Did Nicki Minaj’s boyfriend just reveal what we think he did?

Last month Nicki Minaj got her fans very excited indeed when she posted a picture of a diamond sparkler on her ring finger, suggesting her boyfriend of six months Meek Mill had popped the question.

Although neither she or Meek officially confirmed the engagement, they definitely knew what they were doing when they posted a series of tweets that same day about how lucky they both were and one in particular that read, "I wish every night could feel like last night."

To make things even more set in stone, just days after Nicki's ring picture went viral, her rapper pal Drake brought her on stage at Coachella to congratulate her in front of a crowd of thousands.

Given the evidence, you'd be forgiven for thinking Nicki and Meek's engagement was definitely set in stone. Now though, Meek has adamantly claimed that he and Nicki are definitely NOT about to walk down the aisle, despite the speculation.

"I ain't engaged," the rapper told T.I. in an interview with Fader magazine.

"It's definitely real," he said of the relationship. "But it ain't really time to get married yet. We're still learning each other, feeling each other out."

Given that the interview was conducted in April, it could have taken place before the proposal took place, but if so we're guessing a clarification would have been printed too.

The singer only split from her boyfriend of ten years, Safaree Samuels, shortly before Christmas, so maybe she is trying to take things slowly with her new man. But that doesn't explain the €450k sparkler still sitting on THAT finger…
