photo with a fan in London's Pancras Station.
