Costa removes THIS festive fave, internet goes into total meltdown

Hot chocolate is a seasoned Christmas tradition, and whether you like yours dark, milk, white or with marshmallows, the options have always been endless.

Until this year, that is.

Coffee hotspot Costa has just unveiled its festive seasonal menu, and there’s one glaring omission this year: the white hot chocolate.

OK, it’s disappointing news, but we’ll get over it – right?

Wrong!

Twitter has actually gone into a bit of a meltdown over the news, to the point where Costa might just have to reconsider its decision.

“There’s no white hot chocolate at Costa this year. Such a let-down. Going to Starbucks instead,” threatened one peeved customer.

Meanwhile others have pronounced themselves ‘devastated’, and even proclaimed Christmas to be ‘cancelled’.

We know that white hot chocolate isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but removing the option altogether? That’s just plain cruel, Costa!

Judging from Twitter, we’re only a handful of tweets away from a petition. We’re holding out hope!
