Ever dreamed of starring in a Disney film? It’s about to come true
Starring in a Disney movie is the stuff of our childhood dreams, and if you can pass for a nine year old, it could be your time to shine.
Alternatively, you could pass the message along to any younger siblings you have that a casting call has been put out for an Irish male actor to play the lead role in Disney's upcoming adaptation of Artemis Fowl.
The Disney team is looking for someone who is 'inquisitive and possessing both academic and emotional intelligence.'
'Artemis is highly perceptive and good at reading people. Most importantly, Artemis is warm-hearted and has a great sense of humour,' reads a statement.
'Applications for the role must be submitted by parent or legal guardian for the casting dates outlined below, indicating which location you can come to and with a recent photo.'
The auditions are being held in the Cork area, with the first from 14:00 -19:00 on May 24 in Schull, the second from 14:00 -19:00 on May 25 in Schull, and the last taking place from 14:00 -18:00 on May 26 in Cork City.
Email applications are welcome, and can be sent to emily.brockmann@disneympp.com.
